  • Such a gas generator 630 makes it possible to reduce the maximum amplitude or peak of pressure generated and consequently to reduce the wall thickness of the tube, therefore the mass of the latter, and to reduce the recoil force.
  • the ammunition 600 shown in FIG. 6 comprises a main cartridge 610 which houses in its front part the projectile 620 and in its rear part the propellant assembly 630.
