Claims (6)

  1. Security device on rotary printing presses with a shaft (4) mounted in side frames running parallel to a cylindrical component (1), a protection (3, 3', 3'') arranged thereon and a control cam (2) with at least one coordinated limit switch (5) and a spring-loaded latching unit (16), characterised in that the control cam (2) fixed on the shaft (4) in engagement with the spring-loaded latching unit (16) has an electrically securable first latching position (13) for the protection (3) and a second latching position (13) for the protection (3') and on a neighbouring cam lobe (14) an electrically secured safety position (15) for the protection (3''), wherein the control cam (2) has a law of movement which, in the first and second latch positions (13) for the protection (3, 3') with applied force (F), the latching device (16) has a lever arm (h) = 0 and after overwhelming the pivot point, the second latching position (13) neighbouring the cam lobe (14) to achieve the security position (15) for the protection (3'') has an increasing force of the latching unit (16) with decreasing lever arm (h).
