Definitions
- the invention relates to a method for continuous production, filling and Sealing double chamber infusion bags for one with an infusion liquid substance to be leached, especially tea, with two sides Side by side, each containing a substance quantum Chambers that are connected to each other at the bottom by a cross fold and the head ends are tacked together by a connection, wherein a uniformly moving flat sheet of heat-sealable Material, in particular filter paper material, with a number of identical substance quanta is provided at regular intervals.
- the invention relates also the double chamber infusion bag produced by such a method.
- Tea infusion bags are used in various forms.
- the two adjacent to each other, side by side have lying chambers, each containing a quantity of dried and crushed tea leaves included.
- the two chambers are on the floor a cross fold, also called bottom fold, connected and connected closed at the head end by a connection at the one Thread is attached with a label.
- This is usually done in two Operations manufactured head closure fold formed by in a first
- the corners of the infusion bag are folded in one step second step, the trapezoidal part that remains at the tip is folded over is, whereupon the folded parts by a locking clip with one end of the thread fastened together become.
- the double chamber infusion bag thus constructed consists of one easily permeable material, which allows the infusion liquid, the leaching out substance to be leached, especially the tea, and the therein dissolve contained substances. In particular, this is filter paper material used.
- Such a generic, double-chamber infusion bag is from the German patent known to the applicant 1 001 944.
- One is made uniform for its manufacture advancing filter paper web bulged at its edges, are equal quanta of the leached substance in uniform Spacing is applied to the fabric and is done by folding the longitudinal edges a continuous tube is formed on the fabric. Then will cut off a piece of the tube containing two substance quanta and this piece folded crosswise, so that two, one each by the transverse folding Chambers containing substance quantum arise, placed side by side become. The ends of the tube piece or the still open until then both chambers are merged and together - as described above - Connected by means of the metal locking clip.
- the disadvantage is doing that by folding the longitudinal edges of the fabric to a continuous Hose and the formation of the head connection a simple, Multi-row procedure with a high number of cycles in a practical way not is feasible because many operations in mechanically difficult technology would be required.
- DE 691 00 244 T2 (EP-A-0 448 325) is a double-chamber infusion bag known, the two chambers - unlike the one described above Embodiment according to DE 1 001 944, but corresponding to that of DE 38 07 792 - are sealed against each other at the bottom rebate.
- a Pair of tubular sheets, each along their length in a series individual chambers are divided, arranged in an overlapping relationship, wherein their chambers are aligned with each other and the tracks on the divisions be connected between the chambers.
- the double chamber infusion bag therefore has edge seals on its long sides and profile end seals at the bottom and at the head end, with the head seal on has a convex profile, while the bottom seal with a concave Profile is executed to form side extensions by appropriate Fold a W-shaped bottom fold.
- the process of The manufacture of such a double-chamber infusion bag involves two pairs of single-layer webs, for a total of four webs, of heat-sealable Filter paper material overlapped to one another by means of longitudinally extending Heat seals on the edges (edge seals) the two tubular ones To form lanes. Before that, tea portions are spaced apart Intervals placed on the bottom track of each pair.
- the two chambers forming the infusion bag are around 180 ° around each other so that the top ends of each pair of Chambers are brought together and sealed together can.
- the disadvantage here is that no leaching of the tea over the Bottom area of the chambers can take place as this is done by a heat seal are completely separate. Those for leaching, i.e. the Penetration of liquid available permeable bag areas are greatly reduced by the floor sealing.
- the Technically complicated and complex to produce so that a Manufacturing on a high-speed machine is not possible.
- it is disadvantageous that to form a double-chamber bag a total of four sheets of filter paper material processed one above the other must be and that beyond that duplication is not possible is.
- the invention is based on the object , while avoiding the disadvantages mentioned above, of developing a manufacturing method of the type described at the outset, in particular for tea, which is technically simple with a multiple-row production of double-chamber infusion bags with chambers connected on the bottom side by side in any number of rows high speed, especially on a machine with more than 500 pcs / min. enables.
- the object is achieved in a generic method according to the invention in that on the corresponding broadened path next to each other several rows of substance quanta positioned symmetrically to each other are placed over the second upper lane made of heat sealable material, in particular filter paper material, the same Width is that the lower and upper web brought together and by means of heat seals running in the longitudinal direction the edges of the path and in the middle between the rows of substance quanta still connected single tubes that are formed in regular distances, each measuring two substance quanta of the series - According to the length dimensions of the double-chamber infusion bags to be manufactured - undergo heat seals in the transverse direction, that then the longitudinal sealing seams and transverse sealing seams each on the center lines are cut and such hose parts are formed that each have two chambers containing a substance quantum that in a further method step, preferably simultaneously and parallel to one another the adjacent hose parts to form a Bottom fold folded and the two chambers of each piece of hose Be placed side by side so that the head ends of the chambers are adjacent to each other, and
- the lower web is preferably widened to a width which is the sum the widths of the bags to be made parallel to each other plus the widths the upper membrane corresponds to the longitudinal edge seals to be created trained with congruent dimensions and with the same Speed synchronously fed to the lower track.
- the heat seal can be carried out using the longitudinal seals for the production of the longitudinal sealing seams and the cross seals for Production of the cross seal seams simultaneously with a combined tool, especially heat seal rolls, are performed to complete the process to simplify, to be able to use shorter machines and the To be able to increase process speed.
- Cutting the longitudinal sealing seams and transverse sealing seams on the Centerlines can be created one after the other in two separate process steps be performed. It is preferred to first use the longitudinal sealing seams to cut on their center lines, then on all Single hoses produced in this way have the longitudinal edge seals to the inside fold in, then perform the cutting of the transverse sealing seams and finally to carry out the transverse folding to form the bottom fold in such a way that the folded longitudinal edge seals in the interior arranged between the two chambers of the double-chamber infusion bag become.
- the width of the double-chamber tea bag is not only designed smaller, but it becomes a longitudinal seam by folding Increased strength, which significantly improves the durability of the seam.
- the double chamber tea bags are provided with a thread and a label proposed in an expedient embodiment of the invention
- the cross fold to form the bottom fold in the thread Arrange lengthwise over each hose part so that the thread after the formation of the pouch chambers and arrangement of this side by side in Shape of a loop is arranged in the interior between the chambers, with at least one strand, preferably in the final head sealing Both strands of the thread loop project with their free ends on the outside and connected to each other by means of a roof folded label become.
- the double chamber infusion bag made in particular with the above method of the invention has two side by side, each chambers containing a quantum of substance, which at the bottom have a Cross fold are interconnected and the head ends by a Are pinned together.
- the double chamber infusion bag is according to the invention characterized in that the longitudinal edges of each chamber with a longitudinal edge seal and the head ends of each chamber with a Cross heat seal are closed, and that at the head end another transverse heat sealing provided as a connection for tacking together is, preferably with an inner, from the interior between the chambers pull-out thread loop is provided, at one or a label is attached to both ends.
- the double-chamber infusion bag preferably has folded inwards Longitudinal edge seals on. Furthermore, in a preferred embodiment advantageously the two strands of the thread loop at a distance to each other through the fastener connection, the heat seal is designed at the head ends of the chambers such that at least one, preferably two, spaced apart in a channel-like manner Free areas for threading.
- the thread loop is convenient completely housed in the interior between the chambers and pulled out by pulling the label, in the preferred embodiment a closed suspension loop for the bag is formed is.
- the free thread ends can be folded with a roof-like label strip be connected, the thread ends from the sides against each other preferably inserted into the fold of the label and there attached, especially heat-sealed, so that the underneath itself extending roof surfaces of the label remain free and in the manner of a rider attachable to the top of the bag with the thread loop inside are.
- Thread loop meandering in the interior between the two chambers to lay In order to make pulling out trouble-free, it is advisable to Thread loop meandering in the interior between the two chambers to lay.
- the double-chamber infusion bag 1 shown in FIG. 1 of the drawing has two adjacent chambers 2 and 3 on the bottom 4 are connected to each other via a W-shaped transverse fold 5 and each one predetermined quantity of leachable by an infusion liquid Contain substance, especially tea.
- the two chambers 2 and 3 are on its head end 6 by a transverse heat seal 7 or 8 closed, reference being made to the illustration in FIGS. 3 and 4 in which the front chamber of the infusion bag is partially omitted has been.
- Thread 10 is inserted in a meandering shape
- a label 11 is attached to the outside of its free ends 12, 13.
- the meandering in the interior 9 between the two chambers 2 and 3 arranged Thread 10 accordingly forms at least one, in the exemplary embodiment 1 and 2 several loops 14, which make it possible in his "hide” the entire length in the packed state between the two chambers.
- transverse heat seal 15 which in FIG Drawing is shown hatched and in an additional process step is created after that already with the transverse heat seals 7 and 8 provided head ends 6 of the chambers by machine have been.
- the transverse heat seal 15 carried out such that two channel-like, Areas 16, 17 spaced apart from one another remain free for thread passage.
- Fig. 4 of the drawing shows a modified with respect to the attachment of the thread Embodiment in which the heat seal only one leaves channel-like area for the passage of the thread, its inner End connected to the transverse heat seal 15 for attachment is.
- the label 11 is then at the free thread end that is passed through to the outside attached by heat sealing.
- the double chamber infusion bag therefore has two Chambers 2 and 3 on each other at the bottom 4 via the W-shaped transverse fold are connected, but the two longitudinal edges of each a longitudinal edge seal 19 and the top sides of each by a transverse seal are closed.
- the longitudinal edge seals 19, 20 are like the dashed representation of FIG. 2 illustrates inward into the interior 9 folded between the two chambers 2 and 3 to the outside dimensions of the bag to shrink and bring about a seam reinforcement.
