Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a staircase variable configuration.
  • each configuration which determines the inclination of the stringers and the distance between steps, or can make custom staircases, which are delivered assembled, or which are instead assembled on site. Such stairs are expensive to manufacture as well as to install.
  • the object of the invention is to propose a staircase to variable configuration which is particularly simple to make and install.
  • the configuration staircase variable includes two parallel stringers, steps intended to extend parallel to each other each between the two stringers, and means for fixing the steps in adjustable position between the two stringers, characterized in that the fixing means include for each step at least one rod spanning the entire width of the step and each end of which is mounted a means of respective tightening to stress the two stringers one towards each other with compression of the step forming spacer.
  • the steps are fixed like simple spacers between the stringers, they can if we wishes to be obtained by simple cutting off of a streamlined. There is no more to add to them lateral fixing.
  • the assembly is very fast, and the rigidity of the assembly obtained is improved thanks to rigid and compressed bracing as the steps define between the stringers.
  • the presence of at least a rod across the width of the tread strengthens this against bending under the weight of the or users.
  • Stair mounting can be an operation simple and fast, requiring no qualification particular, nor complex tools.
  • the means of clamping can be removable, allowing to disassemble the staircase and reassemble it on another site, with another configuration.
  • This staircase with variable configuration whose steps and the two stringers are preferably made of aluminum profiles, can have other features as described in the claims.
  • the stringers can be reinforced by sliding steel parts with inside the aluminum profile. And to facilitate still fixing the stairs both on the floor and at the top of the vertical wall against which the staircase is installed, screwable brackets and areas can be supplied with the staircase.
  • the staircase can be sold as a kit.
  • the staircase includes two side parts - or stringers - (1) in aluminum profile and steps (2) extending parallel to each other each between the two stringers.
  • each profile or stringer turned towards the other silt, is extended along each of its edges by two clamping wings (4) terminated each by a guide rib (6) bent in opposite direction to the other stringer.
  • the two edges side of the step are placed against the wall (3) of the two opposite stringers.
  • Each shoe is, at least before tightening, freely orientable with respect to the plan of walking around a axis (39) parallel to the width of the step.
  • each shoe is immobilized to avoid rotations around its axis (39) relative to the corresponding stringer.
  • the grooves (9) of the hooves overlap the ribs (6) parallel to the longitudinal direction of the stringer (1).
  • Each shoe has two clamping faces. These two clamping faces are located on either side groove (9) on each shoe. They have a offset corresponding to the thickness of the wing (4).
  • One (38) (fig. 3) is designed to lean against the corresponding side edge of the step, and the other (11) is designed to lean against a face of clamping (41) of the stringer opposite to the step, and carried by the clamping wing (4).
  • the two front hooves (7), located on both ends of the stair nosing (12), are crossed by a common anterior threaded rod (13) extending to inside the step along the step nose, in a housing with a diameter slightly greater than that of this rod. So the anterior threaded rod (13), is simply rotatable inside of the stair nosing, without being able to move away from the nosing of market.
  • the two posterior hooves (8), neighbors of the edge rear (14) of the step, are identical to the hooves anterior (7). They are crossed by a threaded rod posterior (16) joint passing inside the market.
  • this rear threaded rod (16) can slide freely in a housing (19) located inside the step and under the upper plane P of the step (2).
  • This housing (19) extends along the edge back (14) of the step with a certain depth towards the stair nosing, and a very high slightly larger than the diameter of the threaded rod (16).
  • the rear threaded rod (16) of each step is located at a freely adjustable distance from the anterior threaded rod (13).
  • Each shoe is associated to a nut (17) screwed onto the threaded rod.
  • Each shoe can, by screwing the nut (17) on the corresponding threaded rod, be urged towards the who wears it.
  • the hooves thus tighten the stringers against the steps, which form spacers between the stringers.
  • the rods threaded reinforce the steps against the bending.
  • the step (2) will thus be fixed on the two stringers in a position freely chosen by the user.
  • each anterior shoe (7) and posterior (8) comprises a retaining face (36; 46) which in service is parallel and adjacent to a longitudinal support face (37; 47) formed on the stringer to face upward when the stringer is in an inclined position on the stairs installed. So even in the event of loosening of a means clamping (7 or 8), the support of the retaining face (36 or 46) on the longitudinal support face (37 or 47) opposes the movement of the step down under the action of the weight of the user of the stairs.
  • the walk has a depth (distance between the nose (12) and the rear edge (14)) sufficient for the two threaded rods can also take between them a greater distance corresponding to the position minimum angle between the steps and the longitudinal direction of stringers (case of a staircase very little steep). We then tend to end up with steps unnecessarily deep, especially with regard to the standard depth.
  • the housing (19) in which the rear rod (16) can slide to move more or less away from the rod anterior (13) is completed, along the rear edge (14) of the step, by a step (21) which is such that the two extreme positions of the posterior rod (16) are on a line L (Fig. 4) inclined towards the rear compared to the plan of the walk.
  • Each stringer has a hollow profile body (22) of general rectangular section in which we can slide a reinforcing profile (42) (right part of the Figure 2), for example steel, in particular for reduce the flexibility of large stairs length.
  • the hollow profile body has along its front and rear interior faces, parallel to the axis bending of the stringer, two longitudinal ribs (23) allowing the reinforcement profile to slide without play, but without excessive friction, inside the hollow body (22).
  • the stringers tend to flex, they are prevented by the support of the ribs (23) against the reinforcing profile (42).
  • each stringer also has two reinforcing appendages (24) and (26).
  • the first (24) is connected to the front face of the oriented hollow body (22) towards the stair nosing.
  • the second (26) is connected to the rear face of the hollow body (22) facing the edge back of the step.
  • the front appendage (24) has on its turned side opposite the other stringer, a profiled groove (27) in T for fixing accessories such as a railing.
  • brackets are provided (28) fixed in adjustable angular position against outer side of the stringers, so that the free wing (29) of these brackets is supported on the ground (31) and can be screwed into it.
  • brackets (28) can be used for the fixing (1) stringers to the upper bearing (32) that the ladder achieves.
  • the square is placed so that its free wing (29) is oriented vertically and can be screwed flat against the vertical wall (33) against which the staircase is supported.
  • brackets (28) For fixing the brackets (28), you can in particular exploit the presence of the groove (27) and / or drill additional holes in the wall of the hollow body (22) and / or appendage (26).
  • the staircase further includes for each stringer a piece (51), especially of wood, comprising two angled faces (52) straight and a cylindrical face (53) having for axis geometric the edge (54) between the two angled faces right (52).
  • Each side (52) carries a stud rectangular (56) nestable in the hollow body (22) silts.
  • a staircase as described so far can be sold as a kit.
  • the installer of the staircase according to the invention determines, from the elevation and inclination of the stairs he wants the length of the stringers and the number of necessary steps. He buys two silts made at from profile cut to length, and the number of desired steps. Then he goes up, adjusts and fixes the steps, possibly places sectors then fixed the staircase thanks to the brackets.
  • the stairs of the examples described are entirely removable and then reinstallable on another site. This is particularly interesting for example for site equipment.
  • each step is carried out in two half-steps 61, 62 connected to each other by snap 63.
  • the joint thus performed is parallel to the width of the step, that is to say perpendicular to the plane of Figure 4.
  • the profile of the reverse half has a bulge 64 on its lower side. This is useful for increasing the stiffness of the steps when the width of the stairs is relatively large.
  • the reinforcement can be secured by a third profile, higher than the half-steps 61 and 62 of Figure 4, and which, by snaps on, fits between half steps 61 and 62 in Figure 4, either in all cases or only when it is necessary to make a relatively wide staircase.
  • the invention is not limited to examples described and shown.
  • the support of retained between the front hooves and stringers could be made between the upper side of the front guide wing (6) and the adjacent face hoof.
  • end caps that can be attached to the ends of silt for example by fitting into the body hollow, and to each of which is articulated along an axis parallel to the width of the steps a square whose the free wing can be fixed against the ground (31) or respectively the vertical wall (33).
