Description

The invention relates to a multiple mast for industrial trucks according to the preamble of claim 1.

Multiple masts are composed of an outer mast that is permanently connected to the industrial truck and at least one other mast that is guided on the inside of the outer mast profiles and that is height-adjustable in relation to the outer mast. Suitable lifting devices ensure that the other mast is raised and lowered. On the further mast, a load suspension device is preferably mounted such that it can be adjusted in height, for example also on the profiles of the further mast with the aid of a further lifting device. Often, three mast sections are also provided, which means that the mast consists of an outer mast, a middle mast and an inner mast. The mast shots are guided against each other and also the load handler with the help of rollers running in the profiles. The guide profiles usually have the shape of a channel which is approximately rectangular in cross section. The rollers are designed so that the outer diameter corresponds to the width of this channel, a clearance between the outer roller diameter and the width of the guide profile of, for example, 0.5 mm being accepted.

In order to keep the play between the roller and the profile as small as possible, either calibrated (cold drawn) profiles with small tolerances are used or, depending on the guide profile dimension, different rollers with different diameters are used. However, both solutions have disadvantages.

The cold drawn profiles require an additional work step in production and are therefore relatively complex. The use of guide rollers with different diameters requires a measuring process to determine the guide profile dimension in the assembly of the masts and makes the assembly of the masts unnecessarily expensive.

The invention has for its object to provide a multiple mast for industrial trucks in which guide rollers with the same dimensions can be used despite different dimensions of the guide profiles in the mast sections.

This object is achieved by the features of patent claim 1.

In the mast according to the invention, a sliding section is arranged with the further mast, that is to say the movable mast section, between the preferably lower roller and an associated profile surface of the outer mast, which is in sliding engagement with the assigned profile surface of the outer mast and is at a short distance from the guide roller. According to a further embodiment of the invention, the surface of the sliding section facing the roller is wedge-shaped and the height of the sliding section is attached to a holding section such that the distance of the roller from the wedge-shaped surface changes when the sliding section is adjusted in height.

With a sliding section of equal thickness over its length, the distance between the sliding section and guide roller can be change only by choosing a different sliding section of different thickness. However, it is also conceivable to make the sliding section adjustable in width in order to change the distance between the sliding section and guide roller depending on the width of the guide profile in the outer mast. On the other hand, the height adjustment of a sliding section with a ramp-shaped course of the facing surface is simpler, as a result of which the distance to the roll can be changed.

The sliding section is naturally only used where the guide profile of the outer mast or the central mast is significantly larger than the diameter of the "unit roller" used for the entire mast. Furthermore, the sliding section is arranged on the side of the roller which is at a distance from the associated profile wall when the mast is under normal load. With normal loading of the mast with a load on the forks, the roller can roll on the assigned profile web as usual and causes only little friction. However, if the load moment does not act in the usual direction, for example, when the mast is tilted backwards without load or due to strong dynamics during stacking operations, the sliding section is loaded. Because these processes, however occur only briefly, the operation and the lifespan of the mast is not affected.

The invention has the advantage that the assembly of the masts is simplified and can be designed inexpensively. Nevertheless, simple profiles with larger tolerances can be used. Guide profiles with different dimensions can be equipped with the same rollers. This also creates the possibility of using a profile with higher rigidity in the outer mast of the mast without having to use different rollers.

Various possibilities are conceivable for arranging the sliding section to be adjustable in height. According to the invention, one is that the sliding section is attached to a threaded bolt, which is seated in a threaded bore of the holding section. The height of the sliding section can be adjusted by simply turning the threaded bolt.

According to another embodiment of the invention, the holding section is formed by a plate arranged on the underside of the mast profile of the further mast.

Roller and slider are both firmly attached to the movable mast section. If the mast section moves relative to the fixed mast section and the roller is at a small distance from the sliding section, a certain displacement of the sliding piece or sliding section must take place so that the roller can engage against the facing surface of the sliding section around the movable mast effective support on the outer mast. Due to the shift, favorably chosen tolerances can be realized in the holder of the slide.

In Fig. 1, a mast 10 for an industrial truck (not shown) is only hinted at. It consists of an outer mast 12 with the cross-sectionally U-shaped mast profiles 14, 16, a central mast 18 with the mast profiles 20, 22 and the inner mast 24 with the mast profiles 26, 28. The profiles of the middle and inner mast are the same and correspond to the U-profile of the outer mast, but an extension 30 is formed on the side of the profile adjacent to the outside. Double T profiles can also be used for central and internal dimensions. In the area of the lower roller guide, as shown in Fig. 1, a web is then milled.

On the profiles 20, 22 guide rollers are rotatably mounted on the outside, one of which can be seen at 32 and 34, respectively. They form the lower rollers of the mast 18. The rollers 32, 34 project into a channel-like profile chamber 36 or 38 of the outer mast profiles 14, 16 which is approximately rectangular in cross section. As can be seen, the diameter of the rollers 32, 34 is smaller than the width of the profile chamber 36, 38.

On the outside of the inner mast profiles 26, 28, rollers 40, 42 are rotatably mounted, which engage in profile chambers 44, 46 of the central mast profiles 20, 22. As can be seen, the diameter of the rollers 40, 42 corresponds to the width of the guide chambers 44, 46. Guide rollers 50, 52 are rotatably mounted on the outside on a load-carrying means 48, not shown, which engage in corresponding profile chambers 54, 56 of the inner mast profiles 26, 28. Also corresponds here the diameter of the rollers 50, 52 the width of the chambers 54, 56. As can also be seen, all the rollers 32, 34, 40, 42, 50, 52 are of the same construction and have the same dimensions. Although the profile chamber 36, 38 has a greater width than the diameter of the rollers 32, 34, effective guidance takes place. This is shown in more detail in FIGS. 2 and 3 using the example of the outer mast profile 16 and the associated center mast profile 22.

A plate 60 is attached to the underside of the profile 22, for example by welding. 2, it protrudes from the plane of the drawing and thus protrudes from the profile 22 in the direction of the outer mast profile 16. A threaded bolt 64 is seated in a threaded bore 62. At the upper end of the threaded bolt, a pin 66 is attached, which can play through with play extends through a hole 68 of a shoulder 70, which is formed on a sliding portion 72. A spring ring 74 secures the shoulder 70 on the pin 66. The sliding section has a sliding surface 74 which bears against the associated wall of the profile chamber 38. With a relative movement of the outer mast 12 and the central mast 18, the roller moves in the chamber 36, 38, the sliding section 32 also moving and sliding relatively loosely along the associated surface of the outer mast profile. On the opposite side of the sliding surface 74 A ramp surface 76 is provided on the side. She is facing role 34. When the sliding section 72 is adjusted in height by rotating the bolt 64, the distance between the wedge surface 76 and the outer circumference of the roller 34 changes. The roller 34 and sliding section 72 are arranged such that the roller 34 on the associated profile web of the profiles 14, 16 of the outer mast 12 can roll. This causes little friction. There is also hardly any frictional contact between the sliding section 72 and the associated profile web. However, if the load moment does not act in the usual direction when the mast is tilted back without load or due to strong dynamics during stacking operations, the sliding section 72 is loaded by the roller 34 laying against the sliding piece, as a result of which the sliding piece 74 engages with its sliding surface 74 to a greater extent the associated profile web of the outer mast profile 16 occurs. This causes a higher friction than when the roller is engaged. However, because such a process only occurs for a short time, the briefly increased friction is not detrimental to the operation and service life of the mast.
