Description
- Definition eines zu druckenden Bildes an der Benutzerschnittstelle mittels Dateneingabekomponenten auf der Benutzerschnittstelle,

Im Ablaufdiagramm von Fig. 14 ist dargestellt, wie ein Benutzer an der Benutzerschnittstelle eine geeignete Option auswählt. Wie in unserer gleichzeitig anhängigen Anmeldung GB 9614144.5 mit dem Titel "Printing Apparatus" näher beschrieben, weist das Druckgerät eine Benutzerschnittstelle mit einer Anzeicevorrichtung und diversen Eingabetasten auf. Diese Eingabetasten umfassen eine Drucktaste (PRINT), einen Satz Funktionstasten (FUNCTION), eine Wähltaste (SELECT) und einen Satz Dateneingabetasten (DATA INPUT). Zu den Funktionstasten zählt eine Installationstaste (SET UP) und eine Sondertaste (SPECIAL), mit denen ein Benutzer die verschiedenen hier erörterten Schneidmöglichkeiten auswählen kann. Wie in Schritt 600 angegeben, wird durch Betätigen der Drucktaste PRINT durch einen Benutzer ein Druckvorgang ausgewählt. Durch Drücken der Sondertaste SPECIAL erscheint im Anzeigefeld ein Menü an Etikettenwahlmöglichkeiten, wie in Fig. 15 dargestellt. Durch die Verwendung von Cursortasten kann der Benutzer eine der folgenden angezeigten Optionen auswählen:
Claims (20)
- Druckgerät, umfassend:eine Druckvorrichtung zur Durchführung von Druckvorgängen auf einem Aufzeichnungsträger;eine Schneidvorrichtung zur Durchführung von Schneidvorgängen auf einem Mehrschichtband (T), wobei die Schneidvorrichtung eine erste (102) und eine zweite (103) Schneidklinge aufweist, wobei die erste Schneidklinge (102) so angeordnet ist, daß sie durch sämtliche Schichten des Mehrschichtbandes (T) schneidet, und die zweite Schneidklinge (103) so angeordnet ist, daß sie durch eine oder mehrere Schichten des Mehrschichtbandes (T) schneidet, dabei jedoch mindestens eine Schicht intakt läßt, und in Längsrichtung des Bandes von der ersten Schneidklinge (102) beabstandet ist;eine Benutzerschnittstelle mit Komponenten zur Dateneingabe, um es einem Benutzer zu ermöglichen, ein zu druckendes Bild zu erstellen und Komponenten zur Drucksteuerung, mit denen ein Druckmodus ausgewählt werden kann, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Benutzerschnittstelle eine Komponente zur Schneidensteuerung aufweist, damit der Benutzer einen entsprechenden Schneidmodus auswählen kann; undeine Schnittsteuerschaltung aufweist, die so geschaltet ist, daß sie von der Benutzerschnittstelle ein Schnittsteuersignal erhält und in Abhängigkeit von diesem Signal die erste Schneidklinge (102) in einem der gewählten Schneidmodi wahlweise außer Betrieb setzt.
- Druckgerät nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Schneidvorrichtung einen relativ zum Druckgerät festen Teil und einen relativ zum Druckgerät bewegbaren Teil aufweist, die zum Schneiden des Mehrschichtbandes (T) zusammenwirken.
- Druckgerät nach Anspruch 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß zum Veranlassen der Bewegung des bewegbaren Teils der Schneidvorrichtung ein Motor (200) vorgesehen ist.
- Druckgerat nach Anspruch 2 oder 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die wahlweise Inbetriebsetzung und Außerbetriebsetzung der ersten Schneidklinge (102) durch Einwirkung des bewegbaren Teils der Schneidevorrichtung erfolgt und von dem Weg abhängt, den der bewegbare Teil der Schneidvorrichtung zurücklegt.
- Druckgerät nach Anspruch 4, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß es einen Sensor zur Erkennung des vom bewegbaren Teil der Schneidevorrichtung zurückgelegten Weges aufweist.
- Druckgerät nach Anspruch 5, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Sensor bei einer Bewegung des bewegbaren Teils der Schneidvorrichtung zählbare Impulse abgibt.
- Druckgerat nach einem der Ansprüche 4 bis 6, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das Inbetriebsetzen der ersten Schneidklinge (102) an einem Ende eines Ausfahrhubes des bewegbaren Teils der Schneidvorrichtung erfolgt.
- Druckgerät nach einem der Ansprüche 4 bis 7, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das Außerbetriebsetzen der ersten Schneidklinge (102) am Ende eines Rückhubes des bewegbaren Teils der Schneidvorrichtung erfolgt.
- Druckgerät nach Anspruch 7 oder 8, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der bewegbare Teil der Schneidvorrichtung am Ende des Ausfahrhubes bewirkt, daß eine Halterung der ersten Schneideklinge (102) derart verschoben wirkt, daß die erste Schneidklinge (102) in ihre Betriebsstellung gelangt.
- Druckgerät nach Anspruch 8 oder 9, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der bewegbare Teil der Schneidvorrichtung am Ende des Rückhubes bewirkt, daß eine Halterung der ersten Schneideklinge (102) derart verschoben wird, daß die erste Schneidklinge (102) in ihre Außerbetriebsstellung gelangt.
- Druckgerät nach einem der Ansprüche 5 bis 10, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß es einen Sensor zur Erkennung der Ausgangsposition des bewegbaren Teils der Schneidevorrichtung aufweist.
- Druckgerät nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 11, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der bewegbare Teil der Schneidvorrichtung eine Amboßhalterung (104) aufweist, die einen ersten Amboß (106) und einen zweiten Amboß (108) trägt, die so angeordnet sind, daß sie mit der ersten bzw. zweiten Schneidklinge (102,103) zusammenwirken und derart rollbar gelagert sind, daß während der Ausübung der Rollbewegung über die Breite des Bandes (T) die Schneidvorgänge ausgeführt werden.
- Druckgerät nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 12, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die erste Schneidklinge (102) und die zweite Schneidklinge (103) auf einem gemeinsamen Schneidenträger (100) befestigt sind.
- Druckgerat nach Anspruch 12 oder 13, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Ambosse (106,108) einen umlaufenden Schlitz (106a,108a) aufweisen, der gegenüber der ihnen jeweils zugeordneten Schneidklinge (102,103) ausgerichtet ist.
- Druckgerat nach einem der Ansprüche 12 bis 14, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Amboßhalterung (104) gegenüber einem Schlitten (110) drehbar gelagert ist, wobei der Schlitten (110) so gelagert ist, daß er eine lineare Bewegung über die Breite (w) des Bandes (T) ausführt.
- Druckgerät nach Anspruch 15, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Schlitten (110) auf einer Führungsspindel (114) gelagert ist, wobei die Drehung der Führungsspindel (114) die lineare Bewegung des Schlittens (110) bewirkt.
- Druckgerät nach einem der Ansprüche 12 bis 16, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Amboßhalterung (104) gegenüber der ersten Schneidklinge (102) und zweiten Schneidklinge (103) vorgespannt ist.
- Druckgerät nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß in einem ersten Schneidmodus die erste und die zweite Schneidklinge (102,103) aktiv sind, und in einem zweiten Schneidmodus die erste Schneidklinge (102) außer Betrieb gesetzt ist.
- Druckgerät nach Anspruch 18, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß in einem dritten Schneidmodus ein Bandstreifen hergestellt wird, der aus einzelnen Etiketten besteht, die voneinander durch nur Schnitte getrennt werden, die mit der zweiten Schneidklinge (103) durchgeführt werden, und daß das letzte Etikett des Bandstreifens durch einen Schnitt im ersten Schneidmodus vom verbleibenden Bandvorrat abgeschnitten wird.
- Verfahren zum Betrieb eines Druckgeräts zur Durchführung von Druckvorgängen auf einem Aufzeichnungsträger, wobei das Verfahren folgende Schritte umfaßt:Definition eines zu druckenden Bildes an der Benutzerschnittstelle mittels Dateneingabekomponenten auf der Benutzerschnittstelle,Auswahl des Druckmodus an der Benutzerschnittstelle mittels Modusauswahlkomponenten;Auswahl des Schneidmodus an der Benutzerschnittstelle durch Schnittsteuerkomponenten,
