Abstract

The method of fixing a sink to a metal draining board unit, previously pierced with an opening for the sink, by means of a crimping flange, is characterised in that the edge of the opening for the sink is turned down perpendicularly to the plane of the draining board; an annular flange is placed round this turned-down edge, the annular flange having U cross-section comprising a low inner wing adjacent to the turned-down edge of the sink opening, and a higher outer wing.
