Definitions
- the invention relates to a roller shutter rod, consisting of a deflected to the roller shutter width Hollow chamber profile with two main sections curved in the same direction, curved outwards, those at one end first towards each other and then towards each other bent outwards with the subsequent formation of a double-walled hook the end of which is bent toward the concave longitudinal section on the outside, the strip edges meet one another include, and at their other ends to form one towards the profile end open chamber, rounded at the base in a circular shape, for receiving the hook on next roller shutter bar are connected to each other, the substantially parallel to each other Side walls of the chamber by sharp bending back of the main profile sections are formed and the back bend on the one main section on the in the Chamber bent into the end of a double-walled counter hook for the hook of the next shutter rod is located.
- roller shutters which are composed of such roller shutter slats
- the invention has for its object a roller shutter rod of the initially described To create type that ensures with a large deck width that the wound Roller shutter curtain has a relatively small diameter.
- the hollow chamber profile made of metal consists.
- the hollow chamber profile consist of aluminum, steel or plastic can.
- the hollow chamber profiles made of metal are foamed with plastic.
- the counter hook is 25 ° to the vertical in the direction the chamber is arranged.
- the advantages achieved with the invention consist essentially in that with a large coverage a relatively small winding diameter of the roller shutter armor is given.
- Shaping a roller shutter bar requires less material (smaller sheet width), which is particularly noticeable when the roller shutter rod is out
- Aluminum tape is rolled.
- the wall can also be changed thanks to the new shape of the roller shutter slat of the hollow section profile (made of aluminum) can be chosen thinner with the same rigidity like in old times.
- the shoulder slope (inside of the profile) also became strong with the new profile enlarged, which prevents the neighboring profile from being caught when it is rolled up.
- This goal also serves to coordinate the outer width and the radius of curvature of the outer one Main section. Thanks to a coordinated hook handle inclination in relation to the chamber inclination when the roller shutter curtain is pushed together, there is absolute opacity; the upper hook shoulder is pulled against the drip nose of the neighboring profile lower hook shoulder against the inclined outer wall of the chamber.
- the hollow chamber profile 2 according to the invention is shown in an end view below Specification of the profile dimensions characteristic of the invention and their permissible Tolerances.
- the wall thickness 1 of the hollow chamber profile 2 can be less than in previously known Profiles can be selected: while in the invention the wall thickness 1 is approximately 0.36 mm the wall thickness for a comparable known profile 0.47 mm. That is especially then important if, as practiced on a large scale today, the hollow chamber profile made of rolled There is aluminum tape.
- the optimization of the dimensions of the hollow chamber profile 2 according to the invention also has Consequence that with aluminum in strip form for roll forming the hollow section 2 a lower Sheet width can be chosen than before, which in addition to the lower material thickness (Wall thickness 1) equals additional material savings.
- the hollow chamber profile 2 has a central cavity 12, at one end of which the hook 7 and at the other end an outwardly open chamber 9 with a counter hook 10 is arranged is.
- the central cavity 12 is located between an outside main section 4, whose radius of curvature is 59 mm and an internal main section 5, whose radius of curvature is 46 mm.
- the deck width 3 is 55.5 mm, which is an improvement over a conventional one Profile means where the cover width is 55 mm.
- Roller shutter curtain which is composed of profiles according to the invention: opposite one Roller shutter armor from a comparable known profile with a given height of the armor (2500 mm) there is a minus when using the hollow chamber profile 2 according to the invention of approximately 20 mm of the rolled-up roller shutter armor, which is a considerable reduction in practice means.
- the distance between the main sections 4 and 5 is 5.6 mm at the narrowest point (6).
- the hook 7 has a length of 8.35 mm and an outer width at the hook head of 4.34 mm and is with its straight shaft in relation to the longitudinal extension 8 by 3 ° outer main section 4 inclined.
- the chamber 9 has a width of 4.8 mm and a length, measured between the side walls from the back bend of the outer main section 4 to the chamber bottom, of 9 mm and the counter hook 10 is 6 ° in the direction of the longitudinal extent 8 of the outer main section 4 inclined.
- the counter hook 10 be arranged at 25 ° to the vertical in the direction of the chamber 9.
- the profile height 11 of the hollow profile 2 is 13.5 mm.
- Optimizing the dimensions of a hollow chamber profile 2 according to the invention leads to the stated advantages, which also includes the usual cracking when winding up of the roller shutter curtain, which is inserted by inserting the drip nose into the space between two Adjacent profiles are formed, when using the profile according to the invention is omitted.
