Abstract

L'hélice semi-immergée comprend un arbre d'hélice monté de manière que sa position par rapport à la coque puisse être réglée à la fois lorsque le bateau est au mouillage et lorsqu'il fait route. La forme des pales de l'hélice montée sur l'arbre est telle que lorsqu'elles pénètrent dans l'eau, le côté de poussée est à angle droit par rapport au plan longitudinal-vertical du bateau. Selon l'invention, le pas des pales de l'hélice peut varier par rapport au plan longitudinal-vertical du bateau et par rapport à son plan principal, ou par rapport aux deux simultanément, ce qui augmente la vitesse, la man÷uvrabilité, le rendement et la sécurité du bateau.
