Abstract

Ein Turm für ein vorzugsweise gepanzertes Rad- oder Kettenfahrzeug ist mit einer Waffe und einem Magazin versehen, aus dem der Waffe Munition in gegurteter Form zuführbar ist. Dabei ist das Magazin im Turm seitlich neben der Waffe in deren Höhe angeordnet. Die Munition ist in im wesentlichen vertikaler Ausrichtung in dem Magazin aufgenommen und wird bei der Zuführung zur Waffe in Ausrichtung mit dieser gebracht. Um die Munition in einfacher und zuverlässiger Weise der Waffe zuführen zu können, ist die gegurtete Munition in dem Magazin spiralförmig aufgespult, wobei der Munitionsgurt von dem Magazin ohne Führungsvorrichtung frei der Waffe zuläuft, wobei er verdrillt oder verdreht wird. Vorzugsweise ist zu beiden Seiten der Waffe ein entsprechendes Magazin angeordnet, das in Auslaßrichtung des Munitionsgurtes nach unten geneigt ist.
