As shown in Figs. 5A and 5B , they each have a vertical shaft 72 provided on the lift frame 62 (or horizontally movable frame 65 ), a pivotal lever 73 pivoted to the vertical shaft 72 , a pivotal arm 75 pivoted to a horizontal shaft 74 provided in the pivotal lever 73 , an intermediate lever 77 pivoted via a horizontal shaft 76 to the pivotal arm 75 , and a support member 79 mounted via a vertical shaft 78 on the intermediate lever 77 .

  • the guide plate 81 has an opening formed by an inlet guide 81B on the inlet side of the corner guide 81A to smoothly guide the box 1 being introduced.
  • the guide may as well be such as to guide each box 1 in contact with sides thereof alone and not in contact with the edges 1A of the top.
  • Each cutter 82 is a laser cutter using a CO 2 laser or the like.
  • the cutter 82 is set in a mounting position relative to the guide plate 81 on the support 79 such that its cutting zone is defined with respect to the cardboard box 1 such as to extend from the corner portion of the box 1 along the top edge 1A into the cardboard 2 and be confined in these parts of the box 1 . That is, the cutter 82 cuts the top outer liner 3 of the box 1 and the folded portion 4B of the inner liner 4 on the back side of that outer liner 3 .
  • the laser cutter 82 may be replaced with a rotary blade 91 or the like as shown in Fig. 6B .
  • the rotary blade 91 or the like is again set so its cutting zone is confined in the thickness of the cardboard 2 so that it cuts the top outer liner of the box 1 and the folded portion 4B of the inner liner 4 on the back side of that outer line 3 .
  • the cutter section 13 sets the position of the left and right cutters 71A and 71B afresh for each article kind by controlling the lift motor 64 and horizontal drive motor 67 according to an instruction of the control CPU (i.e., instruction for setting the height and width of the top of box 1 ) corresponding to the pertinent article kind. That is, the setting position of the left and right cutters 71A and 71B are fixed for like cardboard boxes 1 .
  • the cutter units 13 i.e., 13A and 13B ) cut a plurality of cardboard boxes 1 successively while the boxes 1 are conveyed as a train on the conveyor 51 or 52 .
  • This embodiment has the following effects.

Claims (6)

  1. Verfahren zum Schneiden einer Pappkartonschachtel (1) unter Verwendung einer Schneideinrichtung (82,91) mit einer Schneidzone, gekennzeichnet durch Positionieren der Schneidzone der Schneideinrichtung (82,91) in einem Bereich, der sich ausgehend von einer äußeren Lage (3) einer Pappkartonseitenwand, welche benachbart der zu öffnenden Seitenwand ist, zu einer inneren Lage (4) der Pappkartonseitenwand erstreckt und zwischen diesen Teilen der Pappkartonschachtel (1) begrenzt ist, und Schneiden einer äußeren Lage (3) der zu öffnenden Seite und einer Faltungslinie (4A), welche an einem Pappkartonkantenabschnitt durch Falten der inneren Lage (4), sich in die Dicke des Pappkartons (2) erstreckend auf der Rückseite der äußeren Lage (3) entlang der Pappkartonkante (1A) ausgebildet ist.
  2. Gerät zum Schneiden einer Pappkartonschachtel (1) mit einer Schneideinrichtung (82,91), die eine Schneidzone und eine Transporteinrichtung (51,53) zum Transportieren der Pappkartonschachtel (1) aufweist, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Schneidenrichtung (82,91) an einer Führungseinrichtung (81) zur Führung der oberen Pappkartonecke (1A) der Pappkartonschachtel (1) in einer Schachteltransportrichtung gelagert ist, und daß die Schneidzone der Schneideinrichtung (82,91) derart angeordnet ist, daß während des Gebrauchs diese in einem Bereich der sich ausgehend von einer äußeren Lage (3) einer Pappkartonseitenwand, welche benachbart der zu öffnenden Seitenwand ist, zu einer inneren Lage (4) der Pappkartonseitenwand erstreckt und zwischen diesen Teilen der Pappkartonschachtel (1) begrenzt ist zum Schneiden einer äußeren Lage (3) der zu öffnenden Seite und einer Faltungslinie (4A), welche an einem Pappkartonkantenabschnitt durch Falten der inneren Lage (4), die sich in die Dicke des Pappkartons (2) erstreckend auf der Rückseite der äußeren Lage (3) entlang der Pappkartonkante (1A) ausgebildet ist.
  3. Vorrichtung zum Schneiden und Öffnen von Pappkartonschachteln umfassend eine erste Schneideinheit (13A), die an einer ersten Transporteinrichtung (51) angeordnet ist zum Schneiden eines Eckabschnitts der Pappkartonschachtel (1) entlang einer Kante (1A) derselben, die sich in die Schachteltransportrichtung erstreckt, eine Transportrichtungsänderungseinheit (13C), die an der Ausgangsseite der ersten Transporteinheit (51) vorgesehen ist und eine 90° Drehung in der horizontalen Ebene der Richtung des Transports der Pappkartonschachtel (1) veranlaßt, eine zweite Schneideinheit (13B), die an einer zweiten Transporteinrichtung (53) angeordnet ist, welche an der Ausgangs-seite der Transportrichtungsänderungseinheit (13C) vorgesehen ist, zum Schneiden eines Eckabschnitts der Pappkartonschachtel (1), die aus derTransportrichtungsänderungseinheit (13C) transportiert ist entlang einer Kante, die sich in der neuen Schachteltransportrichtung erstreckt, wobei die erste und zweite Schneideinheit (13A,13B) jeweils ein Gerät zum Schneiden einer Pappkartonschachtel gemäß Anspruch 2 beinhaltet.
  4. Vorrichtung zum Schneiden und Öffnen von Pappkartonschachteln gemäß Anspruch 3, wobei die Führungseinrichtung (81) eine Eckenführung (81A) aufweist, welche entlang der Schachteltransportrichtung angeordnet ist, die Eckenführung (81A) dient der Aufnahme der Pappkartonschachtel (1), die auf der ersten und zweiten Transporteinrichtung (51,53) transportiert wird in kraftschlüssigem Kontakt mit den Kanten (1A) der Oberseite der Pappkartonschachtel (1), um die Pappkartonschachtel (1) in einer vorgegebenen Richtung der Schneidoperation zu führen, die Eckenführung (81A) weist einen Einlaßführungsabschnitt (81B) auf, welcher eine Öffnung definiert zur sanften Führung der Pappkartonschachtel (1), die in die Eckführung (81A) eingeführt wird.
  5. Vorrichtung zum Schneiden und Öffnen von Pappkartonschachteln gemäß Anspruch 3, wobei die Scheindeinrichtung eine Laserschneideinrichtung ist.
  6. Vorrichtung zum zum Schneiden und Öffnen von Pappkartonschachteln gemäß Anspruch 3, wobei die Schneideinrichtung ein rotierendes Messer ist.
