Description

La présente invention est relative à un emballage d'une série de produits, du type comprenant une enveloppe souple, notamment de forme générale allongée, comportant une feuille pliée et scellée.
Des emballages connus de ce type sont destinés notamment à des produits préemballés qui peuvent être par exemple des produits alimentaires tels que des tablettes de gomme à mâcher des plaquettes de fromage des biscuits ou des barres de chocolat, ou encore des cartes à puce L'enveloppe contient ces produits et peut être constituée par une feuille roulée ou pliée, par exemple en papier ou en un complexe réalisé, par exemple, à partir de l'association d'un film plastique, de papier et d'aluminium (ou de la combinaison de deux d'entre eux); cette feuille entoure et enveloppe alors un empilement desdits produits pour former un cylindre maintenu par collage d'un bord longitudinal de la feuille sur le bord longitudinal opposé, les extrémités du cylindre sont maintenues en position repliées par scellement, par exemple par collage, pour former l'une le fond, l'autre le couvercle de l'enveloppe.
Pour ouvrir un emballage, on procède par exemple par arrachement et dépliage du couvercle de l'enveloppe; lorsqu'une bande de déchirure est prévue à cet effet à proximité du couvercle sur une circonférence du cylindre de l'enveloppe, on procède de préférence par déchirement de cette bande et enlèvement total et définitif du couvercle.
Un tel emballage est très économique pour des produits de consommation courante et très avantageux puisqu'il permet de les conserver groupés dans l'enveloppe et disponibles à tout instant pour la distribution et la consommation.
Cependant, dès que l'enveloppe d'un emballage de ce type a été ouverte, elle n'est plus refermable avec sécurité et/ou elle est définitivement dépourvue d'un couvercle; elle risque donc à tout moment de laisser échapper les produits restants qu'elle contient, ce qui représente un grave inconvénient. Ceci est particulièrement gênant lorsque l'emballage dont l'enveloppe est déjà ouverte est laissée dans la poche d'un vêtement, dans un sac ou une valise, ou encore dans la boíte à gants d'un véhicule. Les produits restants qu'elle contient peuvent alors s'y retrouver dispersés avec d'autres objets.
L'invention a pour but de préserver l'intégrité du contenu de l'enveloppe de l'emballage après ouverture de celle-ci, y compris après prélèvement d'un ou plusieurs produits de l'enveloppe ouverte, tout en conservant le caractère économique et avantageux de ce type d'emballage.
A cet effet, l'invention a pour objet un emballage selon la revendication 1. Des modes particuliers de réalisation de l'invention sont définis dans les revendications 2 à 7.
L'invention a encore pour objet des procédés d'emballage tels que définis aux revendications 8 et 10. Des modes particuliers de mise en oeuvre de l'invention sont définis dans les revendications 9 et 11.
L'invention sera mieux comprise à la lecture de la description qui va suivre, donnée à titre d'exemple et en référence aux dessins annexés, sur lesquels :
  • la Figure 1 est une vue en perspective d'un emballage selon l'invention dont l'enveloppe est fermée;
  • la Figure 2 est une vue en perspective de cet emballage plein et avec son enveloppe ouverte;
  • la Figure 3 est une vue en coupe longitudinale du même emballage après prélèvement d'une partie des produits;
  • la Figure 4 est une vue partielle à échelle agrandie, en coupe longitudinale à proximité du fond de l'enveloppe de l'emballage; et
  • les Figures 5 à 8 illustrent des étapes d'un procédé de fabrication d'un tel emballage.
L'emballage représenté aux Figures 1 à 4 comprend une enveloppe souple 1 qui contient des produits allongés 2 empilés.
Les produits 2 peuvent être par exemple des produits alimentaires préemballés, tels que des tablettes de gomme à mâcher, des plaquettes de fromage, des biscuits ou des barres de chocolat, ou encore d'autres produits éventuellement pré-emballés tels que des cartes à puce.
L'enveloppe souple 1 comprend un corps 3 de forme générale cylindrique à base rectangulaire fermé à ses deux extrémités, l'une constituant le fond 4, l'autre constituant le couvercle 5, par pliage et collage des extrémités du corps 3 sur elles-mêmes. Le corps 3 comporte également une bande de déchirure 6 sur sa circonférence, à proximité du couvercle 5.
Pour la consommation des produits, on procède à l'ouverture de l'enveloppe 1 par déchirement de la bande 6 le long de la circonférence du corps 3 et enlèvement du couvercle 5 et d'une portion attenante du corps 3. Cette opération dégage une des extrémités 2A des produits 2 contenus par l'enveloppe, comme représenté à la Figure 2. L'enveloppe 1 ainsi ouverte ne peut plus être refermée.
Comme indiqué sur la Figure 3, l'emballage comporte encore un moyen d'adhérence provisoire, ici un film 7 de colle à faible pouvoir d'adhérence appliqué sur le fond 4 de l'enveloppe 1, qui relie de façon séparable ce fond 4 à l'extrémité adjacente 2B de chaque produit 2 contenu dans l'enveloppe La colle peut être par exemple du type thermofusible faible.
Ainsi, lorsque l'enveloppe 1 est ouverte, les produits 2 restent solidaires de l'enveloppe ouverte 1, parce qu'ils sont retenus par leurs extrémités 28 contre le fond 4 de l'enveloppe par le film de colle 7 Malgré l'ouverture irréversible de l'enveloppe, les produits contenus ne peuvent donc pas se disperser au dehors. Pour la consommation des produits contenus dans l'enveloppe ouverte, il suffit d'extraire chaque produit de l'enveloppe par une traction suffisante pour désolidariser son extrémité 2B du fond 4. L'emballage conserve ainsi toutes ses propriétés de réunion et de protection des produits.
On va maintenant décrire, en regard des Figures 5 à 8, un procédé de fabrication de l'emballage 1.
A partir d'un rouleau d'une bande 8 préencollée en continu avec la colle 7 sur sa face intérieure le long d'une zone marginale 8B, représenté à la Figure 5, on fixe une bande de déchirure 6 à proximité du bord 8A opposé à la zone 8B, puis on découpe des feuilles 9 sur la face intérieure de chacune desquelles on dépose, en dehors de la zone encollée, un empilement de produits 2, comme représenté à la Figure 6. La bande 8 porte également sur sa face extérieure des zones préencollées (non représentées) servant à fermer l'emballage de façon classique. Pour ces zones, on utilise par exemple une colle thermoréactivable forte.
La bande 8 peut être en papier ou en matériau complexe, par exemple constitué d'un film de matière plastique, d'un film de papier imprimé et d'un film aluminium, superposés et collés ensemble. La largeur de la bande 8 est supérieure à la longueur des produits à emballer.
On effectue ensuite le pliage de la feuille 9 selon une ébauche tubulaire du corps 3, comme indiqué à la Figure 7, et on colle l'un sur l'autre les bords de découpe de la feuille, ce qui ferme l'ébauche le long d'une génératrice; on replie ensuite sur elles-mêmes les zones marginales 8A et 8B de la feuille, qui constituent maintenant les extrémités du corps cylindrique 3, respectivement le couvercle 5 et le fond 4 comme indiqué à la Figure 8. Pendant ce pliage, la zone encollée 8B vient au contact de l'extrémité correspondante 2B de chacun des produits 2.
On effectue ensuite, par un dispositif non représenté de dissipation de chaleur aux deux extrémités de l'enveloppe, l'activation simultanée de la colle thermoréactivable forte et du film de colle thermoréactivable faible du bord de feuille 8B; ceci provoque simultanément le scellement des deux extrémités de l'enveloppe et l'adhérence provisoire des extrémités 2B des produits au fond 4 de l'enveloppe.
Une variante du même procédé consiste à utiliser pour l'enduction intérieure, en 8B, de la bande 8, une colle à froid activable par pression. La compression de l'enveloppe 1 par ses deux extrémités qui accompagne le scellement précité assure alors simultanément l'activation du film de colle à froid du bord de feuille 8B et provoque l'adhérence provisoire des extrémités 2B des produits sur le fond 4 de l'enveloppe.
En variante, l'encollage préalable de la bande 8 au moyen d'une colle à faible adhérence peut être réalisé de manière différente. Ainsi, l'enduction peut être effectuée en discontinu, en interrompant à intervalles prédéterminés l'encollage de la zone 8B ou en n'encollant que des emplacements prérepérés de cette zone 8B qui constitueront le fond de l'enveloppe après pliage. Dans ce cas, l'encollage peut, sur certaines chaínes de conditionnement, être réalisé en bandes transversales à la direction d'avance des feuilles 9. L'enduction peut également être réalisée tout le long de la zone 8B, mais sous forme de plusieurs lignes parallèles, éventuellement pointillées, ou avec un motif répétitif tel que des lignes obliques parallèles entre elles.
En variante également, on peut remplacer la bande 7 par un encollage préalable, par le même type de colle faible, de l'extrémité adjacente 2B des produits 2.
En variante encore, l'adhérence provisoire des produits 2 sur le fond de l'enveloppe peut s'obtenir par interposition d'un élément adhésif double face.

Claims (11)

  1. Emballage d'une série de produits (2), du type comprenant une enveloppe souple (3), notamment de forme générale allongée, comportant une feuille pliée et scellée, caractérisé en ce qu'un moyen (7) d'adhérence provisoire des produits à emballer est interposé entre l'enveloppe (3) et chacun des produits, et en ce que le moyen d'adhérence provisoire (7) est appliqué sur une zone pliée et scellée de l'enveloppe au contact de l'extrémité correspondante des produits.
  2. Emballage selon la revendication 1, dans lequel l'enveloppe souple (3) comporte deux extrémités, l'une ouverte ou destinée à être fermée par un couvercle (5), notamment non refermable après ouverture, l'autre fermée par pliage et scellement servant de fond (4) à l'enveloppe, caractérisé en ce que le moyen (7) d'adhérence provisoire des produits à emballer est interposé entre le fond (4) de l'enveloppe et l'extrémité adjacente de chacun des produits.
  3. Emballage selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, caractérisé en ce qu'il contient plusieurs produits empilés de forme allongée (2), notamment préemballés.
  4. Emballage selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, caractérisé en ce que le moyen (7) d'adhérence est porté par l'enveloppe (3).
  5. Emballage selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 3, caractérisé en ce que chacun desdits produits portent un moyen d'adhérence provisoire(7) qui adhère à l'enveloppe(3).
  6. Emballage selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, caractérisé en ce que le moyen d'adhérence provisoire (7) comprend une colle du type colle à froid activable par pression.
  7. Emballage selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, caractérisé en ce que le moyen d'adhérence provisoire (7) comprend une colle du type thermoréactivable.
  8. Procédé d'emballage de produits (2) de forme allongée, notamment préemballés, du type comprenant :
    (a) le placement d'un empilement desdits produits (2) sur une feuille (9) éventuellement préformée ; et
    (b) la formation d'une enveloppe (3) de forme générale tubulaire par pliage et scellement, notamment par collage, de ladite feuille refermant ainsi au moins partiellement cette enveloppe,
    caractérisé en ce qu'il comporte, avant l'étape (b) de formation de l'enveloppe (4), une étape (c) de pose d'un moyen d'adhérence provisoire (7) sur la face de ladite feuille (9) destinée à constituer la face intérieure de l'enveloppe (3) dans une zone destinée à être pliée et scellée de l'enveloppe (3) et destinée à venir au contact de l'extrémité correspondante des produits, et en ce que, pendant l'étape (b) de scellement, l'activation du moyen d'adhérence (7) est réalisée simultanément au scellement de l'enveloppe (3).
  9. Procédé d'emballage selon la revendication 8, dans laquelle la formation de l'enveloppe (3) de l'étape (b) comporte une étape de scellement, notamment par collage, des bords opposés de ladite feuille refermant la circonférence de l'ébauche d'enveloppe, et une étape de pliage et de scellement, notamment par collage, d'au moins une extrémité de l'ébauche d'enveloppe, réalisant la fermeture d'au moins un fonds (4) de l'enveloppe (3), caractérisé en ce qu'à l'étape (c), le moyen d'adhérence provisoire (7) est posé au moins sur la partie de la face intérieure destinée à constituer le fond (4) de l'enveloppe (3) et est activé simultanément au scellement du fond (4) de l'enveloppe (3).
  10. Procédé d'emballage de produits (2) de forme allongée, notamment préemballés, du type comprenant la réalisation, à partir d'une feuille souple, d'une ébauche d'enveloppe (3) de forme générale allongée, le remplissage de l'ébauche d'enveloppe par lesdits produits, et la formation d'une enveloppe (3) de forme générale tubulaire par pliage et scellement, notamment par collage, de ladite feuille refermant ainsi au moins partiellement cette ébauche d'enveloppe, caractérisé en ce qu'il comporte une étape d'enduction par un moyen d'adhérence provisoire (7) d'une partie de chacun des produits (2) ou de leur préemballage destinée à venir au contact de l'enveloppe dans une zone destinée à être pliée et scellée de l'enveloppe (3) et destinée à venir au contact de l'extrémité correspondante des produits, et en ce que l'activation du moyen d'adhérence provisoire (7) est réalisée simultanément au scellement de l'enveloppe (3).
  11. Procédé d'emballage selon la revendication 10, dans lequel la formation de l'enveloppe (3) comporte une étape de pliage et de scellement, notamment par collage, d'au moins une extrémité de l'ébauche d'enveloppe, réalisant ainsi la fermeture d'au moins un fond (4) de l'enveloppe (3), caractérisé en ce que chacun des produits (2) est enduit sur l'une de ses extrémités, ou des extrémités de son préemballage, en regard du fond (4), par un moyen d'adhérence provisoire (7), et en ce que l'activation du moyen d'adhérence (7) est réalisée simultanément au scellement du fond (4) de l'enveloppe (3).
