Definitions
- the invention relates to a washing installation for laundry, in particular for gravel with ablammable constituents, with a trough through which the laundry and water preferably pass in countercurrent, with a washing shaft arranged in the longitudinal axis of the trough, driven by rotation, and with washing tools attached to it have a half-open profile with a profile opening pointing forward in the direction of rotation of the washing shaft and enclose a wedge angle of less than 90 ° with the circumference of the trough in the direction of rotation of the washing shaft.
- Such a washing system is known from EP-A-0 351 607. It has washing tools attached tangentially to the washing shaft, which enclose a small acute wedge angle with the circumference of the trough.
- the washing tools exert a high pressure in the circumferential direction on the items to be washed, in that the latter is between the profile of the washing tools and which is half-open in the direction of rotation the trough wall is wedged and crushed.
- the trough firms up in operation i.e. a clay and / or clay tank and gravel pressed into the trough wall around the washing shaft and washing tools are formed, between which and the washing tools the laundry is wedged and a high pressure build-up in Circumferential direction.
- the object of the invention is to provide a washing installation of the type mentioned at the outset, which is distinguished by a highly modular structure with washing tools which are of identical construction, in particular also for different installation sizes, and which enables structural adaptation to the composition of the respective wash ware and the progress of purity in the washing installation, reduces wear on washing tools and optimizes washing performance.
- the washing system which solves this problem is characterized by a kit which can be attached to the washing shaft with washing elements which are structurally identical and have washing tools of identical construction, the wedge angle of which varies at least in part with the trough circumference.
- washing tools that enclose a small wedge angle with the trough circumference have a strong wedge effect. They create a high pressure build-up and have a strong squeezing, grinding and dissolving effect on the laundry. Accordingly, washing tools of this type are subject to considerable wear and tear and require a high driving power of the washing shaft.
- Washing tools that enclose a larger wedge angle with the trough circumference have a smaller wedge effect. Accordingly, they are less effective for cleaning, but they are also less subject to wear, and they require a lower drive power of the washing shaft.
- washing systems can be adapted to the washing capacity desired in each case to the composition of the items to be treated and optimized in terms of service life and power consumption. It is precisely from these optimization points of view that the progress of purity in the washing system can be taken into account by washing tools upstream in the direction of passage of the laundry small wedge angle and washing tools with a larger wedge angle downstream in the direction of passage of the laundry. The initially heavily soiled laundry becomes very intensive and the increasingly clean laundry is only processed to the required extent with the washing tools.
- the washing shaft is equipped, in transverse planes axially offset from one another, with washing tools each distributed uniformly over their circumference.
- the wedge angles of the washing tools in each transverse plane are preferably identical to one another, whereas the wedge angles of the washing tools are at least partially different from the transverse plane to the transverse plane.
- the washing tools have a trapezoidal profile that widens radially outward.
- the washing tools have a flat back plate of rectangular plan including the wedge angle with the circumference of the trough, and flat side walls which are attached to both sides at an obtuse angle and extend axially and radially outward.
- the outer edges of the side walls are preferably rounded in the circumferential direction.
- each washing tool is attached in the region of the rear side of its back plate facing away from the profile opening to a preferably central supporting plate which extends in the longitudinal direction of the profile and which is beveled in accordance with the wedge angle of the washing tool.
- a preferably central supporting plate which extends in the longitudinal direction of the profile and which is beveled in accordance with the wedge angle of the washing tool.
- the support plate preferably carries an intermediate plate on which the washing tool is seated and screwed with its back plate.
- the support plate also carries a wear protection plate, which is arranged radially on the inside of the washing tool and is preferably rectangular and further preferably corresponds in width to that of the back plate of the washing tool.
- the wear protection plate serves to protect the support plate from wear. It also has a stirring effect on the laundry.
- a support plate can equally be equipped with one or more washing tools and optionally one or more wear protection plates.
- the support plate is screwed to a mounting plate that is firmly connected to the washing shaft, preferably welded to it.
- EP-A 0 351 607 provides pairs of axially spaced mounting plates, both of which are welded to the washing shaft.
- a support plate with a washing tool on it is inserted between the mounting plates and screwed through to the mounting plates. This requires a very precise fit, because if the surface pressure is not present, the screw connection can knock out, form an elongated hole and the screw can shear off. It is therefore preferred according to the invention to clamp the support plate between a mounting plate welded to the washing shaft and a mounting ring loosely seated on the washing shaft. The latter can be thinner than the mounting plate.
- the mounting plate is regularly polygonal on the outside.
- the support plate is positively supported on a polygon side of the mounting plate.
- All washing elements 10 shown in the figures have a flat support plate 12, which in the variants according to FIGS. 1 to 3 each have a washing tool 14 with associated wear protection plate 16, in the variant according to FIG. 5 two washing tools 14 with associated wear protection plates 16 and in 6 carries three washing tools 14 with associated wear protection plates 16.
- the washing elements 10 are attached to a mounting plate 18 of a washing shaft 20 by means of their support plate 12.
- the washing shaft 20 is a circular cylindrical hollow shaft. It is provided with axially spaced flat mounting plates 18, which are in transverse planes the washing shaft 20 extend.
- the mounting plates 18 sit flush with their inner ring on the outer jacket of the washing shaft 20 and are welded to the washing shaft 20 here.
- the mounting plates 18 are regularly hexagonal on the radial outside. Each hexagon segment of the mounting plates 18 has a pair of symmetrically arranged bores 22 for the screw fastening of the support plates 12.
- a flat mounting ring 24 is associated with each mounting plate 18 and is loosely seated on the washing shaft 20 with its inner ring.
- the mounting rings 24 correspond to the mounting plates 18 in hexagon shape and size, but are thinner than these.
- the mounting rings 24 are drilled in accordance with the mounting plates 18.
- the support plates 12 of the washing elements 10 are also drilled accordingly and each have a pair of holes 26 in the variants according to FIGS. 1 to 3, two pairs of holes 26 in the variant according to FIG. 5 and three pairs in the variant according to FIG. 6 Bores 26, which are aligned in the mounting position with those of the mounting plates 18 and mounting rings 24.
- the support plates 12 are clamped between the mounting plates 18 and mounting rings 24 with the screws passing through the aligned bores 22, 26.
- the washing tools 14 of the washing elements 10 seated on the support plate 12 are of identical construction throughout. They have a profile body with a trapezoidal profile, the profile opening of which comes to lie at the front in the direction of rotation of the washing shaft 20.
- the profile body consists of a solid backing plate 28 with a rectangular plan, which forms a flat bottom 30 of the profile opening.
- flat side wall plates 32 start on both sides at an obtuse angle and have an approximately rectangular outline, which extend axially and radially outward from the back plate 28.
- the rear outer edges 34 of the side wall plates 32 in the direction of rotation are rounded in the circumferential direction.
- the washing tools 14 are attached radially on the outside to the support plates 12.
- the support plates 12 are chamfered here, and a flat intermediate plate 36 of rectangular plan is welded onto the chamfer, with which the back plate 28 of a washing tool 14 is screwed in flush contact.
- the support plate 12 lies in the longitudinal center plane of the washing tool profile 14, which is intercepted in the balance of forces.
- the wear protection plates 16 are attached to the washing tools 14 radially on the inside on the support plates 12.
- the wear protection plates 16 are flat plates of rectangular outline, the width of which corresponds to that of the back plate 28 of the washing tools 14.
- the wear protection plates 16 are welded onto the support plates 12, which lie in the longitudinal center plane of the wear protection plates 16 and intercept the wear protection plates 16 in the equilibrium of forces.
- the washing elements 10 according to FIGS. 1 to 3 differ in the size of the wedge angle that the bottom 30 of the washing tool profiles 14 in the direction of rotation at the front with the trough circumference of a washing system or the circumference of the trough during operation including the chamfering tank.
- the wedge angle is approximately 47.5 °
- Fig. 2 approximately 58 °
- Fig. 3 approximately 69 °.
- Two or three washing elements 10 according to FIGS. 1 to 3 evenly distributed over the circumference can be attached to the washing shaft 20.

Abstract
Description
- Fig. 1
- bis Fig. 3 Seitenansichten von Waschelementen mit baugleichen Waschwerkzeugen, die verschiedene Keilwinkel mit dem Trogumfang einer Waschanlage einschließen;
- Fig. 4
- die radiale Rückenansicht eines an der Waschwelle der Waschanlage angebrachten Waschelements;
- Fig. 5
