Definitions
- the invention relates to a tobacco cartridge according to the preamble of claim 1 and their use for in-house production of Cigarettes by the consumer.
- a tobacco product is known from DE 34 07 461 C1, which from a pre-portioned stock of tobacco, for smoking like pods surrounded by cigarette paper.
- the tobacco supply is the more dimensionally stable, the tobacco filling of the finished cigarette more adapted and as such not smokable, but complete Tobacco strand made of smokable material. He can be used to manufacture filterless or filter cigarettes by the consumer in a pre-made cigarette paper tube be introduced.
- the used tobacco cartridge exists here from a homogeneous tobacco core and a dimensional stability ensuring wrapping. Because of the high air permeability the tobacco cartridge cannot be wrapped as such be smoked.
- the coaxial filter cigarette is a cigarette with a Strand part comprising an inner core from a largely residue-free smoldering material, especially tobacco material, a covering for the inner core, one for the inner core or its wrapping coaxially surrounding outer casing made of a tobacco and / or non-tobacco material and an envelope for the outer jacket.
- the cigarette also has a filter part a filter core, an airtight covering for the Filter core, a filter jacket and an envelope for the filter jacket on.
- the zone of the main heat source is located itself in the inner core of the strand part, while the zone, in which the substantial portion of the smoker's mouth generated aerosol is generated in the outer jacket of the strand part located.
- the filter section reduces the combustion gases as well as smoke particles largely.
- the coaxial cigarette described in DE 37 43 597 C1 has also a ventilated coaxial filter. This is also used for air admixture.
- the packing density of a conventional tobacco cartridge is approx. 230 mg / cm 3 .
- a packing density of 140 mg / cm 3 to 200 mg / cm 3 can be selected for the outer jacket of the tobacco cartridge constructed coaxially according to the invention.
- the range from which the packing density for the outer jacket is selected is preferably 150 mg / cm 3 to 180 mg / cm 3 .
- a value of 160 mg / cm 3 for the packing density of the outer casing is particularly advantageous.
- the inner core preferably has a packing density between 220 mg / cm 3 and 300 mg / cm 3 .
- the range from 230 mg / cm 3 to 260 mg / cm 3 is particularly preferred.
- the packing density of the inner core is advantageously 250 mg / cm 3 .
- the filling capacity of the tobacco used should be 3.5 cm 3 / g to 5.5 cm 3 / g.
- the range 4.0 cm 3 / g to 4.5 cm 3 / g for the filling capacity of the tobacco is preferred.
- the filling capacity of the tobacco is advantageously 4.2 cm 3 / g.
- Tobacco with a lower filling capacity than for the inner core can also be selected for the outer casing of the coaxially constructed tobacco rod. This also ensures the higher compressibility of the tobacco cartridge. This means that the product developer has a further design or equipment option for the tobacco cartridge, since a not so low packing density of the outer jacket means that further taste variations can be achieved.
- the filling capacity of the outer jacket is preferably 3.5 cm 3 / g to 4.2 cm 3 / g, in particular 3.8 cm 3 / g.
- the filling capacity of the inner core is advantageously in the range 4.5 cm 3 / g to 5.5 cm 3 / g, in particular 5.0 cm 3 / g.
- a also coaxial filter element can be used, which also has an inner core, a covering for the inner core, an outer jacket, as well as a covering for the outer jacket having.
- This allows for a further variation in flavor of tobacco smoke can be achieved.
- filter elements on the tobacco cartridge advantageous variants. So between the tobacco cartridge and a mixing space is provided for the filter element in which the tobacco smoke from the inner core and outer shell can mix before it passes through the filter element Consumers.
- the filter is advantageously as Multiple filter made up of coaxial filter elements and standard filter elements such as cellulose acetate. It can also have one or more within the multiple filter Chambers are preferably provided in the axial direction, so that possible variations through the different filters created for the consumer.
- the chambers can be empty or with granular granules or activated carbon be filled.
- the filter elements can be attached directly to the tobacco cartridge be. However, it is also possible to insert the filter elements into the Integrate sleeve.
- the tobacco cartridge 10 has a tobacco rod 21 with an inner core 27 made of a first tobacco mixture, one stabilizing sheath 28 for the inner core 27 made of paper or in particular from tobacco foil, an outer jacket 29 a second tobacco mixture and a casing 23 made of highly porous or heavily perforated cigarette paper or tobacco foil for the outer jacket 29.
- the perforations for the Envelope 23 are indicated in FIG. 1 by reference number 14.
- the envelope 23 can also be inherently porous, e.g. in the form of a teabag paper.
- a filter 22 can be attached to the tobacco rod 21 of the tobacco cartridge 10 be set as in the embodiment of FIG. 2
- Coaxial filter is constructed, so an inner core 227, one Enclosure 228 for the inner core 227, an outer jacket 229 and has an envelope for the outer jacket 229; as wrapping for the outer jacket 229 of the filter 22 is used in the example Outer jacket covering 23 of tobacco rod 21, i.e. she met here a double function.
- the filling capacity of the tobacco mixture is approximately 4.2 cm 3 / g while the packing density of the inner core 27 is approximately 250 mg / cm 3 and that of the outer casing 29 is approximately 160 mg / cm 3 .
- Tobacco cartridge 10 Between the tobacco rod 21 and the filter 22 attached Tobacco cartridge 10 has a mixing space 221 (see FIG. 2).
- the tobacco rod 21 of the tobacco cartridge 10 is completely out built up by consumable ingredients due to smoking the high air permeability of the envelope 23 only after Introducing the opening 16 one in length and diameter matching cigarette paper sleeve 11 (see Fig. 1) or after additional wrapping with a matching length and width Cigarette paper papers are consumable by the consumer.
- the perforations 14 in the envelope 23 should at least be located in the area of the tobacco cartridge 10, the tobacco rod 21 surrounds; it is also possible to make such perforations 14 to be additionally provided in the casing 23 of the filter part 22, if appropriately perforated or porous zones in the mouth Area of the sleeve 11 with the perforations in the Sheathing of the filter part 22 should cooperate.
- the Tobacco cartridge 10 only the tobacco rod 21, so no filter 22 included; if such a tobacco cartridge as a filter cigarette a cigarette paper sleeve 11 must be used can be used with an integrated filter 12, as in Fig. 1 is indicated.
- This filter 12 of the cigarette paper tube 10 can also be used be coaxial, ventilated filter.
- the tobacco cartridge there is 10 on the tobacco cartridge at least one detachable, smoke-impermeable blocking element 401 on at least one of the two end faces of the tobacco cartridge 10 provided.
- This locking element 401 is perforated 402 detachable in the circumferential direction and serves e.g. as a backup, to prevent children from smoking.
- the wrapping can be used to reproduce the taste impressions of the inner core 28 may be acted upon by substances that affect the aroma and / or affect the burn. Such substances are in the Cigarette industry used as usual additives and therefore not explained in more detail.
- the tobacco cartridge 10 is of an additional one outer, aroma and moisture preservation, the whole Surrounding tobacco cartridge 10 wrapping 24. This can be removed by the consumer before use.
- the wrapping or packaging 24 is made of plastic, Cardboard or paper.
- the tobacco cartridge 10 in Regarding the tobacco-receiving space of the cigarette paper tube 11 Excess length, so that only after appropriate division of the Tobacco cartridge 10 by the consumer in exact length Tobacco cartridge sections arise.
- the length of the tobacco cartridge 10 is an integer multiple the length of the receiving space of a cigarette paper tube 11, more preferably 2 or 3 times this length.
- the mixing space 221 between the tobacco rod 21 and the filter 22 the tobacco cartridge 10 in the embodiment according to FIG. 2 is used in addition, that of the two tobacco mixture parts in a targeted manner 27 and 29 coming smoke streams to mix with each other and thereby generate targeted taste impressions.
- the air permeability of the casing 28 is expedient for the inner core 27 of the tobacco rod is lower than the air permeability the envelope 23 of the outer casing 29, whereby there is another design parameter.
- Cigarette papers are used in which the tobacco cartridge 10 is wrapped, as for the "Self-rolling of cigarettes" is known.
