Definitions

  • the invention relates to a socket for an electrical device with at least two tab receptacles, whereby the socket in cross section perpendicular to the direction of insertion out of round, with a parallel to the smallest dimension Axis of symmetry is formed.
  • Such sockets for electrical devices are extensive known. Such a socket forms together with a device plug-in device into this plug-in plug, which allows an electrical device from to solve its connecting line. Is located the socket on the connecting cable and the plug firmly on the electrical device so that the plug pins in unplugged can not be under voltage.
  • plug devices with and without protective conductor are known connectors without a protective conductor you essentially identify yourself two circular sections arranged side by side composing cross section. In these two circular sections are arranged plug receptacles. These connectors are for connection of insulated devices, such as portable radios or the like used.
  • a well-known use a plug device provided with a protective conductor is for example the electrical connection of computers, computer screens or hi-fi devices.
  • connection line side Sockets which one essentially rectangular cross section with two sharply beveled Have corner areas. Relative to a parallel to the Extension of the longer cross-sectional dimension
  • the axis of division is the strongly flattened corner areas arranged above this.
  • the cross section below the division axis there are corner areas which are only slightly rounded. It results - related to the division axis mentioned asymmetrical cross section, which gives the user a visual aid for correct insertion given is.
  • Document CA-A-1305 748 discloses an outlet after Preamble of claim 1 and a combination according to Preamble of claim 9.
  • a division axis is transverse to the axis of symmetry runs such that the cross section above and below the division axis of a convex line of curvature is limited, with both lines of curvature in are essentially circular, with different Radii.
  • the radius of the other side of the division axis arranged cross-sectional section is larger than the radius of that on the other side of the division axis extending curvature line. For example.
  • the center point of the radius-larger curvature line can arranged outside the total cross section of the socket be and the center of the radius-less curvature line can be within the total cross section, where both centers on the axis of symmetry of the Socket are positioned.
  • the flat plug receptacles parallel to the connecting line between the transition areas to move such that a connecting line between the centers of the tab receptacles at least approximately by the centroid of the entire cross section of the socket, which the latter - due to the composition of the Cross-section from lines of curvature different Radii - not at the intersection of the connecting line between the two transition areas and this perpendicular axis coincides.
  • the tab receptacles are preferred for the rest of those in the prior art Technology based on known recordings. They prefer to point out in each case an entry area with a rectangular cross section on. Is preferred in the extending in the longitudinal direction of the socket Opening the electrical one Connection, metallic clamping sleeve provided.
  • the Socket protruding beyond its outer surface Has locking cams, which is perpendicular to the extension the flat connector receptacles are spring-loaded. conditioned this configuration ensures that the Given connector.

  • the locking cam on the socket side is countered the spring force by means of the push button on the device relocated, so that afterwards a deduction of the Socket can be done.
  • the socket according to the invention is movable Devices, such as vacuum cleaners, lawn mowers or the like, is used.
  • the locking cam arranged on the less curved outside is. It proves to be particularly advantageous here that the locking cam is approximately in the middle of the tab receptacles is aligned.
  • an embodiment is preferred in which cross-section between the two tab receptacles a round plug receptacle is formed.
  • This has in one embodiment of the socket with protective conductor an appropriately trained round contact sleeve on. It is also provided that during training the round plug receptacle without a protective contact is not designed to be conductive. The so educated Round plug receptacle is therefore a blind receptacle trained without contact sleeve.
  • the invention further relates to the combination according to claim 9.
