Definitions

  • the invention relates to a cassette for storing objects, in particular tools such as cutting tools, drilling tools and the like, with a lower part of the cassette formed from the front wall, rear wall, two side walls and a bottom part, with a lid part hinged to the rear wall and at least one in the lower part of the cassette between the side walls arranged, adjacent to the front wall insert, which is completely extendable from the lower part of the cassette.
  • a cassette is e.g. already known from US-A-3301619.
  • the insert part is inserted as an independent part in the lower part of the cassette, so it can be removed from below the insert part arranged tools can be completely removed from the lower part of the cassette.
  • the insert will not be put back into the lower part of the cassette, ie it will be forgotten and thus be lost.
  • the insert generally also serves as a stop for other tools such as twist drills or taps arranged in swivel inserts, they can fall out of their holders if you forget to insert and insert the insert into the lower part of the cassette.
  • the invention has for its object to design a cassette of the type mentioned in such a way that, when used as intended, the lid part can only be closed when the insert part is set back into the lower part of the cassette, without making it difficult to remove the tools arranged underneath the insert part.
  • At least two cantilever arms are connected to the insert part, which run parallel to the side walls and have at their free end a stop surface limiting the deployment movement for a projection projecting at the upper edge of the side wall, the projection at the same time forms the boundary for the insert part opposite the front wall, and that the extension arms each have a recess on their underside facing the bottom part, into which the upper edge of the front wall engages when the insert part is exposed.
  • the advantage achieved by the invention consists essentially in the fact that the insert part can be completely lifted out of the lower part of the cassette, so that the objects or tools underneath are freely accessible, but that there is nevertheless a connection to the lower part of the cassette via the extension arms, so that a closing of the cover part is only possible when the insert part is fully inserted into the lower part of the cassette.
  • the recesses on the cantilever arms ensure that the insert is fixed in its exposed position. Nevertheless, there is the possibility of completely detaching the insert part from the lower part of the cassette, if necessary, by pivoting the extension arms downwards by lifting the insert part so that the stop surface can pass below the projection.
  • complete removal of the insert will only be required in rare exceptional cases and, moreover, requires additional manipulations, so that the insert will always remain in contact with the lower part of the cassette during normal use of the cassette.
  • the part of the cantilever arm running below the insert part forms at its lower edge an inclined run-up runner which extends as far as the recess.
  • the insert part is slightly raised after being lifted out of the lower part of the cassette when it is pulled further, essentially horizontally, until the edge of the front wall slides into the recess.
  • the recess is advantageously arranged in the edge region of the insert part, so that the insert part in its exposed position completely removes the lower part of the cassette releases.
  • the cantilever arms are designed in the form of an angle profile in the region running below the insert part, since then one leg of the angle profile can be used as a connection on the underside of the insert part.
  • the insert part is advantageously provided with a handle element for lifting out of the lower part of the cassette. This makes it unnecessary to grip the insert, for example, on one of the side walls.
  • the handle element is connected to two wing parts which project downward on the front edge of the insert part, the front wall of the lower part of the cassette being provided with a recess in the area of the wing parts.
  • the grip element can then also be used to transport the cassette.
  • the two wing parts are advantageously provided on their lower free edge with a slight bend directed towards the cantilever arms in order to be able to insert the insert part more easily into the lower part of the cassette.
  • the wing parts are cut free from the bottom of the insert part and set up at right angles.
  • a driving finger is arranged on the cantilever arm for setting up a pivoting insert articulated in the lower part of the cassette in the region of the front wall for holding tools.
  • This swivel insert is therefore below the when the cassette is closed Insert part and is brought into an obliquely upward position when the insert part is exhibited, which facilitates the removal of, for example, twist drills arranged in the swivel insert.
  • the swivel insert is advantageously provided with laterally projecting bearing tongues which are held in bearing brackets provided with bearing recesses.
  • a supporting part which is likewise held by bearing tongues in the bearing recesses and has a stop bar for the tools which is bent at right angles to its edge facing away from the bearing tongues, can additionally be arranged below the pivot insert.
  • the cassette shown in the drawing is used for Storage of objects, in particular tools such as cutting tools, drilling tools and the like, not shown in detail.
  • the cassette consists in detail of a lower part 1 of the cassette with a front wall 2, a rear wall 3, two side walls 4 and a bottom part 5, furthermore a cover part 6 articulated to the rear wall 3 and an insert part 7 arranged in the lower part of the cassette between the side walls 4, which adjacent to the front wall 2 when the cassette is closed.
  • a swivel insert 8 is arranged, which can be connected to the cover part 6 via one or more connecting links, not shown in the drawing, and thus is automatically set up when the cassette is opened.
  • This swivel insert 8 is used, for example, to accommodate taps.
  • two outrigger arms 9 are arranged on the underside thereof, which run parallel to the side walls 4 and have a stop surface 10 at their free end, which is formed by a hook-like upstanding part and the deployment movement of the insert part 7 together with one on the top Edge of the side wall 4 protruding projection 11 is limited.
  • the projection 11 also forms the boundary for the insert part 7 opposite the front wall 2, so that this in its position set in the lower part 1 of the cassette on the one hand through the side walls 4 and on the other hand through the front wall 2 or the projection 11 is held.
  • the cantilever arms 9 each have a recess 12 on their underside facing the bottom part 5, into which the upper edge of the front wall 2 engages when the insert part 7 is shown in FIG. 2. In this way, the insert 7 is fixed in its position shown in the lower part of the cassette.
  • the part of the cantilever arm 9 running underneath the insert part 7 forms at its lower edge an inclined run-up skid 13 which extends to the recess 12. This makes it possible to pull the insert part 7 forward in the manner of a drawer after it has been removed from the lower part of the cassette until the recess 12 engages in the upper edge of the front wall 2.
  • the recess 12 is arranged in the edge region of the insert part 7, that is to say below the rear wall, as a result of which the insert part 7 in its exposed position completely clears the opening cross section of the lower part 1 of the cassette.
  • the cantilever arms 3 to the insert part 7 they are designed in the area below the insert part to have an angular profile.
  • the insert part 7 is provided with a handle element 14 in the form of a plastic-coated metal band for easier removal from the lower part of the cassette 1.
  • the grip element 14 is connected in detail to two wing parts 15 which protrude downward on the front edge of the insert part 7.
  • the front wall 2 of the lower part 1 of the cassette is provided in the area of the wing parts 15 with a recess 16 through which the connection points of the grip element 14 at Cassette lower part 1 arranged insert 7 can pass through.
  • the two wing parts 15 are provided at their lower free edge with a slight bend 17 directed towards the extension arms 9 in order to facilitate the insertion of the insert part 7 into the lower part 1 of the cassette.
  • the wing parts 15 themselves can be cut free from the bottom of the insert part 7 and set up at right angles in a manner not shown.
  • a swivel insert 18 which adjoins the side wall 4 and is articulated in the region of the front wall 2, and serves to hold further tools, in particular twist drills.
  • a driving finger 19 is provided, by means of which the swivel insert 18 is set up when the insert part 7 is moved out of the lower part 1 of the cassette into its exposed position.
  • the swivel insert 18 is provided in a manner not shown in detail with laterally projecting bearing tongues which are held in bearing brackets 21 provided with bearing recesses 20 in the lower part 1 of the cassette.
  • a support part 22 likewise held by bearing tongues in the bearing recesses 20, is arranged below the swivel insert 18.
