  • DE 32 39 799 C is a longitudinal folding device known in which the folded copies before Introduction of a second longitudinal fold - a so-called third fold - in the direction of transport against a number run from attacks.
  • the Folded copies using a longitudinal folding knife as well two fold rollers longitudinally folded are the Folded copies using a longitudinal folding knife as well two fold rollers longitudinally folded.
  • US 51 58 524 A which corresponds to the preamble of claims 1 and 2, discloses an apparatus for Longitudinal folds, being vertical according to a folding knife Movable stops are arranged to clear a paper jam to eliminate.
  • DE 41 09 730 A describes a pivotable Stop for sheet-controlled knife folding units, the is locked by means of a solenoid.
  • a snippet removal by simultaneous lifting of all attacks is not during production possible because the folded product over the stop line gets out and the attacks then no longer can be deferred.
  • the invention is based, devices for a folding device with which Production disruptions due to paper residues or Paper particles can be avoided.
  • a folder 1 - z. B. Longitudinal folding device - consists in a known manner of a driven Folding roller pair, 2, 3, a clockwise up and outgoing folding knife 4 and a frame-mounted Folding table 6, 7 towards the folding gap 8 rounded longitudinal edges 9, 11.
  • a printed product 10 (Fig. 2), e.g. B. a signature or a single sheet, is on the left and right parts of several upper conveyor belts 12 and lower conveyor belts 13 detected and in the transport direction or Production direction C against one impact surface each 26 of the stops 16 to 25 and subsequently with a second longitudinal fold, d. H. a third fold Mistake.
  • the printed product 10 is between parallel acting means of transport, for. B. between the lower debris of the upper conveyor belts 12 and the upper debris of the lower conveyor belts 13. Suction belts, suction slides and the like can also be used as a means of transport.
  • the stops 16 to 25 are spaced between the conveyor belts 12, 13 and can each consist of a rectangular sheet.
  • the stops 16 to 25 are each connected to a linear drive, for. B. at the end of a piston rod 27 of a double-acting pneumatic cylinder 28 by means of a bracket 30. All working cylinders 28 are fastened to a carrier 29 which corresponds to the maximum width of the printed products 10.
  • the carrier 29 is supported on both sides by means of tabs 14, 15 on brackets 31, 32 mounted on the frame.
  • Each of the stops 16 to 25 located at the end of the piston rod 27 can each be arranged in a longitudinal guide arranged vertically in the carrier 29, e.g. B. slot 33 guided, that is adjustable in height, that is to say arranged in a vertical plane D back and forth.
  • Each working cylinder 28 has two connections 34, 36. First connections 34 of the working cylinder 28 of every second stop 16, 18, 20; 25, 23, 21 are connected by means of a common pipeline 37 and are therefore subject to a common control command.
  • the second connections 36 are connected to a common pipeline 39 and are also subject to a second common control command.
  • First connections 41 of the working cylinder 28 for the remaining stops 17, 19; 22, 24 are connected by means of a pipeline 42 and second connections 43 of the working cylinders 28 are connected to a pipeline 44.
  • the pipes 42, 44 also each correspond to separate control commands.
  • the pipes 37, 39, 42 and 44 of the working cylinder 28 are connected to a compressed air reservoir, not shown, and an associated known control.
  • Each cylinder 28 is on the back of the Carrier 29, one in the direction of folding table 6 extending rectangular bracket 46 assigned, its second leg near the lower edge 47 the carrier 29 is bent and subsequently against the production direction C parallel to the Folding table 6 extends.
  • This bracket 46 can its lower side, the folding table 6, 7 in the Cross-section be dovetail-shaped and one directed against the stop 16 to 25 Cleaning device, e.g. B. Scraper Knife 48 take up.
  • the scraper knife 48 is a sheet metal strip trained, which with its in the production direction C facing lower edge 49 frictionally with the Impact surface 26 of each stop 16 to 25 in Connection is established (Fig. 2).
  • the device works as described below. As a result of a tax command are about half the number n / 2 17, 19, 22, 24 of the total number n of stops 17, 19, 22, 24; 16, 18, 20, 25, 23, 21 in an upper one Cleaning position A is located, d. H. they stand with a printed product 10 disengaged and are by means of the piston rods 27 of the working cylinder 28 upwards drawn. Thus the number mentioned is n / 2, i.e. one Group of stops 17, 19, 22, 24, d. H. about everyone second stop temporarily from the trajectory C the Print products have been spent. The scraper knives 48 thus face the impact surfaces 26 of the stops 16 to 25 in a relative movement to each other.
  • a Group of first stops 17, 19, 22, 24 on a first common carrier and a group of second stops 16, 18, 20, 25, 23, 21 on a second common support be fixed.
  • Each of these two carriers is e.g. B. adjustable on both sides by linear drives, e.g. B. arranged pull up.
  • the stops 16 to 25 can be spaced apart from one another and individually or in groups 17, 19, 22, 24; 16, 18, 20, 21, 23, 25 about a pivot axis 61 from a vertical position of a y-axis 60 through an angle alpha in the production direction C are arranged.
  • the pivot axis 61 runs parallel to the z axis 62 of a spatial coordinate system (FIG. 4).
  • the stops 16 to 25 can be pivoted with their lower edges 51 from an operating position B into a cleaning position A (FIG. 1).
  • the lower edges 51 can be cleaned manually or by means of brushes, rotatable brush rollers or air nozzles.
  • stops 16 up to 25 around individual swivel axes e.g. B. 63, 64, etc. from a vertical position parallel to the y-axis 60 to be pivotable by an angle beta.
  • the pivot axes 63, 64 run axially parallel to the x-axis 66 of a spatial coordinate system (FIG. 4).
