Toutefois, il est absolument impossible d'ouvrir ces regards par l'intérieur, c'est à dire à partir du puits d'accès au réseau ou à la galerie. Or, il s'avère qu'une telle possibilité d'ouverture serait intéressante, en particulier pour les galeries techniques s'étendant sur les grandes longueurs, afin de permettre au personnel d'entretien d'effectuer des vérifications sur des tronçons de longueur réduite, sans avoir à parcourir la totalité de la galerie pour accéder au tronçon à examiner. De même, dans les galeries techniques véhiculant des fluides, comme c'est le cas dans les zones portuaires ou aéroportuaires, le personnel d'entretien souhaiterait pouvoir disposer de davantage d'issues de secours pour pouvoir sortir d'une galerie, en cas de début d'incendie ou d'émanations toxiques diverses.It is already known to provide manholes with a locking device opposing opening them from the outside by anyone who does not have an appropriate key. - un levier coudé qui, articulé près de son coude sur une platine verticale saillant au-dessous du volet, présente, d'une part, une branche sensiblement verticale dont l'extrémité libre porte latéralement un doigt, formant verrou et apte à coopérer avec la gâche en forme de crochet, et, d'autre part, une branche sensiblement horizontale dirigée vers l'intérieur du regard et dont l'extrémité libre est munie d'un moyen pour l'accrochage d'un organe de tirage,
- et un levier de commande qui, articulé sur la platine autour d'un axe parallèle à celui d'articulation du levier coudé, comporte un corps avec une poignée extrême logés dans une découpe du volet, et, près de son articulation, un profil en came apte à venir en contact avec la branche horizontale du levier coudé pour le faire basculer dans le sens du déverrouillage, ce levier de commande étant associé à un moyen de surverrouillage extérieur.

Claims (4)
- Locking device releasable from both sides of a manhole composed of a frame (2), at least one cover (4) hinged thereon and a latch actuable from outside and blocking the cover in the closed position, characterized in that it comprises:a hook-shaped keeper (10) projecting from the inner face of the frame (2) on the opposite side to the area in which the cover (4) is hinged on the frame (2),a bent lever (12) which is hinged close to its bend on a vertical plate (14) projecting below the cover and has, on the one hand, a substantially vertical branch (12a) whose free end carries laterally a finger (17), forming a latch and capable of cooperating with the hook-shaped keeper (10), and, on the other hand, a substantially horizontal branch (12b) which is directed towards the interior of the manhole and to the free end of which is attached a pulling member (18),and a control lever (13) which is hinged on the plate (14) about a pin (22) parallel to that (16) on which the bent lever (12) is hinged and includes a body with an end handle (26) which are accommodated in a cutout (25) of the cover, and, close to its hinge, a cam profile (27) capable of coming into contact with the horizontal branch (12b) of the bent lever (12) in order to tilt it in the unlocking direction, this control lever being associated with an outer top-locking means (15, 30).
