Metal kitchen sink with a raised peripheral edge region (2) which functions as a frame (9), and with at least one bowl (4, 5), wherein the frame (9) and the bowl (4, 5) are prefabricated as separate parts and are connected tightly to one another along peripheral overlapping connecting surfaces (9a, 4b, 5b; 11, 4c, 5c), characterised in that at least a press fit is formed between the connecting surfaces (9a, 4b, 5b; 11, 4c, 5c) by an undersize on the connecting surfaces (9a, 11) of the frame (9) relative to the corresponding connecting surfaces (4b, 5b; 4c, 5c) of the bowl (4, 5) or by an oversize on the connecting surfaces (4b, 5b; 4c, 5c) of the bowl (4, 5) relative to the corresponding connecting surfaces (9a, 11) of the frame (9), and that the connecting surfaces (9a, 11, 4b, 5b, 4c, 5c) which are pressed against one another extend approximately vertically in the position of use.
  2. Kitchen sink as claimed in Claim 1, characterised in that a plurality of connecting surfaces (9a, 11; 4b, 5b, 4c, 5c) which are distanced from one another or are oriented in different directions are provided with a press fit between the frame (9) and bowl (4, 5).
  3. Kitchen sink as claimed in Claim 1, characterised in that at least a press fit is combined with undercut zones (12) in the connecting region of the frame (9) or of the bowl (4, 5).
  4. Kitchen sink as claimed in Claim I, characterised in that the connecting surfaces are formed, on the one hand, by a bowl rim (4a, 5a) which is at the top in the position of use and extends approximately horizontally and, on the other hand, by a support surface (9a, 10) which surrounds the bowl rim laterally and below it.
  5. Kitchen sink as claimed in Claim 4, characterised in that at least the bowl rim (4a, 5a) is gripped with its outside edge (4b, 5b) in a press fit with the frame (9).
  6. Kitchen sink as claimed in Claim 4, characterised in that the support surface (10) of the frame (9) terminates in a centring flange (11)which projects downwards in the position of use and which is gripped with the side wall (4c, 5c) of the bowl (4, 5).
  7. Kitchen sink as claimed in Claim 1, characterised in that the bowl or the bowl rim (4a, 4b; 5a, 5b) is gripped so that it is engageable from above in at least one undercut zone (12) of the frame (9).
  8. Kitchen sink as claimed in Claim 1, characterised in that the frame (9) is gripped in at least one undercut zone of the bowl (4, 5).
  9. Kitchen sink as claimed in Claim 1, characterised in that a sealing and/or adhesive compound (13) is disposed, particularly pressed in, in the overlap region of the frame (9) and the bowl (4, 5).
  10. Kitchen sink as claimed in Claim 9, characterised in that the sealing and/or adhesive compound is disposed between the bowl rim (4a, 5a) and a support surface (10).
