Nachteilig bei dieser bekannten Vorrichtung zum Herstellen ring- oder rohrförmiger Werkstücke aus Beton ist allerdings, daß wegen der Anordnung der Formpresse oberhalb der Beschickungs- und Verteilereinrichtung vergleichsweise große Hübe für den Preßstempel erforderlich werden und daß über das sowohl die Formpresse als auch die Beschickungs- und Verteilereinrichtung aufnehmende Gestell die Preßkräfte abgetragen werden müssen, was schwere Konstruktionen für dieses Gestell und den die Presse tragenden Schlitten bedingt. Um die Herstellung eines neuen Werkstückes vorzubereiten, muß unten an den Mantel 3 oder einen neuen Mantel ein den Formraum der Formeinrichtung 1 nach unten abschließender Formring 24 angeschlossen werden, bevor der Mantel 3 mit dem unteren Formring in die Formeinrichtung 1 eingesetzt wird.
