Description

The present invention relates to a protective device on printing presses according to the preamble of claim 1.

A generic protective device is from DE 44 02 158 C1 known.

The object of the invention is to provide a protective device for Propose printing presses that are part of the printing process involved pressure points against unauthorized access protects and which on the other hand is not involved in the printing process Pressure points by opening the protective device for maintenance work or repairs.

This object is achieved by the subject matter of claim 1 solved.

According to the invention, each pair of cylinders is comprehensive a blanket cylinder and a plate cylinder, one pivotable, flat shielding the pair of cylinders Protective cover assigned. Every protective cover is individually in their respective protective position or from this Protective position can be swiveled out. This makes it possible individual pairs of cylinders for maintenance or repair work accessible while the other pairs of cylinders operating the same press.

By arranging the swivel axes of the protective covers needs the protection device little additional space according to the invention.

By arranging a horizontal dividing surface, the also by an otherwise used device the machine, preferably a swiveling washing device, can be replaced will be preferred Embodiment of the invention access from one its protective position pivoted cover by one shut down cylinder pair to an adjacent one, still in Operation prevented cylinder pair.

4 gebildet.Figure 1 shows two to one side of a continuous Path-arranged cylinder pairs of an "N" bridge element and a "U" bridge element arranged above it. Several such "N" and "U" bridge elements are alternating arranged one above the other in a printing tower. The illustrated Cylinder pairs are each made up of a blanket cylinder 1 or 3 and a plate cylinder 2 or 4 educated.

Each of the cylinder pairs 1, 2 and 3, 4 is one in one Machine frame pivotally mounted, flat Protective cover 10 or 20 assigned. The protective covers 10 and 20 are formed in one piece and flat each shield a pair of cylinders against an unauthorized one Access by an operator. In Figure 1, the two protective covers 10 and 20 each in their protective position shown. Between the two on top of each other lying blanket cylinders 1 and 3 is a horizontal one Cover plate as a separable surface 30, preferably by means of Quick couplings, attached to the machine frame. The Partition surface 30 prevents access to either of the two Cylinder pairs 1, 2 and 3, 4 from the side of the adjacent one Cylinder pairs, if that Protective cover swung out of its protective position has been used, for example for the purpose of maintenance work.

Each of the protective covers 10 and 20 is one Swivel axis 11 or 21 can be swiveled in the machine frame stored. The pivot axes 11 and 21 run in the cylinder axis direction. The pivot axes 11 and 21 are within of the triangular, free area between cylinder pairs 1, 2 and 3 lying one above the other, 4 arranged. The protective covers 10 and 20 are around their respective pivot axis from its assigned, i.e. to be shielded Pair of cylinders in the direction of each other protective cover too out of the protective position swiveling away.

In Figure 2, the lower protective cover 20 is for the pair of cylinders the "N" bridge element pivoted upwards. This pair of cylinders 3, 4 is thus for the operating personnel accessible. However, the interface 30 provides access to the other pair of cylinders 1, 2 prevented. The latter Cylinder pair 1, 2 can therefore continue printing, while the cylinder pair 3, 4 can be serviced.

Figur 3 zeigt den Fall, in dem das obere Zylinderpaar 1, 2 für Wartungsarbeiten zugänglich gemacht wurde, indem die diesem Zylinderpaar zugeordnete Schutzabdeckung 10 nach unten aus ihrer Schutzstellung heraus geschwenkt worden ist.FIG. 3 shows the case in which the upper pair of cylinders 1, 2 has been made accessible for maintenance by the protective cover 10 assigned to this pair of cylinders has been pivoted out of its protective position below is.

20 dienen. The separating surface 30 extends on one side to close to continuous path and extends to the other side up to the adjacent pivot axes 11 and 21 of protective covers 10 and 20. The free ends the protective covers 10 and 20 in their protective position another cover 15 and 25 are located opposite each other arranged. These additional cover elements 15 and 25 are available on the press from home; should however, if this is not the case, they are as in the Figures 1 to 5 shown to attach accordingly. Each of the pairs of cylinders is thus for the operator inaccessible by one in Figures 1 to 5 as almost Shielding closed line shown against unauthorized Access protected. The mentioned line extends from the additional cover 15 or 25 over in the protective position located protective cover 10 or 20, which then through the separating surface 30 into the area between the Blanket cylinders 1 and 3 of two superimposed Bridge elements reach into it. The additional cover elements 15 and 25 are essentially horizontal to the adjacent plate cylinder 2 or 4 and can advantageously be used as stops for the serve free end of the protective cover 10 or 20.

The respective lower protective element 25 can Operator performing maintenance or repair work support.

As shown in FIGS. 1 to 5, the invention requires Protective cover extremely little additional space. It is simply placed between two one above the other Bridge elements pivoted. More bridge elements are not affected. According to the invention anyway existing space between an "N" bridge element and an overlying "U" bridge element for the Purpose of the protection device used. It can be beneficial be the pivot axes 11 and 21 of the protective covers 10 and 20 as far as possible towards the vertically continuous path or on top of each other arranged to move blanket cylinders 1 and 3.

Figure 4 shows the arrangement of Figure 1, with additional a washing device assigned to the blanket cylinder 1 41 and a washing device assigned to the blanket cylinder 3 42 are shown. The two washers 41 and 42 are each within the through the protective covers 10 and 20 shielded room above and arranged below the separating surface 30.

In FIG. 5, the respectively assigned washing devices are shown 41 and 42 of Figure 4 by a single Washer 45 replaced, approximately on the imaginary Center line between the blanket cylinders arranged one above the other 1 and 3 is pivotably mounted, that depending on the pivoting position of this washing device 45th either the upper blanket cylinder 1 or the lower one Blanket cylinder 3 can be washed. In this central arrangement, the washing device 45 takes over Separating function of the separating surface 30. An additional covering to form the interface 30, as shown in the figures 1 to 4 is shown, can be omitted. The pivot axis the washing device 45 extends in the longitudinal direction of the cylinder and lies roughly on the center line between the two superimposed blanket cylinders in the Area between an imaginary connecting line between the axes of rotation of these blanket cylinders and an imaginary one Connection line between the pivot axes 11 and 21 protective covers 10 and 20.

In Figure 6, a swivel mechanism is an example of the Protective cover 10 shown. On the machine frame G is a crank 13 rotatably mounted about its shaft journal. As The bearing is a bearing block attached to the machine frame G. 14. A gas pressure spring 15 is on the lever arm 13 by means of a pin 16 about a to the pivot axis 12 of the protective cover 10 parallel axis rotatably articulated. With your the other end is the gas pressure spring 15 by means of another Swivel or ball joint on the machine frame G supported. The lever arm 13 has the protective cover on it 10 facing in the image plane according to FIG Side two webs 17 and 18, which are U-shaped to each other are arranged. The two webs 17 and 18 are each with provided a hole through which a quick connection for the protective cover 10 serving bolt 19 inserted can be. The protective cover 10 sits on a shaft 12 with one end in the through the webs 17 and 18 formed U-shaped bearing engages. The wave 12 is also at its end engaging in the U provided a hole into which the bolt 19 is inserted becomes. This way the connection between crank 13 and protective cover 10 or shaft 12 thereof manufactured. The protective cover 10 can thus be simply pull out the bolt 19. On his is protruding beyond the U-shaped bearing 17, 18 end the bolt 19 with pressurized balls or others appropriate means to avoid an unintended Fall out of the bolt 19 in all pivot positions prevent.

Figure 6 shows a preferred embodiment of the Swing mechanism for the protective cover 10, in which namely the shaft 12 of the protective cover 10 on the Crank 13 is attached that the pivoting of the protective cover 10 about its pivot axis 11 an additional rotary movement around the rotary bearing of the crank 13 on the machine frame G is superimposed. This is the pivot axis 11 eccentric to the axis of rotation of the crank 13 on the crank 13 attached. With this eccentric attachment the protective cover swiveled out of the protective position parallel or almost parallel to each neighboring protective cover can be pivoted. The Protective cover 10 is on both sides by means of a swivel mechanism, as shown in Figure 6, on the machine frame G stored.
