Definitions

  • the invention relates to a hob with a glass or glass-ceramic material existing support plate, on the At least one sensor is applied to the top.
  • the output power is common each heating unit to control the glass ceramic To protect overheating. This is done on the bottom surface of the glass ceramic material with a corresponding temperature Sensor measured.
  • This arrangement of the sensor proves turned out to be inconvenient, however, if due to the sensor supplied temperature information the output power of the Heating unit should be regulated to a user-selected To achieve cookware temperature and upright too receive.
  • Other measurands, such as weight of a cookware or the detection of liquid the support plate are in the arrangement of the sensor on the lower Surface of the support plate cannot be measured.
  • DE-A-38 37 096 provides for a sensor direct measurement of the cookware temperature, i.e. an arrangement the sensor on the top of the glass ceramic hob, taken into consideration. From a realization of this Idea is discouraged because it increases costs the manufacturing process made more complicated and by that The sensor protrudes beyond the hob at least to some extent Extent the benefits in terms of appearance and the Possibility of cleaning the otherwise smooth hob surface would be rendered obsolete.
  • DE-C-32 29 380 describes a radiant heater for electric cookers described with glass ceramic cover plates, where in Area of the cooking zone on the underside of cover plate two Sensors, namely a temperature sensor and a metal plate to determine the extent of the curvature of curved cookware, are located.
  • Glass ceramic cooktops are described in DE-GM-88 01 334.0. where that is on top of glass ceramic plates printed decor extreme mechanical stress therefore has grown and is perfectly visible remains because it is arranged in recesses in the footprint is.
  • the disadvantage of the prior art is in that, in contrast to the decor, sensors have so far only been used the underside of glass ceramic plates are arranged and this means that measured variables relating to the cookware are only indirect can measure.
  • sensors By arranging conductive sensors on the Underside of the support plate is also an electrical hazard Flashover from heating coil to sensor enlarged, resulting in dangerous operating conditions of the household appliance can lead.
  • the object of the present invention is therefore to direct sensing of measured values on the top the glass-ceramic plate by means of a sensor technology while overcoming the disadvantages inherent in the sensors above to enable.
  • This object is achieved in that a cover layer covering at least one sensor.
  • the application of the sensor itself on the top differs not from attaching the sensor to the bottom, so that the costs and the manufacturing process are identical in this regard are.
  • the sensors prefferably have connecting lines assigned and this also covered.
  • the sensors are advantageously in a surface area applied within this cooking zone.
  • a temperature sensor Spatially assigned area outside the cooking zone, to measure their residual heat.
  • first opaque top layer material and the material of the decorative coating advantageously simplifies the manufacturing process.
  • the the same purpose is used in a further preferred exemplary embodiment the replacement of the decorative coating with a first top layer.
  • the sensors over a large area and not on the linear design a sensor oriented covered with the top layer. It is expedient to use the first cover layer a clear second top layer is used so the geometric arrangement of the sensors below the Top layer remains recognizable.
  • the connecting lines are of the sensors to the edge of the support plate, the is covered by a frame surrounding the support plate, and from there with control electronics located below the support plate conductively connected.
  • FIG. 1 which is not to scale, shows the cooktop with a Support plate 1 made of glass-ceramic material by a slightly raised frame 2 is bordered. Below the Support plate 1 are several, not shown, e.g. electric radiators arranged. These are on the top cooking zones 3a, 3b, 3c corresponding to support plate 1, 3d assigned.
  • the cooking zones 3a, 3b, 3c, 3d get geometrical assigned devices as a reference number Arabic numeral and a lowercase letter a, b, c, d. there the reference number stands for the type of device, for example 7 for sensor.
  • the assignment of the device to the respective cooking zone 3a, 3b, 3c, 3d takes place via the trailing letters a, b, c or d.
  • Cooking zones 3a, 3b, 3c, 3d are on the top or footprint of the support plate 1 decorative coatings 4b, 4d of ceramic material in the form of circular or oval lines, a first cover layer 5a made from the same Material consists of the decorative coatings 4b, 4d and one first cover layer 5c or a second transparent Cover layer 6b applied from ceramic material.
  • the Cover layers 5a, 5c, 6b or further first cover layers 5b, 5b ', 5d, which consist of the same material as that Decorative coatings 4b, 4d also cover the sensors 7a, 7b, 7b ', 7c, 7d and their connecting lines 8a, 8b, 8b', 8c, 8d.
  • the materials of the Decorative coating 4b, 4d and the first cover layer 5a, 5b, 5b ', 5d may also be different. It is also possible the transparent second cover layer 6b e.g. with a To provide matting and thus the cooking zone 3b mark and do without the decorative coating 4b.
  • Each of the cover layers 5a, 5b, 5b ', 5c, 5d, 6b can also be multilayered.
  • the sensors 7a, 7b, 7b ', 7c, 7d are in thick-film technology applied as well as their connecting lines 8a, 8b, 8b ', 8c, 8d. It is also a realization of the sensors and connection lines possible in thin film technology if this is advantageous.
  • the connecting lines can expediently consist of a precious metal.
  • connection lines 8, 8b, 8b ', 8c, 8d do not lead to connection points shown on the top of the support plate 1, which are covered by the frame 2. From there are them with control electronics located under the support plate 1 conductive via edge connector (not shown) connected. The connection of sensor and control electronics can also be implemented capacitively or inductively if necessary his. Also at least one through hole in the support plate 1 for carrying out electrical lines is conceivable.
  • the temperature sensor 7a is on the Top of the support plate 1 applied, the temperature dependence of the ceramic hob material overheated Locations on the edge of the cooking zone 3a detected.
  • the thermistor 7b In the cooking zone 3b are the thermistor 7b and the piezoelectric weight sensor 7b 'and in the cooking zone 3c is the temperature sensor 7c in known double spiral form (DE-PS 40 22 845 C2) realized. This extends over the entire Cooking zone 3c and therefore covers almost every overheated area the cooking zone, but also covers a large proportion of the total area the cooking zone 3c.
  • the sensors 7a, 7b, 7b ', and 7c are each an area within the cooking zones 3a, 3b and 3c assigned.
  • the thermistor 7d is an area outside the cooking zone 3d assigned to its residual heat capture.
  • the selection of the measurands is not on the above-mentioned, but more information, e.g. the presence of liquid on the Support plate 1 or the presence of a cookware a cooking zone, if this is appropriate.
  • the temperature sensor 7a is with the first cover layer 5a covered.
  • the cover layer 5a is only on the sensor tracks themselves and not in between (see Fig. 3A).
  • the temperature dependence of the sensor 7a is therefore independent of the properties of the ceramic Top layer 5a.
  • the cover layer 5a replaces the decorative coating the cooking zone 3a.
  • a recess 9b formed and with the second cover layer 6b replenished is transparent so that the position of the two sensors 7b formed on the bottom of the recess 9b and 7b 'remains visible, as can be seen in Fig. 1. So is the operator is able to use the point-measuring sensors 7b and 7b 'to use correctly. It can be beneficial the areal expansion of the recess 9b and second cover layer 6b on the areal expansions the sensors 7b, 7b 'and their connecting lines 8b, 8b' limit.
  • the spiral temperature sensor 7c At the bottom of a recess 9c in the cooking zone 3c is the spiral temperature sensor 7c applied.
  • the deepening 9c is filled with the first cover layer 5c, which the decorative coating of the cooking zone 3c replaced.
  • the recess 9c itself can also only have a double spiral shape according to the linear design of the Sensor 7c be formed in the support plate 1.
  • the connecting lines 8d of the temperature sensor 7d are on Bottom of a recess 9d applied.
  • the recess 9d is suitably shaped by laser beams, but can, for example can also be done by machining or in the support plate be etched. There can also be two wells for the two connecting lines 8d are formed.
  • the transition from the first cover layer 5d, which fills the depression 9d, is stepless to the surface of the glass ceramic plate 1 realized (see Fig. 3B).
