Definitions
- the invention relates to a cabinet with at least one Drawer element that can be locked in the closed closed position with a locking mechanism arranged on the drawer, the one in the back wall area of the Drawer provided latch and an operating mechanism for the latch, and with one in the rear wall area Drawer bolt lock arranged on the cabinet construction, in which the latch engages in the closed position of the drawer.
- the drawer cabinets with Forced locking is found especially for cabinets in the mobile Use, e.g. for workshop trolleys, use. So far the drawers are held in the rear wall area with a latch, in a bolt lock provided on the cabinet construction intervenes. Due to the mobile use, the cabinet is subjected to large inertial forces that occur during acceleration and Braking the car may occur. This resulted in the previously known Cabinets sometimes break open the mechanism and flinging out the drawer and its contents.
- workshop trolleys are the drawers usually with relatively heavy objects loaded, so that a drawer detaching during a major damage to the interior of the workshop trolley can cause and endanger the driver.
- US-A-1 636 809 is a snap lock for locking known from drawers, tool boxes, chests or briefcases.
- the castle comprises two functioning in the vertical plane Locking hook that can be opened using a key be released from the locking profiles at the same time.
- two bars are used, the same time can be actuated by the actuating mechanism. Every bar contains a latch that fits into a mounted on the cabinet Bolt lock engages. When you close the drawer, it will positively locked, i.e. the locking lugs slide automatically into the Bolt locks and thus lock the drawer when inserted.
- the bars are preferably in in the form of toggle levers which are actuated by the operating mechanism, e.g. an operating rod, deflected in opposite directions become. The first ends of the bars are brought together and connected to the actuating mechanism while the second ends of the toggle levers have the latch.
- the Bolts are preferably in their closed position by a spring biased. They are preferably identical, which means that with a minimum of molding tools Can produce locking mechanism. Due to the elasticity the locking mechanism, e.g. by choosing an appropriate one elastic or slightly deformable material can be ensured be that both latches of the locking mechanism with heavy loads evenly into the bolt locks grab the load evenly on both bars works. This can eliminate small manufacturing tolerances become.
- the drawers with the double latch are preferably for heavy loads are provided.
- This allows drawers Exchange with one and two-bar system. If one of the bolts of the double bolt system according to the invention the same place as the bolt of a previously known single-bolt system is arranged, i.e. the place, the direction of movement and the shape of the latch are identical, then one Compatibility of the drawers with the two-bolt system to the already reach existing systems. This is particularly from Advantage if in addition to the new double locking systems conventional locking systems can be used.
- each bolt or are both bolts by means of one Bolt plate attached to the drawer.
- the locking plate can be produced as a stamped sheet metal part, which is a bent up Edge that has a corresponding perforation of the Bolt penetrates and thus forms the pivot bearing of the bolt. In this case, there is no need for a separate, more complex one Pin slide bearings can be provided for the bolt.
- the load in this case the bar is not only on the raised bearing edge of the locking plate, but also on the parallel to the rear wall of the drawer, against the edge which rests on the shoulder of the bolt in the closed position.
- the Shoulder delimits a wider or thicker section of the shoulder Latches inside the drawer against a narrower or thinner area of the latch which is directed through the back wall protrudes on the bolt lock.
- the shoulder doesn't necessarily have to rest against a raised edge of the locking plate, but can also rest directly on the back wall of the drawer.
- the invention has the raised edge of the locking plate a hole or groove made by a rod or Leaf spring is interspersed after the latch on the latch plate has been put on.
- the leaf spring lies next to this Grooving or perforation on two abutments one is provided on the locking plate and the other on the locking bar are.
- the locks of the cabinet are preferably vertical running U-profiles provided behind the drawer back walls are arranged and fixed to the back wall or one corresponding support structure of the cabinet are connected.
- the lateral legs of the U-profiles are perforated and these Perforations are penetrated by the latches of the bolts.
- Such a bolt lock is very stable because it works with both Thighs e.g. by spot welding or welding firmly to the Cabinet construction can be connected.
- the latch actuation mechanism is preferred formed by an axially movable rod, the bent one or cranked rear end in perforations at the first end both latches engage, whereas the front end of the operating rod is led to the drawer front and there one Actuating area, e.g. has a push button.
- the locking mechanism 10 shown is under the base plate 12 attached to a drawer.
- the locking mechanism 10 comprises an actuating rod 14 which by means of guide parts 16 is guided on the underside 12 of the drawer.
- the rear end of the operating rod 14 is in the direction of cranked or bent the drawer bottom 12 and engages in a perforation 18 on the first ends of two bars 20 are arranged.
- the bars are L-shaped Toggle lever are formed and are by means of locking plates 22, 24th held on the drawer bottom 12.
- the locking plates 22, 24 are stamped sheet metal parts that are connected to the drawer bottom by any conventional connection technology, such as welding, spot welding, Deform etc. are connected. Both bars 20 are identically trained and have one in the area of her knee Perforation 26, the 28 from a raised bearing edge Lock plates 22, 24 is interspersed.
- Bearing edge 28 and perforation 26 form the pivot bearing of the latch 20 on the latch plates 22, 24.
- both bars are cranked so that their ends lie approximately parallel one above the other, as a result of which the arranged there Perforations 18 for attaching the operating rod 14 are arranged concentrically.
- the bend Bars 30 are punched out, which serve as abutments for springs 32 serve, which enforce a perforation of the bearing edges 28 and supported on second abutments 34 of the locking plates are.
- the U-profiles are formed and connected to the cabinet rear wall 40.
- the U-profiles 38 have perforations in their lateral legs in which the locking lugs 36 in the closed position shown the latch engage.
- the locking plates also have a parallel to the drawer rear wall 42 trending, i.e. bent up by the locking plate 22, 24 Edge 44 against which one shoulder 46 of the latch 20 in the closed position shown.
- the shoulder 46 represents the transition between a broader within the Drawer located latch part and one through the rear wall 42 outwardly projecting narrower bolt part.
- the drawer is therefore in the closed position Load drawer supported by the load locking tabs 36 of the bolts located in the bolt locks 38 20 and by the shoulders 46 supported on the edges 44 Bolts 20 and the raised bearing edges 28.
- the shoulders 46 of the latch 20 can also be supported directly on the rear wall be, however, due to the tolerances when installing the locking plate in the drawer is less convenient.
- the whole, on the locking mechanism 10 load train is not solely by the pivot bearing 26, 28 of the bolt 20, but additionally intercepted by the shoulders 46 of the latch 20.
- This Construction is therefore particularly capable of being heavily filled Drawers in mobile, i.e. e.g. in vehicles Secure cabinets against sliding out. Most of all, this is important if the drawer with its opening and Closing direction is installed in the vehicle direction. Then act those that occur when braking and accelerating the vehicle Inertial forces of the drawer directly on the locking mechanism.
- the operating rod 14 has the front of the drawer 48 facing side an actuating surface 50 through which the drawer's positive locking can be released.
- Fig. 3 shows in a very impressive way how flat the other very stable and effective positive locking constructed can be. This figure shows very well the bent edges 44 on which the shoulder 46 of the Support latch 20 in the closed position.
