- the fixing bracket comprises: a coupling element 1, which is suitable to be coupled to the wall 10 of a building; an engagement element 2, which is suitable to provide engagement with a pair of plates 3a, 3b; and position adjusting means 4.
- the position adjusting means 4 comprise a block provided with a threaded pivot 5 which is rigidly coupled thereto and protrudes from the upper surface 11 of the block.
- the block has a surface 6, which is meant to rest against the wall 10 of the building when the bracket is installed; a bottom surface 7, which is joined to the surface 6 by means of a stiffening ridge 8; and a seat 9, inside which the lower end of the threaded pivot 5 is blocked.
- the surface 6 has the purpose of increasing the load-bearing strength of the entire bracket and prevents the bracket from rotating.

- the cavity 18 has a larger diameter than the threaded pivot 5. If the wall 10 has out-of-plumb regions, i.e., if it has projections and the like, the block 4 must be able to have a certain play, in order to be able to perform the upward sliding required to insert the element 2 in the lower plate 3b. This play is allowed because the diameter of the cavity 18 has a sufficient play with respect to the diameter of the threaded pin 5 and therefore allows the surface 6 to adapt to the wall 10.

- the position of the adjustment means 4 with respect to the coupling element 1 is adjusted by acting on the nut 19 so as to adjust the translatory motion of the threaded pivot 5 within the cavity 18 of the coupling element 1 and accordingly the position of the plates 3a and 3b on a vertical plane.
- the translatory motion, on a horizontal plane, of the engagement element 2 with respect to the threaded pivot 5 of the adjustment means 4 instead allows to adjust the plumb-lining of the plates 3a and 3b, i.e., their position on the horizontal plane that determines the distance of the plates 3a, 3b from the wall 10.
- the maximum extent of the translatory motion is determined by the size of the elongated through opening 13.
- the washer 14 and the nut 15 allow to lock the engagement element 2 in the intended position and accordingly achieve optimum plumb-lining of the pair of plates 3a, 3b with respect to similar pairs of plates arranged above or below.

- the surface 6, by resting against the wall 10, causes the entire bracket to offer considerable resistance when loaded, since the bolt 16 does not bear alone the entire weight that bears on the bracket, which is instead distributed on two resting points formed on the wall 10.
- the fixing bracket according to the present invention fully achieves the intended aim and objects, since it allows to perform the vertical adjustment and the plumb-lining adjustment of the plates not only without having to remove the connection of the fixing bracket to the wall but also without having to remove the plates, thus allowing a quicker, more precise and less inconvenient adjustment for the operator.
- the bracket thus conceived is susceptible of numerous modifications and variations, all of which are within the scope of the inventive concept.
- the surfaces 11 and 12 may have rhomboidal knurlings so as to facilitate a rotating movement to precisely center the slots defined in the plates 3a, 3b in order to properly insert the arms 20a and 20b.
