Durch Änderung der Last 23 kann auch der durch das Anlehnen erreichte Druck der Fördervorrichtung 9 auf den Stapel 11 variiert werden.
Ein gezieltes Nachlaufen und Anpassen des Förderorgans 10 an das Stapelmass erfolgt durch eine nicht dargestellte Steuervorrichtung, welche die Zuführgeschwindigkeit der Gegenstände 5 in Abhängigkeit der Hublage der Fördervorrichtung 9 in der Führungsanordnung 18 beeinflusst bzw. steuert.

The conveyor member 10 is a conveyor belt 12 driven around vertical rollers, the strand 13 of which is turned towards the objects 5 supplied by the transport means 2 has two superimposed recesses 14 which communicate intermittently with a vacuum source 15 arranged behind the strand 13 (see also Fig. 3). A vacuum chamber necessary for this is indicated by dashed line 16 in FIGS. 2 and 3.
The conveying element 10 is leaned against the front end of the stack by a stroke-like wake effect of the conveying device 9, which for this purpose is fastened to a frame 17 which is movable parallel to the feed direction Z. The latter can be guided both on rails and, as shown, by means of a guide arrangement 18, which consists of at least one guide rod 19 and sliding sleeves 20, which are slidably guided and connect to the frame 17. At the ends of the guide arrangement, stops 21 are attached, which limit the stroke-like movements of the conveying device 9 or the conveying member 10. The conveying device 9 is displaced by a hanging load 23 on a rope 22 deflected around a roller and connected to the frame 17, but could also be carried out by motor or with a pressure accumulator. By changing the load 23, the pressure of the conveying device 9 on the stack 11 achieved by the leaning can also be varied.
A targeted follow-up and adjustment of the conveying member 10 to the stacking size is carried out by a control device, not shown, which influences or controls the feed speed of the objects 5 as a function of the stroke position of the conveying device 9 in the guide arrangement 18.

An dem Zutrittsende des Einszugsspaltes 24 ist ein von der Abstreifrolle 8 beabstandetes Leitorgan 25 vorgesehen, das den Einzug der einzelnen Gegenstände 5 in den Einzugsspalt 24 unterstützt. Das Leitorgan 25 kann wie gezeichnet, als ein in Förderrichtung der Abstreifrolle 8 vorgelagertes und über deren Wirkbreite sich erstreckender Blechstreifen ausgebildet sein und mit dem Förderorgan 10 einen Einzugswinkel von etwa 45° einschliessen, womit nicht nur ein schonender Einzug erwirkt sondern ein Blockieren der Gegenstände vor dem Einzugsspalt 24 vermieden werden kann.
Die dem Förderorgan 10 im Anschluss an die Erfassungs- und Vereinzelungsstelle der Gegenstände 5 zustellbare Abstreifrolle 8 ist mit einem Kraftspeicher 26 antriebsverbunden und ihre Bewegungsrichtung bildet mit der Förderrichtung des Förderorgans 10 einen spitzen Winkel.
Zu diesem Zweck ist die Abstreifrolle 8 mit einer an dem Gestell 17 befestigten Linearführung 27 verbunden, die durch zwei an einem Support 28 voneinander beabstandet befestigte Führungselemente 29 ausgebildet ist. An den Führungselementen 29 ist ein Lagerbock 30 der Abstreifrolle 8 verschiebbar angeordnet. Der durch Druckfedern gebildete Kraftspeicher 26 ist zwischen dem Support 29 und dem Lagerbock 30 der Abstreifrolle 8 an den Führungselementen 29 angeordnet.
In Fig. 3 wird u.a. auf die Ausbildung der Mitnehmer 6 hingewiesen. Diese weisen in dem dem abziehenden Förderorgan 10 zugewendeten Bereich eine Ausnehmung 31 auf und sind durch den seitlich anschliessenden Teil mit dem Transportband 3 fest verbunden.
Der in der Mitte der Mitnehmer 6 überstehende Abschnitt 32 dient als Stützvorrichtung über die gesamte Höhe der Gegenstände 5.

For this purpose, the scraper roller 8 is connected to a linear guide 27 fastened to the frame 17, which is formed by two guide elements 29 fastened spaced apart on a support 28. On the guide elements 29, a bearing block 30 of the stripper roller 8 is slidably arranged. The energy accumulator 26 formed by compression springs is arranged between the support 29 and the bearing block 30 of the scraper roller 8 on the guide elements 29.
In Fig. 3, reference is made to the formation of the driver 6. These have a recess 31 in the area facing the withdrawing conveying member 10 and are firmly connected to the conveyor belt 3 by the laterally adjoining part.
The section 32 projecting in the middle of the drivers 6 serves as a support device over the entire height of the objects 5.

Claims (15)

  1. Apparatus for separating flat objects such as covers, letters, pockets, bags, printed sheets or the like, delivered standing upright in stacks on an endless conveyor means, consisting of a feeder device which seizes the objects individually by their flat side from the leading end of the stack by means of one strand of a circulating feeder member and carries them away transversely with respect to the stacking direction, characterised in that the feeder device (9) is driven on a guide arrangement (18), approximately parallel with respect to the stacking direction, namely driven in stroke-like movements to advance it against the leading end of the stack.
  2. Apparatus according to claim 1, characterised in that the maximum advancing stroke of the feeder device (9) is limited by abutments (21).
  3. Apparatus according to claims 1 and 2, characterised in that the feeder device (9) is connected with a drivable frame (17).
  4. Apparatus according to claim 3, characterised in that the frame (17) is connected to a weight (23) or to a pressure accumulator or to a motor, to produce the driving force.
  5. Apparatus according to one of claims 1 to 4, characterised in that the feeder member (10) which is constructed in the form of a belt has associated with it a stripper roller (8) which rotates in the same sense and forms an intake gap (24) with it downstream of the separation process.
  6. Apparatus according to claim 5, characterised in that the entry end of the intake gap (24), to one side and upstream of the stripper roller (8), has a directing member (25) which forms an acute angle with the feeder member (10).
  7. Apparatus according to claim 5 or 6, characterised in that the stripper roller (8) and/or the directing member (25) forming the intake gap (24) is constructed so as to be displaceable towards and away from the feeder member (10), and/or so that the intake angle can be varied.
  8. Apparatus according to claim 7, characterised in that the stripper roller (8) is in driving connection with a force storage means (26) to do with the advancing movement.
  9. Apparatus according to claims 7 and/or 8, characterised in that the direction of motion of the stripper roller (8) and the feed direction of the feeder device or strand of the feeder member (10) form an acute angle.
  10. Apparatus according to one of claims 5 to 9, characterised in that the stripper roller (8) is connected to a linear guide (27) fast with the frame (17).
  11. Apparatus according to claim 10, characterised in that the linear guide (27) has, spaced apart from each other on a support (28), at least two guide elements (29) on which a bearing block (30) of the stripper roller (8) is movably arranged.
  12. Apparatus according to claim 11, characterised in that the force storage means (26) is arranged between the support (28) and the bearing block (30).
  13. Apparatus according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the conveyor means (2) is in driving connection with a control device for determining the delivery speed of the objects (5) depending upon the position of the feeder device (9) along its stroke.
  14. Apparatus according to one of claims 1 to 13, wherein the conveyor means has web-like entrainment members and the section of the feeder member that seizes the objects is arranged above the end of the conveyor means which effects the feeding, characterised in that the belt-like constructed conveyor means (2) is constructed with fixedly arranged entrainment members (6) extending along its feeding width and spaced apart in sequence, which in the effective region of the feeder member (10) have a cut-out (31) ending above the feeder member (10).
  15. Apparatus according to claim 14, characterised in that the conveying compartments (4) formed by the entrainment members (6) are closed at one side by a fixedly arranged wall (7) parallel to the delivery direction of the objects (5) and ending before the feeder member (10).
