Description

The invention relates to a casting mold for manufacture of castings with one each in an upper and a lower box arranged mold block being between the Form blocks of upper and lower box at least one boxless form block is used, the or the together with the adjacent mold block at least two in mold cavities lying essentially in parallel planes form, with all mold cavities over at least one common pouring can be filled. Such a mold is known from JP-A-63 188447.

In foundries, the castings are predominantly divided into two horizontal forms made. The the Form-forming blocks mostly consist of a clay-containing one Molding sand that is molded on a model. Of the Mold block is compressed under pressure so that this is his Preserves dimensional stability. To support the stability of the Mold blocks are used in mold frames that At the same time, handling and manipulation are essential improve. Two-part shapes consist of a sub and an upper box and mold blocks arranged in it, which in the assembled state is a common one Form a support surface that surrounds the mold cavity. In the mold block used in the top box is the Sprue molded in while the sprue is either only in the upper mold block or in both mold blocks extends.

There are also two-part shapes that have no top and Lower boxes can be used. For manufacturing only of the mold blocks and for exact centering of the upper and lower mold block, mold frames are used that then be removed again before casting. For the cast is then a so-called boxless Form block, which has the essential advantage that the very high investment costs for the mold box park are eliminated. The disadvantage of such shapes is their poor stability, which means that these are not for manufacturing all possible castings is suitable.

Furthermore, the so-called batch casting is known. Here several form blocks are stacked on top of each other, whereby in the parting planes of the individual mold blocks the mold cavities are trained. Such a stack has several Shape levels, which makes it possible to have multiple levels to be able to produce castings on top of each other. With two parts Shapes are two different types to form a mold cavity Moldings required. With the stack casting however the stack is made from just one molded part, one at each of its upper and lower levels Mold cavity half is formed. The batch cast however the disadvantage that due to the different metallostatic Print the qualities in the individual form levels of the castings obtained can be different. In addition, the manipulability of these mold blocks quite right in automatic molding machines complex, since here the individual mold blocks are not only elaborately aligned, but also held together mechanically Need to become.

The invention has for its object a mold trained in such a way that the simple Manageability and the high casting quality of the two-part Maintain a mold with an upper and lower box is, however, the number of those to be produced in a casting Castings is increased without reducing the number of required mold frame must be enlarged or additional Bandages are required.

This object is achieved with the features of claim 1.

A casting mold according to the invention exists in the simplest case from a conventional top box and a bottom box, in which a mold block is arranged in a known manner is. Between the form block of the top and the form block the bottom box is a boxless mold block, the one on both sides of the mold with a mold cavity according to the form block in the upper or lower box is provided. This boxless mold block must then only with a sprue and corresponding gates to the individual mold cavities to be provided at a single cast doubles the number of castings to obtain. The stability of the boxless mold is obtained through the form block of the upper and lower box, each with a conventional molding box is. Interlocking pegs and recesses, which are mutually formed in the mold blocks are to further increase stability.

An advantageous development of the invention exists in it, not the form block in the upper box and in the lower box to train over the entire height of the upper and lower box, but this one piece in front of the lower edge of the End the top box or in front of the top edge of the bottom box to leave, so that the upper and the lower box each also overlaps part of the boxless mold block. On the one hand, this increases the stability of the boxless Form block and on the other hand the centering of the three form blocks further increased.

According to a further advantageous proposal of the invention the boxless form block gets slightly smaller on all sides Dimensions than the upper and lower mold blocks so that the boxless mold block inside the top and bottom Mold block rests, so that the mold part levels from the upper and lower form block on their circumferential edges one on top of the other come to rest. The sprue as well as that are advantageous Gates formed in the boxless mold block.

To increase the number of casting levels from two to three or more can two between the upper and lower mold block or more boxless mold blocks are used. To make things easier centering when assembling the mold blocks can be tongue and groove formed on the mold blocks be, which also increases the lateral stability of the Shape blocks against each other is obtained. This is special of interest if the frame of the upper and lower box the boxless mold blocks not or only partially spreads.

The mold shown in Fig. 1 consists of an upper one Mold block 1, a lower mold block 2, each in an upper box 3 or a lower box 4 formed are. Would the top mold block 1 and the bottom one Assemble mold block 2 to get a casting mold in one level. Between the upper mold block 1 and the lower one Form block 2 is a boxless form block 5, the contours of the lower one on its top Form block 2 and on its underside the contours of has upper mold block 1, so that between the upper mold block 1 and the boxless mold block 5 a mold 6 and between the lower mold block 2 and the boxless mold block 5 a corresponding mold 7 is formed. For Improvement of the axial fixation of the mold blocks 1, 2 and 5 are pins in the upper and lower mold block 1, 2, respectively 8 and 5 recesses 9 formed in the boxless mold block. A casting funnel 10 is formed in the upper mold block, which is connected to a sprue 11. A with the sprue 11 related sprue 12 is in the boxless mold block 5 formed. The mold cavities 6, 7 stand over gates 13, 14 with the mold cavities 6, 7 in connection, which in the embodiment in the boxless Form block 5 are formed. These gates can however equally in the upper and lower mold block 1, 2 be formed.

Gießtrichter 10, Anguß 11, 12 sowie Anschnitte 13, 14 sind entsprechend dem Ausführungsbeispiel nach Fig. 1 angeordnet.2 the same parts are provided with the same reference numbers. This embodiment differs from that 1 in that the plane of the mold cavity 6 and 7th relative to the respective molding box 2, 4 to the upper or lower End is arranged offset, so that this a cavity 15 is created in which the boxless Form block 5 is added so that between the upper box 2nd and lower box 4 only a short distance remains. This construction gives the boxless mold block 5 greater stability so that those occurring during casting metallostatic forces are absorbed even better can, as this in the embodiment of FIG. 1st the case is. Casting funnel 10, sprue 11, 12 and gates 13, 14 are according to the embodiment arranged according to Fig. 1.

3 corresponds essentially 2, but here is the cavity 15 has been enlarged a little, and so much that in this with the top and bottom boxes 2, 4 on top of each other these lie completely on top of each other, so that none Gap remains. This ensures that the metallostatic Pressure on the boxless mold block 5 acts, completely absorbed by the lower and upper box becomes. The gate 12, which the mold cavity 6 with the Bleed 11 connects in the upper mold block is with this Embodiment also in the boxless form block arranged.

Das Ausführungsbeispiel nach Fig. 4 entspricht im wesentlichen dem der Fig. 3, jedoch sind hier die Angüsse 11 und 12 im oberen bzw. unteren Formblock 1, 2 ausgebildet, so daß im kastenlosen Formblock lediglich noch die Anschnitte 13, 14 ausgeformt werden müssen.4 corresponds essentially to 3, but here are the sprues 11 and 12 formed in the upper and lower mold block 1, 2, so that in the boxless mold block only the gates 13, 14 must be formed.

Man erhält hierdurch drei Formteilungsebenen 16, 17, 18 und damit auch drei Formhohlräume 6, 7, und 19, so daß mit einem Abguß Gießstücke in drei Ebenen hergestellt werden können.FIG. 5 shows an embodiment which corresponds to that of FIG. 3 corresponds, with the difference that here is not just a boxless Form block 5, but two boxless form blocks 5, 5 'between the upper mold block 1 and the lower mold block 2 are used. This gives three levels of mold division 16, 17, 18 and thus also three mold cavities 6, 7, and 19, so that castings are cast in three levels can be produced.

A mold designed according to the invention has the big one Advantage that while maintaining the quality of the castings as well as the easy handling of the casting molds can be manufactured in two or more levels without that extremely complex devices are required and the number of top and bottom boxes would have to be increased.
