Definitions
- the invention relates to a backflow preventer with a a flow housing having a feed line and a discharge line, in which a spring-loaded inlet valve and a spring-loaded drain valve and between the two Valves are arranged in a middle chamber and the two spring-loaded valves one valve plate and one
- a cage for radial fixation in the flow housing a guide part and a seat collar for axial fixation has whose end faces are designed as a valve seat.
- System separators of the above type are e.g. by EP-A 00 84 754 and DE-A 28 54 003 known.
- Flow through at the system separator normally the fluid flows through the valve from the inlet side a spring loaded check valve in the middle chamber and from there through a second spring-loaded check valve to the drain side.
- the pressure at the outlet of the system separator increases, for example due to damage in the downstream System so that the medium is pushed back, or the pressure on the inlet side of the system separator decreases, for example through a pipe break, so that sucking back both cases have a reversal of the Flow as a negative pressure difference arises.
- the two spring-loaded check valves close even with a certain positive pressure difference.
- the middle chamber is equipped with a relief valve equipped to provide a ventilation opening in the event of damage to open and also the medium through an outlet opening to drain off. Is the drain check valve will leak if there is a negative pressure difference, in other words at a higher pressure at the outlet than at the valve inlet, increase the middle chamber pressure.
- the relief valve opens due to the increased pressure in the middle chamber and gives the way for the medium to be pushed back into the relief opening free. The relief valve only closes when a pressure difference at the inlet of at least 0.14 bar the middle chamber is reached.
- European patent 0 084 756 describes a generic System separator for installation between an upstream and a downstream line, in which in a connector both on the inflow and outflow sides a spring valve is inserted while between the seats an intermediate chamber is located in these two valves there is a closable drain opening in the lower part, which is controlled by a membrane.
- the automatic spring valve is the whole description nothing inferred except that they are arranged so that they open under the influence of a flow pressure. It is neither mentioned nor evident that they consist of identically trained Parts still exist that they have different loading springs exhibit.
- the object of the present invention is a system separator to create, with the check valves on the inlet and on the drain side can be used up on the springs consist of completely identical parts, but not can be used incorrectly.
- the two spring-loaded check valves from identically designed Parts are composed, but different Have load springs, and both on the side of the Seat collar as well as on the side of the guide part of the valve cage a sealing surface is provided and that Furthermore, the flow housing is designed so that each only the inlet valve in the inlet and the outlet valve only in the middle chamber drain can be installed.
- the processing of the flow housing simple and inexpensive. According to an advantageous Execution is at least the spring-loaded valve at the outlet arranged at an angle with respect to the central chamber. Thereby there is no need to arrange a special stop in the process of the system separator.
- the two spring-loaded valves are arranged obliquely in the flow housing. This not only achieves favorable machining, but also considerably simplifies the installation of the check valves.
- the accessibility for processing and installing the check valves can also be improved by opening the middle chamber with a cover, the opening area of which is at least so large that the projection of the receiving surfaces for the check valves lies in the direction of the axis of the guide pins inside the opening.
- the housing wall is designed as a stop without the flow through the flow housing being impaired thereby. Seeger rings are provided for fastening the valves in the flow housing, which results in both simple and inexpensive processing and also a precise and tight positioning of the check valve in the flow housing.
- a shoulder 144 and 144 ' is provided between the seat collar 142 and 142' and the guide part 143 and 143 'of the cage, the diameter D k of which is larger than the inner diameter D s of the anti-seizure device 7 in the Installation is required compressed condition. This makes it impossible to fix the check valve when it is incorrectly installed.
- the system separator has a straight pass from the inlet side 2 to the outlet side 3.
- the ones shown in FIG. 1 Arrows indicate the direction of flow of the liquid medium on.
- the flow housing 1 is installed in the line system.
- the housing 1 also contains a central chamber 5 into which a Relief valve 51 is installed, which via a valve rod 52 is controlled by the membrane 14.
- About one Control channel 13 is the inlet-side pressure in chamber 15 directed to act on the membrane 14.
- the flow housing 1 is closed with a lid 12.
- a check valve is arranged in the middle chamber 5, which from the valve plate 4, the cage 41 and the guide pin 46 consists.
- the check valve on inlet side 2 corresponds in its individual parts exactly the check valve on the outlet side 3, so that the cage 41 is exactly the same as the cage 41 ' is, just like the valve plate 4, the valve plate 4 'and Guide pin 46 corresponds to guide pin 46 '.
- the Check valves therefore consist of completely identical ones Share, only the spring 44 is generated on the inlet side 2 a stronger closing force than the spring 45 on the outlet side 103.
- the cage 41 consists of a seat collar 42 and a guide part 43 which in a corresponding recess the housing wall of the flow housing 1 is inserted.
- the Axial securing takes place by the seat collar 42 being in contact the housing wall, while the radial fixation of the cage 41 via the guide part 43 through the corresponding bore in the housing wall takes place. However, this drilling will continue of the flow cross section of the cage 41 by a annular shoulder 11 narrowed.
- the cage 41 has both on the side of the seat collar 42, as well as on the side of the Guide part 43 has a sealing surface, so that the seal of the Valve plates 4 or 4 'fit tightly on both sides can.
- the check valve is on the Drainage page 2 made from exactly the same parts as the check valve on the inlet side 3.
- the sealing surface of the guide member 43 ' works with the Valve plate 4 'together, while on the inlet side 2 Sealing surface of the seat collar 42 cooperates with the valve plate 4.
- a stop 6 is arranged, one of the valve plate 4 ' Distance that is less than the sum of the opening stroke H des Valve plates 4 'and the block length B of the spring 44 or 45 is, however, greater than the opening stroke H of the valve plate 4 'is measured from the valve plate 4' when it is in in its closed position. Under the block length B the length of the spring including its fastening collar on the guide pin 46 in the compressed state understood when opening the valve.
- the check valve on the Drain side can be opened completely without the stop 6 affects this opening stroke H.
- the two will Check valves 4 and 4 'swapped and the check valve from the inlet side 2 to the outlet side 3, protrudes the guide pin 46, the length of which by the Valve stroke H, the black length B and the length of the guide hub 47 of the cage 41 is determined, so far in the outlet side Drain opening in that the guide pin 46 against the stop 6 bumps before the cage 41 in the wall of the Flow housing 1 can be used. So it is not possible, the check valve 4 for the inlet side 2 outlet side to assemble.
- annular shoulder 11 is provided in the flow housing 1. This shoulder 11 does not extend axially over the entire Hole 116 in the housing wall, but leaves, from the cage seat measured, a distance L1 free that is greater than the length L2 of the guide part 43, but less than the axial length L2 of the guide part 43 and the thickness L3 of the valve plate 4th or 4 '. In this way, the length L2 of the guide part 43 without problems when inserting the valve 4 in the wall of the Flow housing 1 on the inlet side 2 added.
- valve plate 4 Becomes however, the valve 4 'from the outlet side 3 erroneously on the Inlet side 2 used, the valve plate 4 'abuts in the Bore for the cage 41 against the shoulder 11 without the Cage 41 'the correct seating position for axial fixation through the seat collar 42 'or for radial fixation by the Guide part 43 'has reached.
- the flow housing 111 has an inlet connection 102 and a drain port 103.
- the check valves 104 and 104 ' are arranged at an angle within the housing 111. she form an angle with respect to the central chamber 105.
- Die Check valves 104 and 104 'each consist of identical ones Share, namely a cage 141 or 141 ', the one Seat collar 142 or 142 'and a guide member 143 or 143'.
- the cage 141 and the cage 141 ' both have on the side of the seat collar, as well as on the side of the guide part Sealing surfaces with which the valve plate 104 and 104 'work together.
- the check valves 104 and 104 ' are the same in their individual parts, corresponds to the check valve 104 on the inflow side 102 exactly the return valve 104 'on the outlet side 103, so that the cage 141 is exactly the same as the cage 141 ', as is the valve disk 104 the valve plate 104 'and the guide pin 146 and the Guide pin 146 'corresponds. Only the spring 44 on the Inlet side 102 has a stronger closing force than that Spring 45 on the outlet side 102.
- the cage 141 is in one corresponding recess of the housing wall of the flow housing 101 used.
- the seat collar provides axial locking 142 by a Seegerêt 7 in annex to the Housing wall is held during the radial fixation of the Cage 141 over the guide part 143 by a corresponding one Drilling takes place in the housing wall.
- This hole however in continuation of the flow cross section of the cage 141 through a shoulder 111 is narrowed in the housing wall.
- the check valve also exists on this version the drain page 103 from exactly the same parts as that Check valve on the inlet side 102. On the outlet side 103, however, the sealing surface of the guide part 143 'works with the valve plate 4 'together while on the inlet side 102 the sealing surface of the seat collar 142 with the valve plate 104 works together.
- the check valve for inlet side 2 can be found on the outlet side 3 can not be installed, as an extension of the Axis of the check valve, the housing wall with the drain connector 103 is guided so that the distance between the housing wall to the valve plate 104 'only allows the valve lift H, as 4 emerges.
- the guide pin 146 of the inflow side Check valve 104 requires a clearance, which is at least block length B longer than the valve lift H.
- the drain back valve can be used 104 'do not install on the inlet side 102, as through the Shoulder 111 added only the length L2 of the guide member 143 can be.
- This check valve arrangement allows the check valves Use 104 and 104 'particularly easily. Besides, is the housing is more accessible for editing than at of the embodiment according to FIG. 1.
- the middle chamber has an opening 117, which is so large that the projection of the recording surfaces for the check valves 104 and 104 'in the direction the axis of the guide pins 146 and 146 'still within the opening 117 lies. This allows the tools to be edited the valve seats are inserted straight line, what the machining very simplified.
- the check valves can also be used 104 and 104 'can be exchanged easily and conveniently after opening the cover 112, which closes the opening 117.
- the membrane becomes simultaneously 114 and the relief valve 151 with its valve rod 152 away.
- check valve 104 closes and, since the membrane 114 is no longer applied, is also the relief valve 151 opened again by spring pressure. Both check valves 104 and 104 'are located then in the closed position, as shown in FIG. 3.
- the valve axis is directed towards the housing wall, which thus forms a stop 61, so that the inlet side Check valve must not be installed on the drain side can.
- An additional stop 6 is therefore unnecessary in the outlet connection 103, as shown for example in FIG. 1.
- the same is however also with a straight flow, as in Fig. 1 shown to achieve when the drain port 3 of the Housing 1 is arranged at an angle to the valve axis, so that by this bending the housing wall a stop 61st forms.
- a shoulder 11 or 111 is provided, the installation of the drain-side check valve prevented.
- a shoulder 144 or 144 ' is provided, the diameter D k of which is matched to the inside diameter D s of the sea safety device so that the diameter D k of the cage shoulder 144 is larger than the inside diameter D s the Seeger Kir, at least in the compressed state.
- the insertion of the Seegertechnisch is prevented in its groove 148, since the compressed Seegertechnisch 7 can not be pushed over the shoulder 144. This means that the cage and thus the check valve in the housing 101 cannot be attached at all when the installation is reversed.
