Die Erfindung betrifft einen Zerspaner für Hackschnitzel. Derartige Zerspaner sind in einer Vielzahl von Ausführungsformen bekanntgeworden. Beispielsweise wird verwiesen auf DE-U-93 07 371. Solchen Zerspanern werden Hackschnitzel von einer bestimmten Größe zugeführt, mit dem Ziel, die Hackschnitzel in Späne zu zerlegen, die vor allem von der Spanplattenindustrie verarbeitet werden.The invention relates to a chipper for wood chips. Man kann somit die Messerpakete näher aneinanderrücken, so daß sich eine größere Anzahl von Messerpaketen auf einem Messerring gegebenen Durchmessers unterbringen läßt, daß aber gleichzeitig die Weite des Späneabzugskanals erhalten bleibt. Die Versteifungsrippe gemäß der Erfindung erstreckt sich hierbei vor allem bis zum radial inneren Ende der Klemmplatte hin. Dies ist wichtig, damit auch dort noch die notwendige Klemmkraft von der Klemmplatte auf das Messer übertragen wird, und damit es somit nicht zu einem Klaffen zwischen der radial inneren Klemmplattenspitze und dem Messer kommt.The inventor has recognized that the clamping plate can be made much thinner than it has since, given the appropriate design - namely the arrangement of a rib.
