- the present invention relates to a multi-pin connector system a socket and at least one plug for electrical and mechanical Connecting electrical conductors, the socket being a socket housing includes and the socket housing in several individually after outside open chambers is divided
- the connector system according to the invention is for building cabling class E provided.
- the class determines the transmission quality of electrical signals from entire transmission links or transmission systems from one end point to another end point.
- corresponding standards such as EN 50173, are limit values for the maximum attenuation for crosstalk, for reflections, etc., as well specified for the maximum permissible frequencies.
- class E and future Classes are provided with frequencies up to 600 MHz and more work.
- the plugs according to US-A-5 342 221 are for example Suitable for mounting four pairs of connections.
- the plugs have one rectangular configuration.
- the lengths of the plugs are a function of the Number of pairs of connections that are installed in the connector.
- the one Plugs have a plurality of individual plugs for insertion into plug sockets the other connector. Individual of the individual plugs or plug sockets have flattened corners so that they only belong together Plugs can be plugged together.
- the individual plugs and sockets each have only one contact.
- EP-A-0 037 013 relates to a multiple plug with a plurality of individual plug heads, each of which has at least one pole, however, is preferably bipolar and is connected to a corresponding one Number of single or multi-pole counterparts on one device or Intermediate plug can be plugged.
- the goal is to build a multiple connector with regard to the connection to the device or to an adapter Simplified handling with the greatest possible variability of the combination of the individual plug heads allowed among each other. This will make this goal achieved that the individual plug heads by means of connecting piece in any arrangement among themselves the different arrangement of the poles of counterparts on the device or adapter plug against falling out or pulled out, but at any time if necessary from the connector detachable again, can be plugged together to form a compact plug.
- EP-A-0 700 126 relates to a connector for a cable with several Veins, which are covered by a metal shield inside a cable jacket runs, are enclosed together. It is a connector housing with a first device for electrically connecting the wires with one each in the housing arranged connector pole available. The connector poles are for manufacturing an electrical connector accessible from outside the housing. Furthermore, there is a second device for electrical connection of the shield with a ground or earth connection. The second device has a ring with at least one metal outer surface which is loosely placed over the cable end inserted into the connector. Of the protruding from the cable sheath removed into the area of the ring The screen is guided over the outer surface of the ring. Within that Housing, essentially along the entire outer surface and opposite to this there is an electrical contact element, which is electrically connected to the ground or earth connection.
- Another object of the present invention is to provide electrical Transmission parameters compared to the known connector system of the type RJ 45 to improve and transmission frequencies up to 600 MHz and higher to enable.
- An additional goal is for guiding the shield within the connector system, i.e. inside the outlet and to suggest an improvement within the connector.
- the task is done with a multi-pin connector system a socket and at least one plug for electrical and mechanical Connecting electrical conductors solved in that in each of the Chambers two first plug contacts accessible from the outside are arranged, that the connector comprises a connector housing, at least in the connector housing two guide bodies, each with two second ones accessible from the outside Plug contacts are arranged, and that one chamber in each chamber the chamber of the socket is plugged in, the first and the Connect the second plug contacts and the socket housing and that Plug housing have a metal surface on all sides and that Plug system is provided for connecting multi-core cables, wherein each core of the cable within the outlet is essentially in the is guided and connected in the axial direction of the first plug contacts and that within the connector each core of another cable essentially guided and connected in the axial direction of the second plug contacts and the connectable cables are shielded cables, which are a first Have a shield underneath a cable sheath that covers all the wires in the cable encloses that two twisted wires of the cable together are included with a second screen, the second
