Abstract

The hinge comprises a fixed part (7) mounted on the door frame (6). This fixed part has a rotating spindle (9) on which the hinge movable part (8) is fixed to the door or window leaf (3). The movable part has a casing (11) which is inserted in a bore (12) milled in the leaf covering band (4). The casing axis is coincident with the leaf rotational axis (10) and is fastened to the covering band by fixings (18). The bore extends inside the covering band corresponding to an upright or upper or lower cross member to realise the rotational axis of the leaf relative to the frame. The fixings are constituted by a corner iron (19), supported on the covering band edge (20), in the corner (21) at the top of the leaf rotational axis.
