Definitions

  • the invention relates to a tandem warhead with a secondary floor as known from DE-C-3 544 528 (see the preamble of Claim 1)
  • a tapered vapor protection deflecting fragments of detonation is from the DE-C-3 544 528 known. In a tandem charging system, this covers a guide tube mouth for a margin load. Between the steam protection and an annular gap is provided for the additional charge. This does largely penetration of friction-increasing particles is achieved, but not prevents explosive swaths between the guide tube and the additional charge reach.
  • the invention has for its object a reliable arrangement of a Propose secondary floor in a tandem warhead.
  • Secondary storey designed as a frag grenade with detonator. This means that Danger of explosive swaths breaking open the back of the secondary floor and lead to irreversible damage to the secondary floor.
  • the invention solves this problem according to the characterizing features of claim 1.
  • the secondary storey is positively and non-positively connected via a threaded connection a tube piece of the tandem warhead designed as a holding tube.
  • a steam protection secures the secondary storey directly at the threaded connection.
  • the steam protection in the ring space narrowing backwards compressed into it, thereby achieving the actual sealing effect.
  • a second phase takes place simultaneously with a feed movement of the secondary floor due to its inertia, breaking open one with the pipe section integrally connected cone section of the housing of the tandem warhead. This leads to a break in the threaded connection, so that Secondary storey due to its inertia its free flight phase until Arrival in a crater of a bullet channel caused by the shaped charge.
  • the fastening parts and the steam protection are simple and inexpensive producible. The functional safety of these parts is also available.
  • FIG. 1 is a secondary floor 1 in a pipe section 2 of a housing 3 of a tandem warhead 4 mounted and with a threaded connection 5 with connected to the housing 3.
  • a steam protection is designated 6.
  • the front part of the tandem warhead 4 has a detonator 7 and a shaped charge 8 with an igniter 9.
  • the secondary floor 1 consists of two, screwed together via a thread 35 Housing parts 10, 11. On the housing parts 10, 11 there are ogives 44, 45 intended. Both ogives 44, 45 have a splinter charge 23, 24. The fragments 23, 24 are by sleeves 67, 68 against, consisting of explosives Active charges 13, 14 covered. An igniter 20 separates the two active charges 13, 14 from each other.
  • the housing 3 has a conical section 87 with the part arranged thereon cylindrical pipe section 2.
  • This pipe section 2 is a floor 88 with a recess 89 corresponding to the ogive 46 via a threaded connection 90 screwed.
  • the ogive 46 is therefore in contact with a very large area on the floor 88.
  • the threaded connection 5 sets so-called counter lock. It guarantees the during transport secure attachment of the secondary storey 1 in the tandem warhead 4.
  • the threaded connection 5 between the pipe section 2 and the secondary floor 1 is secured against loosening in a conventional manner, for example by a security lacquer.
  • the steam protection 6 is wedge-shaped in the direction of the shaped charge 8.
  • an end face 91 lies at an acute angle 102 to the main axis 92 of the Tandem warhead 4.
  • the rear surfaces 93, 94 lie on a conical surface 95 and on a bottom surface 96 lying at right angles to the main axis 92 on.
  • This angle 102 extends between 30 ° and 50 °, preferably 45 °, as drawn.
  • the steam protection 6 lies in a wedge-shaped bottom that shrinks on the bottom Annulus 101 through the conical section 87 of the housing 3 and the secondary floor 1 is formed.
  • the inner contour of the vapor protection 6 is composed of one on the secondary floor 1 adjacent sealing lip 97 and also a ring-shaped Support surface 98.
  • the thread 86 of the threaded connection 5 lies at the beginning of the pipe section 2. This is followed by a free annular space 99 in the direction of the bottom 88. This Annular space 99 is delimited in the rear part by floor 88. The gap 100 of the annular space 99 is on average one to two millimeters. The length of the Annular space 99 is approximately one third of the length of the secondary storey 1.
  • the vapor protection 6 When viewed in a stretched manner over time, the vapor protection 6 is compressed due to the high pressure of the explosive vapor within the still existing housing 3, so that the explosive vapor cannot reach the floor 88 through the threaded connection.
  • the sealing lip 97 is pressed on the secondary floor 4 in the corresponding direction on the circumference.
  • the vapor protection 6 naturally does not keep off the explosive vapor in the long term, but only in the crucial microsecond range. In this time range, the conical end face 91 guides the pressure maximum slightly outwards, that is to say away from the threaded connection 5.
  • the housing 3 breaks together with the threaded connection 5, the secondary storey 1 already being in a forward movement due to its inertia. Due to the opening of the housing 3, there is a pressure relief with respect to the secondary storey 1, so that there is no longer a risk of the secondary storey 1 being broken open due to the explosive vapor.
  • the pipe section 2 remains stable due to the vapor protection, i. that is, he will not destroyed by the detonation swaths. This takes place during the forward movement of the secondary storey 1 is stabilized due to the annular space 99 of the secondary floor 1. This ensures that the secondary floor 1 receives a certain guidance in order to carry out a stable free flight phase to be able to do so until it hits the crater of the bullet canal.
  • the steam protection consists of an elastic, compressible art material. PVC and also PP, PA, PE, POM or PTFE are suitable for this.
