Claims (3)

  1. Procédé d'épuration d'effluents gazeux contenant des substances nocives, notamment des hydrocarbures fluorés et d'autres composés fluorés, par conversion chimique dans une chambre de combustion comportant un brûleur destiné à engendrer une flamme de gaz de combustion, caractérisé en ce que, par la séparation dans l'espace de l'alimentation de la flamme de gaz de combustion en gaz de différentes compositions et quantités, il est créé, d'une part une zone de flamme chimiquement fortement réductrice, dans laquelle sont alimentés les effluents gazeux à épurer, et d'autre part une zone de flamme fortement oxydante, dans laquelle les effluents gazeux arrivent après avoir traversé la zone de flamme réductrice.
  2. Procédé selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que la zone de flamme réductrice est engendrée par l'amenée d'un gaz de combustion et d'oxygène, ou d'un mélange de gaz de combustion avec un excédent en hydrogène, et en ce que la zone de flamme oxydante est engendrée par l'amenée supplémentaire dans la flamme d'un mélange de gaz de combustion avec un excédent d'oxygène, d'oxygène pur ou d'air.
  3. Procédé selon les revendications 1 et 2, caractérisé en ce que des produits de réaction nocifs provenant de la combustion dans les deux zones de flamme précitées sont éliminés par sorption et/ou hydrolyse consécutive.
