Description

B e s c h r e i b u n g Description
Werkzeug zum Beschneiden und Formen eines BetondachsteinrohlingsTool for trimming and shaping a concrete roof tile blank
The invention relates to a tool for trimming and shaping the foot-side edge of a profiled concrete roof blank manufactured in the extrusion process, the tool having a holder, a cutting plate provided with a cutting edge and a shaped body.
Das Werkzeug ist mit einerFrom the German patent specification 35 22 846 C3, Figures 5-7, a tool for trimming and shaping the foot-side edge of a profiled concrete roof tile blank produced in the extrusion process is known. The tool is with one
Das Werkzeug wird üblicherweise schräg zur fußseitigen senkrechten Querebene desBracket attachable to a pneumatic cylinder moving the tool. A cutting plate is screwed to the holder, to which a molded body made of wear-resistant plastic is attached. The tool is usually at an angle to the vertical transverse plane of the foot
Concrete roof tile blank made so that the cutting plate makes an oblique cut, in which a short piece is cut off from the foot-side edge of the concrete roof tile blank and the foot-side edge is deformed by the molded body.
In the known tool, the force required to form the foot-side edge is transmitted through the cutting plate from the holder to the shaped body, so that the cutting plate is exposed to high impact and bending stress when the tool is inclined. When penetrating into the highly compacted concrete of the concrete roof tile blank, the cutting insert is also subjected to severe abrasion. Since the insert of the known tool is made of a tough but not abrasion-resistant material due to the much more critical impact and bending stress, the service life of the tool is very short. In order to increase the service life of the tool, tests were carried out in which the surface of the cutting plate was hardened or provided with an abrasion-resistant coating. However, such attempts did not produce a satisfactory result because the wear-resistant but brittle layers became cracked and finally flaked off the cutting insert.
The object of the present invention is to provide a tool for trimming and shaping a concrete roof tile blank of the type mentioned at the outset, which has a significantly longer service life.
The object is achieved in that the holder and the molded body is integrally formed as a support body with a recess for the material and positive reception of the cutting plate, that the cutting plate is made of hard metal and glued into the recess, and that the cutting plate with its upper edge abuts at least one projection of the support body.
Due to the one-piece design of the holder and molded body, the force required to form the foot-side edge is conducted directly from the holder into the molded body. In this way, the insert remains free from impact and bending stresses even when the tool is tilted, so that it is possible to adapt the material of the insert specifically to the abrasion stress. The insert is therefore made of a brittle, but much more abrasion-resistant material than was previously the case.
Standzeitversuche, die mit dem erfindungsgemäßen Werkzeug durchgeführt wurden, ergaben, daß das erfindungsgemäße Werkzeug aufgrund der besonderen konstruktiven Gestaltung des Tragkörpers und der Auswahl des Hartmetalls für dieSince the cutting plate is largely glued to the supporting body in the region of the recess of the supporting body and the upper edge of the cutting plate bears against at least one projection of the supporting body, a possible bending of the cutting plate due to the compressive force occurring during cutting is prevented. Service life tests that were carried out with the tool according to the invention showed that the tool according to the invention due to the special structural design of the support body and the selection of the hard metal for the
Cutting insert has a 10 times longer service life than the known tool.
A particularly secure cohesive connection of the insert and support body can be achieved if the side of the insert facing the support body rests on the support body with at least 2/3 of its surface within the recess, so that a large adhesive surface is present.
The cutting plate of the tool can be made of a special hard metal, which in addition to high abrasion resistance also has high toughness. Group G 40 hard metal is preferably used.
In order to be able to cut profiled concrete roof tile blanks, the cutting edge of the cutting plate can have a contour provided with recesses of different depths, the depth T of the recesses being the height of the profile on the underside of the
Betondachsteinrohlings entspricht. Concrete roof tile blank corresponds. The contour of the cutting edge also corresponds to the profiled surface of the lower mold on which the concrete roof tile blank was formed.
Beim Beschneiden des Betondachsteinrohlings mit einem schräg angestellten Werkzeug mit ebener Schneidplatte werdenIn the case of a profiled concrete roof tile blank, the side folds and the central brim are higher than the watercourses arranged between the central brim and the side fold. When trimming the concrete roof tile blank with an inclined tool with a flat insert
Side folds, center brim and water courses are chamfered from the top of the concrete roof tile blank to the bottom, with the higher side folds and the Middle brim should be trimmed more than the watercourse. The cut surface created at the foot edge of the concrete roof tile runs obliquely to the vertical transverse plane of the concrete roof tile blank on the foot side.
In order to give the concrete roof tile blank an attractive appearance, the foot-side edge should run at least in the area of its lower edge in the foot-side vertical transverse plane to the concrete roof tile blank. This can be achieved in a simple manner if the cutting plate of the tool set at an angle α to the vertical transverse plane at the foot has curvatures in plan view whose respective curvature x is proportional to the depth T of the recesses of the contour of the cutting edge and to sin α. The curvature x to be formed in the insert is calculated according to the mathematical relationship x = T «sin α.
