Abstract

Eine Metallhalogenid-Hochdruckentladungslampe enthält eine ionisierbare Füllung, bestehend aus mindestens einem Inertgas, Quecksilber, mindestens einem Halogen und folgenden Elementen zur Bildung von Halogeniden: Tl, Cs, Hf, wobei Hf ganz oder auch nur teilweise durch Zr ersetzt sein kann, sowie die Seltenen Erdmetalle (SE) Dy und/oder Gd. Das Molverhältnis zwischen dem Füllungsanteil von Hf bzw. Zr und der Summe der Füllungsanteile der SE beträgt mindestens 0,35, bevorzugt liegt es im Bereich zwischen 0,5 und 1,5. Die Molverhältnisse von Hf bzw. Zr bezüglich der Füllungskomponenten Tl und Cs betragen mindestens 0,65 bzw. mindestens 0,35. Für hohe Wandbelastungen liegen die entsprechenden Verhältnisse bevorzugt im Bereich zwischen 1 und 2,5 bzw. im Bereich zwischen 0,5 und 1.
