Definitions
- the invention relates to a conductor head and a conductor, in particular a Extension ladder with bars connected by rungs, one foot end and one opposite top end of the line, with a drive on the wheels are arranged, which forward-facing, rotatable contact points for the Form free positions on straight wall surfaces, also a drive for one Instead of leader.
- Extension ladders usually only have impellers when the ladders are extremely long. The most common shorter extension ladders from e.g.
- the CH-PS 170 960 proposes the frictional resistance against lateral sliding away of the upper end of the line by increasing at each upper end of the spar a frustoconical roller is brought. Without stress, instead of one Line contact, as would be the case with a cylindrical roller, only one Dot pad. This disadvantage is remedied by making the roller elastic is formed so that the specific contact pressure at different Loads remains about the same. However, this solution has not been widely used. Rather, there are almost exclusively wheels made of hard plastic or metal in the Commitment.
- a special solution for the safe placement of a ladder on telegraph posts is in GB-PS 1340 224 described.
- the ladder becomes a at the top of the line or two rotatable rollers for starting up are proposed. These are at the opposite side protected by a chain against tipping of the ladder. It is also possible to use two rollers arranged at an angle, so that these additionally prevent it from sliding sideways.
- this solution can be found in the shown version not used on a straight wall surface or in the inner corner will. At an outside corner, the solution is only a small constructive one Change can be used, which prevents the two upper bar ends contact the wall instead of the rollers.
- the invention has now been given the task of having the disadvantages of the conductors Fix impellers and a job on straight walls as well as inside and To enable outside corners.
- a ladder head system is to be developed that all can guarantee corresponding basic requirements.
- the new invention was made in particular, another subtask posed, which is the user-friendliness improved. These are e.g. Positioning security, easy attachment to existing or new ladders, pleasant to use in the ones already described Situations, and if possible also the easy decision for the choice of specific better solution.
- the new Invention now allows the ladder to be pushed up independently of whether it is a straight wall surface, an inside corner or an outside corner.
- the corner application has even decisive advantages by not only making it easier to push up, but also making use of corners even safer.
- a ladder Designed according to the invention allows pushing up over the wheels without any danger of causing damage and is just as safe to use a ladder with fixed contact surfaces.
- the trained according to the invention At no time do impellers form an angular contact point. Especially in use with the weight of the user is also formed by the wheels elastic deformability a small contact surface.
- a very interesting solution could also be found by the ladder in the area of the upper spar ends Has mounting points for the quick assembly of the wheels, such that either an impeller or support paws with fixed contact surfaces can be installed.
- the W094 / 29561 shows stuck Contact surfaces.
- the new invention now allows the corresponding advantages of fixed contact surfaces can also be used with impellers. It is in the state of the art This is also why technology is not possible, ladders with wheels on outside corners to be used, since the uppermost one already during the installation or erection movement Rung and not the wheels would contact the corner. In most The classic ladder with wheels cannot or should not be used in applications to be turned into a corner. The line security was on when leaning on Inside corners very bad.
- the adjusting head can either be immovable contact surfaces or have an impeller with the contact points, and releasably fixed to the change support will. This means that either the entire prop with an impeller or is designed with immovable contact surfaces or even mixed, or how it is preferably proposed that an adjusting head be detachably attached to the change support attachable and designed according to one or the other variant.
- the interchangeable support is particularly preferred as a rigid bracket with two opposite support frame formed by a parallel to the rungs truss are connected. The interchangeable support begins with the bending stiffness the forces arising from the employment of the ladder as reaction forces result from the investment agencies.
- Each support frame has at least one flat rib for protection Attachment of user information signatures.
- the interchangeable support can be attached to the spar adapter are screwed, the screw connection preferably slightly resilient is designed to cushion sudden effects. If you do that The way in which tradesmen deal with ladders is observed, every now and then you find that this can be very rough. Ladders are sometimes simply pulled up or onto a truck thrown up. Since traditionally nothing stands out from the ladder, one assumes that nothing on the ladder can be destroyed. However, this results in a strong one Shortening the life of the conductors to less than 10 years.
- the support frame and the crossbar of a change bracket together have a U-shape, each with one attachment point to the spar in the middle of the U-legs. Every support frame has also a mounting plate with a longitudinal slot for the screw connection ladders of different widths. Adapters are advantageously attached to the ladder bars arranged, which can be adapted to the respective spar profile using two mounting blocks, be screwed tightly to the spars.
- the mounting blocks point asymmetrically arranged threaded holes, for use in different Screw-in positions.
- the queue can be designed as an angled support head with a running gear, on which the impellers are rotatably arranged, the support head to the spars an angle in the range of about 100 to 120 °, preferably about Occupies 110 °.
- the support head is used as an intercepting force opened shape, in particular designed as a V or U shape.
- the impellers are very particularly preferably made of an elastic material good adhesive properties and can have different shapes e.g. a spherical shape, the axis of rotation of which run parallel to the rungs of the ladder. It is but it is also possible that each wheel consists of two hemispheres, each with a common one Axis of rotation is formed. Furthermore, each impeller can only over the range of Contact points should be spherical, correspondingly for starting straight wall surfaces, inside corners and outside corners. Another possibility is in that each wheel as a wheel set with rollers arranged on both sides is formed, each wheel set over a, when used approximately vertically extending pivot axis so that the wheels of the respective Wall disposition are customizable.
- the drive has two truncated cones Impellers, which enclose two times 45 °, with a central cylindrical Section and with a common axis of rotation.
- one wheel set of at least 2 or 3 wheels is assigned to each ladder stile are, which form the opposing investment sites according to the invention.
- the Prior art impellers have more or less hard plastic or Metal body. This theoretically creates a clean one on the straight wall Line contact.
- the impellers according to the new invention are preferred as elastic plastic body, in particular designed as an elastic rubber body, which have profiled contact surfaces and a with the weight of the user area investment site result. Due to the rubber-elastic behavior of the wheels a flattening only forms in the area of the attachment point under load.
- this is Drive designed as an angled continuation of both spars, such that the Effective plane of the contact surfaces is arranged transversely to the two spars, or in the case an articulated connection can be brought in a transverse plane, one to the spars Angles in the range of about 100 to 120 °, preferably from about 110 °. It is very advantageous if the drive as part of a ladder support head with a V-shaped or U-shaped brackets and connecting means on the bars, in particular pull-out ladders or long ladders can be attached.
- the wheels directly on the outside of spar extensions be arranged such that the upper end of the two spars with the Drive as well as the top rung of the ladder a sufficient recess for a Form outside corner.
- this is Drive formed as part of a U-shaped, support bracket, with parallel to the Rung bridging rails and a pipe and strap connection, to fix on transition pieces of the two bars of the ladder, or on the bars itself.
- the new invention can thus also be used as an existing ladder Install retrofit kit or integrate directly with new conductors.
- FIG. 1 shows the setting of a pull-out ladder 1 according to the invention with a Lower part 100 and a pull-out part 101 or the removal of the ladder from the Wall on which the movements take place in the opposite direction.
- the person at B the pull-out part 101 begins to slide upwards, the two impellers 5, 5 'form the contact points and roll up on the wall when pulled up.
- At A is the ladder is fully extended and ready for work, or the reverse Process for pulling in the pull-out part 101.
- Both ladder parts consist of each two spars 2 resp. 2 'and a number of rungs 3.
