Definitions
- the present invention relates to a fence structure formed of fence elements intended to be assembled on site to make a separation between a first and a second part of a field, for example a separation around a sports field between the field itself and its surroundings.
- a barrier is also known for containing crowds, described in document GB-A-2 228 510.
- the barrier is held by a horizontal metal plate resting on the ground along the first side of the barrier, and by a horizontal frame resting on the ground along the second side of the barrier to which it is connected by reinforcing slashes.
- Such a structure does not allow easy and safe access by the public or the players to the barrier face provided with the horizontal frame and the reinforcing slashes.
- the problem proposed by the present invention is to design a new fence structure which can be easily moved, easily transportable, and which, for this, can be simply placed on the ground without requiring seals or foundations, while presenting in it - even sufficient stability to respect the security requirements, and in particular to withstand the tilting forces applied to the fence both by the weather and by users.
- the stability of the fence must be obtained without unnecessarily increasing the size of the fence itself, and in particular without reducing the useful space of the sports field bordering a first side of such a fence. , and without preventing free movement of users across the fence.
- the invention takes advantage of these observations to propose a new fence structure allowing these uses up to the level of the vertical fence wall, while allowing sufficient self-stability without seals or foundations.
- the second rigid structural part develops in a half-plane from the base of the first structural part.
- This embodiment is suitable for closing a sports field: the fence elements are then placed so that the second rigid structural part placed on the ground is oriented towards the outside of the sports field, spectators being able to walk on the upper surface of removable ballast elements.
- these same fence elements are oriented so that the second rigid structural part placed on the ground is directed towards the interior of the meeting area, the upper face of the removable elements of ballasting constituting a rigid flat surface on which seats can be placed, the back of which may consist of the vertical enclosure wall.
- Another possibility is to provide a second rigid part of the structure in two zones extending respectively on either side of the base of the first part of the structure.
- the sleepers have a square section, dimensioned so that their upper faces are substantially flush with the upper face of the removable ballast elements, so as to constitute a sidewalk or wandering area with regular upper surface.
- the uprights are metal tubes of round section, capped at their upper end, welded at their lower end to the upper face of the respective crosspiece.
- a round section promotes safety, preventing users from being injured in an impact against the vertical fence wall.
- a fence element 1,2 or 3 is intended to form a fence between a first part of the terrain, illustrated by arrow 4, and a second part of the terrain illustrated by arrow 5.
- the closing element comprises a first rigid part 6 of structure, forming a wall intended to be erected, for example vertically, to separate the first part of ground 4 and the second part of ground 5.
- the closing element comprises a second rigid part 7 of structure, integral with the first part 6 of structure and developing in a half-plane generally perpendicular from the base 8 of the first part 6 of structure.
- This second rigid part 7 of structure is intended to rest on the ground.
- Removable ballast elements 9 are placed in abutment on the second rigid part 7 of structure which itself rests on the ground.
- the removable ballasting elements 9 oppose the tilting of the closing element 1-3 to give it self-stability.
- the upper faces 10 of the removable ballasting elements 9 of the successive closing elements form a generally flat surface on which the users can circulate.
- the second structural part 7 comprises a rigid frame 11 formed of a peripheral profile comprising a vertical peripheral wing 12 and a lower horizontal wing 13 oriented towards the inside of the frame.
- the rigid frame 11 has for example a rectangular outline, and its two transverse sides 14 and 15 are secured externally to two respective crosspieces 16 and 17.
- the removable ballasting elements 9 are embedded in the frame 11, bearing on the horizontal wing 13 of the frame 11 and bordered by the vertical wing 12 of the frame 11.
- each removable ballasting element 9 advantageously has a weight less than the admissible limit for manual movement, for example a weight less than 80 kilograms.
- the removable ballast elements 9 are made for example of molded reinforced concrete, and can be prefabricated.
- Another solution is to pour a concrete plate on site in the frame 11 by providing a lower formwork plate.
- the ballast element thus formed can be subsequently moved using a crane or another handling device.
- the mass of the ballasting elements 9 is chosen so as to oppose any tilting of the fence when it is subjected to a horizontal stress lower than a determined stress value, corresponding for example to the thrust of two people , or the weight of two people attached to the first rigid part 6 of the structure.
- crossmembers such as the crossmembers 16 and 17 preferably have a square section, and are dimensioned so that their upper face such as the upper face 18 of the crossmember 17 is substantially flush with the upper face 10 of the removable ballasting elements. 9 when these are placed in the rigid frame 11.
- the crosspieces 16 and 17 are secured to two respective uprights 19 and 20.
- the uprights 19 and 20 are metal tubes of round section, capped at their respective upper ends 21 and 22, and welded at their lower ends to the upper face of the respective crosspiece 16 or 17.
- the rigid frame 11 is for example fixed to the respective crosspieces 16 and 17 by bolting, the bolt passing through respective holes shown in the figures.
- Appropriate reservations such as reservation 23 are provided in the removable ballast elements 9 for the passage of the assembly bolts of the crosspieces to the rigid frame.
- Panels such as the rectangular panel 24 are fixed between the successive uprights such as the uprights 19 and 20.
- the fixing of the panels is preferably carried out by bolting in holes made in respective fixing lugs projecting laterally from the uprights and edges vertical panels.
- a fixing is provided by bolting in the respective fixing lugs 25 of the upright 20 and 26 of the left vertical edge of the panel 24.
- the fence is of relatively reduced height. This embodiment is suitable for a height of approximately 120 centimeters.
- the fence element can then comprise a single rectangular panel 24, and the uprights 19 and 20 are simply welded to the respective crosspieces 16 and 17.
- the fence height is substantially double the height of the embodiment of Figure 1, and the uprights 19 and 20 receive two panels 24 and 124, for example identical.
- the embodiment of FIG. 3 is suitable for barriers of greater height, the total height being substantially three times the height of the barrier of the embodiment of FIG. 1.
- the uprights 19 and 20 receive three panels 24, 124 and 224 arranged one above the other.
- the uprights 19 and 20 are associated with stiffening struts 27 and 28 connecting an elevated area of the respective upright 19 or 20 to the end area of the corresponding cross member 16 or 17.
- the bolting of the panels is preferably ensured by threaded rods such as the rod 29, passing through the respective holes 30 and 31 formed in the respective tabs 25 of the upright 20 and 26 of the frame 24.
- threaded rods such as the rod 29, passing through the respective holes 30 and 31 formed in the respective tabs 25 of the upright 20 and 26 of the frame 24.
- threaded blind caps 32 and 33 are screwed, the end wall 34 of which is shaped to be actuated in rotation by a special tool, thus preventing untimely unscrewing by traditional tools.
- the end face 34 are housed two or more holes into which engage corresponding lugs of a screwing tool.
- FIG. 7 illustrates, in top view, a particular form of removable ballasting element.
- the assembly constitutes a circular sector in a quarter circle, formed by two removable ballasting elements 35 and 36.
- Figure 4 is a perspective view showing an assembly of fence elements according to the invention to form the fence area close to the goals of a sports field.
- the central assembly 50 comprises a upper panel 51, in alignment with the panels of the lateral elements 3 and 103, a central upright 52 receding and associated with a cross-member 53 behind the area occupied by the second rigid structural parts of the closing elements 3 and 103.
- the cross-member 53 is associated with two rigid frames 54 and 55, disposed on either side of the central crosspiece 53, and partially bordering the rear sides of the rigid frames of lateral elements 3 and 103.
- Connection frames in quarter-circle sector 56 and 57 extend the respective rectangular rigid frames 54 and 55, and provide an enlarged surface in the lateral zones, a surface allowing for example the overturning of disabled wheelchairs.
- the central upright 52 carries a bracket 58 whose end carries a basketball hoop 59.
- the upper panel 51 is fixed to the two adjacent uprights of the side elements 3 and 103.
- the space below the upper panel 51 constitutes the opening of the goals.
- the two adjacent uprights of the lateral elements 3 and 103 are covered by respective secondary uprights 61 and 60 of round section, devoid of hooking lugs on the visible surface.
- Removable ballast elements are supported on all the rigid frames, the figure representing some only of the elements being assembled.
- the connection frames receive elements 35 and 36 in a circular sector shown in FIG. 7.
- FIG. 10 illustrates the panel 24 in an embodiment in which the panel comprises a peripheral frame 70 of circular section steel tube on which is welded a welded mesh 71 with square mesh, made for example of wire of equal diameter about 5 millimeters.
- a panel can have a length of 2.40 meters and a height of about 1 meter.
- FIG. 11 illustrates a second embodiment of the panel 24, in which the welded mesh is replaced by wooden beams 72, integral with the metal frame 70.
- FIG. 12 illustrates another embodiment in which the frame is a welded mesh 73.
- FIG. 8 illustrates, in top view, a sports field surrounded by a fence according to the invention.
- the fence elements are arranged all around the sports ground 80, the uprights such as the upright 81 being adjacent to the sports ground, the frames and the removable ballast elements such as the element 82 being offset towards the outside of the field sport.
- the ballasting elements 82 thus constitute a flat external peripheral zone over which the users.
- the end zones 83 and 84 are constituted for example as shown in FIG. 4. It is advantageously possible to provide a penetration baffle 85, consisting of a fence element arranged in an orientation opposite to the adjacent elements, that is to say say with the removable ballast elements and the rigid frames oriented towards the inside of the sports field, the fence element being however offset towards the outside as shown in the figure.
- Figure 9 illustrates a mode of use of the fence elements according to the invention for the realization of a meeting area.
- Several closing elements similar to that of the embodiment of FIG. 1 are arranged one after the other, to form an open circle, the ballasting elements 9 being oriented towards the inside of the circle.
- Seats 90 can be arranged on the ballast elements, the panels such as the panel 24 constituting a backrest for the seats.
- FIG. 13 illustrates an embodiment of fence elements in which the second rigid part 7 of structure comprises two zones of second rigid part 7 of structure which develop respectively in one and the other of the half-planes on the part and other of the base 8 of the first rigid part 6 of structure.
- Each second rigid part 7 of structural area has a structure similar to that of the second rigid structural part of the embodiments of FIGS. 1 to 3. It thus comprises a frame 11, removable ballasting elements 9, cross members 16, 17 secured to the uprights 19, 20.
