Definitions

  • the invention relates to a system for playing on several, placed apart from each other, especially coin operated Dart game devices with at least two on two different ones Playground equipment installed, a bidirectional Connection line between the play equipment, one each disc divided into segments to hold the darts, a device for recording and displaying the hit position on the disc and a computer for processing, Evaluation and transmission of the data.
  • DE-A-42 07 497 describes a device for determining the point of impact of darts on a target described.
  • This comprises one or two carriers each mutually opposite, parallel support rods, whose edge webs protrude beyond the plane of the target and one transmitter on each side and this diametrical carry a receiver on the opposite side.
  • the transmitter / receiver pairs along with the carrier webs the target moves with a sticking dart an interruption of the beam between transmitter and receiver causes and this triggers a processing signal.
  • the bracket-like carrier with the transmitter / receiver pair there may occasionally be jams and further an online detection of the arrow position is not possible, but this is timed from the drive processes dependent.
  • the invention has for its object a system for Play on multiple, distant, in particular to create coin-operated dart game devices, which is a very accurate, current display of the hit position enables.
  • a system for playing on several, removed from each other, especially coin operated Dart game devices thus comprises at least two on two Play equipment placed in different locations, a bidirectional Connection line between the play equipment, each a disc divided into segments to hold the Darts, a device for recording and displaying the Hit position on the target and a calculator for that Processing, evaluation and transfer of data.
  • the connecting routes Form a grid over the pane and through one on the The target hitting the target.
  • the grid coordinates are assigned, their values corresponding the crossing points for a data transmission to one other game device for hit position detection and display are provided.
  • the dart game device system enables playing the dart game at different locations high play appeal. This is ensured in particular by that a fairly accurate hit display of the respective Hit field is enabled. It goes without saying the accuracy of the tightness of the grid of the transmitter / element links certainly. However, it is then only required the position coordinate values this grid to display the hit position. Thus the amount of data to be transferred is compared vanishing to that of a digitized image low. Due to the stationary arrangement of the transmitters and receiver there is no wake due to a cyclical Movement to scan the field, but rather can on-line the position of the straight on the disc stuck darts. Furthermore it is also possible not just the position regarding one entire segment of the hit, but rather can also differentiated between the inner and outer ring , it may be more precise information is given.
  • the Frame preferably consists of strip-like elements. These are expediently arranged at right angles to one another, at a distance of about 50 cm. This way parallel beams, which are at an angle of Cut 90 °, which results in an X-Y coordinate grid.
  • the frame is advantageous for avoiding impact damage made of shockproof material.
  • the frame is arranged adjacent to the pane.
  • the transmitter elements are preferably diodes, in particular Laser diodes are provided.
  • the transmitter and receiver elements can each in the frame or a frame element be arranged alternately, i.e. there is a consequence Sender, receiver, transmitter, receiver, ... Alternatively, you can the transmitter and receiver elements also face each other or be provided in some areas.
  • the transmitter elements send continuous or pulsed or intermittent Light rays emitted by the corresponding Receiver elements are received.
  • a sticking dart interrupts the beam path of two in particular perpendicular rays of light.
  • Light energy which makes it possible again in a subsequent Evaluation circuit (comparator or AD converter) die Determine dart position.
  • the X-Y coordinates determined. It’s not just a hit segment, but rather a hit point, at least in any case only a small hit area can be specified. Of the Opponents can recognize just as closely as the other Player missed his target.
  • it can also be a screen, in particular Large screen, for the hit position display be provided.
  • the display can optionally be displayed still be set.
  • a large screen display can e.g. Team points, tables, scores, rankings the player, etc. are displayed.
  • bidirectional connecting line For the communication link between the play equipment, i.e. bidirectional connecting line, can be a modem data transmission line be provided.
  • the computer is in an advantageous embodiment of the system according to the invention a personal computer.
  • This can be on site of one of the play equipment, possibly also as a terminal are each at the location of the play equipment.
  • a central computer is also possible, which takes care of everything controls and processes.
  • the calculator is on Personal computer connected via a remote data transmission line of the operator.
  • the calculator can specially developed controller.
  • FIG. 1 shows the Structure of an embodiment of the system according to the invention is represented with two locations.
  • FIG. 1 (a) shows the first location A, e.g. a local play area.
  • FIG. 1 (b) shows a location B, e.g. a second, spatially separate Play area. These locations are e.g. around arcades.
  • There is a dart game device at location A. 2A which is basically a conventional one Structure and function.
  • the game machine 2A is over a line 4A connected to a computer 6A to which one Remote data transmission device 8A such as e.g. a phone with Modem is connected.
  • the computer 6A is shown in FIG Embodiment a personal computer. To him is over another line 10A a large screen 12A for hit display connected.
  • the device structure at location B is essentially similar, taking the appropriate facilities instead of using the letter “A” are labeled with the letter “B” and therefore will not be explained again in detail.
  • the two remote data transmission devices 8A, 8B are connected to each other via a remote data transmission line 14.
  • the remote data transmission line can e.g. by the Telephone network to be provided, but also one ISDN line, a network, etc.
  • FIG. 1 (a) and (b) dart game devices shown are according to the invention with an additional position evaluation unit fitted.
  • the hit field comprises a circular field 20 divided into segments 22, 24, 26, 28, etc.
  • the segments 22, 24, 26, 28, etc. are each externally defined by circular ring sections 32, 34 36, 38 etc. limited to the field limit. Furthermore, they are divided into sub-segments 22 a , 22 b , 24 a , 24 b etc. by further circular ring sections 42, 44, 46, 48, etc.
  • the hit position is only discriminated in segments. In the illustrated example, segment 24 is the hit segment, but the opponent cannot see whether segment segment 24a or 24b has been hit.
  • FIG. Figure 3 illustrates the example of the dart game machines 2A, 2B of FIG. 1 is realized the advantage of an additional position detection and display a dart hit.
  • the structure of the target is corresponding to that of FIG. 2, so this is not described again. It will be for equal parts same reference numerals used.
  • the dart hit the disc on the Segment section 24a of segment 24.
  • a marking arrow 50 is used for the hit position. This shows even the arrow position within the segment section 24a. In this way the opponent sees that the previous one Player has hit, but just marginally of the field. He can refer to this as the Adjust game.
  • the game is so realistic, i.e. more like how it is in personal presence, and in this way the incentive to play is essential elevated.
  • FIG. 4 shows an embodiment of a dart target with border frames.
  • the disc 62 is circular.
  • the four frame strips 64, 66, 68, 70 are each at right angles and closely adjacent to the disk 62 arranged, resulting in a bar spacing of about 50 cm.
  • the strips 64 to 70 are transmitter and receiver elements installed in the form of LEDs and sensors, where sender and receiver are opposite each other are located.
  • the frame strips 64 and 70 comprise transmitter elements and the frame strips 66 and 68 receiver elements. It In this way, crossing light rays result.
  • a stuck arrow interrupts the beam path of such Beam pairs. In the exemplary embodiment shown, this is done light rays 72, 74 illustrates the positions the corresponding transmitter and receiver elements the X-Y coordinates deliver the hit position.
