Description

The invention relates to a swing door for a passage of people, with a door leaf arranged on a housing, which is pivotably mounted with the aid of bearing elements about a vertical axis, the door leaf being driven by an electric motor which is connected to a drive shaft intended for moving the door leaf which can optionally be connected upstream of a clutch and with a braking device which is intended for locking the door leaf in the starting position and in the opened position, the drive mechanism thus formed, which can be influenced by control means, being essentially designed as a columnar structural unit and a carrying device is provided, which is intended together with the housing for carrying the drive mechanism and the door leaf.

Swinging doors, which are described in WO 86/00953 and in EP 0 423 016 A1, belong to the closest prior art. With these swing doors, the drive shaft of the door leaf is led upwards beyond the housing. This type of construction can be regarded as disadvantageous when it is necessary to incorporate such swinging doors into fences, as is known from entrance systems in self-service shops. The door leaves of such pivoting doors could not perform a pivoting movement of 90 °, since they would first strike the upper guide rails of the fences if these, starting from the center of the housing of the pivoting doors, would extend parallel to the passage direction of the pedestrian passages. However, in order to enable a pivoting of the door leaves by 90 ° in the presence of the fences just described, swing doors were developed, the door leaves of which are arranged between a lower and an upper housing section of the swing doors, so that parts of the fence, for example horizontally, above and below the door leaves arranged guide rails, can be attached to the housing sections of the swing doors, without the pivoting process to interfere with the door wing. Swing doors that enable such attachment are known, for example, from EP 0 075 806 B1 or from DE 41 05 482 A1.

The object of the invention is to develop a swing door of the generic type so that parts, e.g. horizontally arranged guide rails can be fastened to the housing sections of the pivoting door, the door leaf being to be arranged between these housing sections in a known manner.

The object is achieved in that the support device of the swing door has at least one cylindrical jacket section which is intended to receive the bearing elements of the door leaf, the at least one jacket section and thus the bearing elements being arranged concentrically with the pivot axis of the door leaf and a swivel arm being provided, which is rotationally connected to the drive shaft and rotationally connected to the swivel part of the door leaf.

This measure, according to the novelty, makes it possible to arrange the door leaf between an upper and a lower fixed housing section, so that the swing door can, if necessary, be integrated into a fence.

Now the swing door described in EP 0 075 806 B1 also has a support device which, together with the housing of the swing door, is intended for carrying the drive mechanism and the door leaf. However, this swing door differs from the swing door according to the invention in that it does not have a braking device arranged on the pivot axis of the door leaf, but instead uses the dead center positions of an eccentric drive to lock the door leaf in the open or closed position Able to effect. It also differs in that a so-called "panic protection" is provided between the drive shaft and the pivoting part of the door leaf, which also allows the pivoting of the door leaf in an emergency against the intended pivoting direction of the door leaf. This function also takes over the braking device in the swing door according to the invention. Due to the different design, the above-mentioned pivoting door, which is part of the prior art, does not provide any information as to how the object on which the invention is based could be achieved with a pivoting door of the generic type.

The invention is described in more detail using two exemplary embodiments according to FIGS. 1 and 2.

The swing door 1 shown schematically in section in FIG. 1 has a fixed lower housing section 2 that can be set up on the floor and a fixed upper housing section 11, a door leaf 6 pivotable about a vertical axis 33 being arranged between the two housing sections 2, 11. The housing sections 2, 11 have known fastening points 37, which are therefore not described in more detail, and which are intended for screwing on guide rails 38, which belong to a fence. This arrangement of the components visible from the outside is known and therefore need not be described in more detail. It is also known to preferably design the lower and upper housing sections 2, 11 and the pivoting part 7 of the door leaf 8 as tubular, as is shown in the exemplary embodiment. As a rule, the lower housing section 2 is equipped with a base plate 3, which allows the lower housing section 2 to be screwed onto the floor. At the upper end of the lower housing section 2, supports 4 are provided on its inner wall, on which one striving upwards Support device 19 is screwed. On the underside of the carrying device 19, an electric motor 22 is detachably attached to the carrying device 19. The output shaft 23 of the electric motor 22 is directed upwards, wherein it is rotationally connected to an intermediate piece 24 ′ which engages on the input side in a clutch 24 which is arranged above the electric motor 22 and preferably inside the support device 19, while on the output side of the clutch 24 a stub 25 projects upwards, with which the lower end of an upwardly extending drive shaft 26 is also connected in a rotationally locking manner by means of an intermediate bushing 26 '. It should be noted that the clutch 24 does not necessarily have to be present, but that the output shaft 23 of the electric motor 22 can also be connected directly and in a rotationally locking manner to the drive shaft 26. However, it may be expedient to provide a coupling 24 which is designed in such a way that it is able to have a damping effect on the starting and braking torque of the electric motor 22 in order to prevent the door leaf 6 from “hitting” during the pivoting process. The drive shaft 26 leading upwards penetrates the support device 19 and carries at its upper end a pivot arm 27 which, connected to the drive shaft 26 in a rotationally connected manner, spans the support device 19 from above and which has a pin 28 which positively engages in an opening 9 of a bearing plate 8 is inserted, which, arranged at the upper end of the pivoting part 7 of the door leaf 6, is internally welded to the pivoting part 7, so that a rotational connection between the pivoting arm 27 and the pivoting part 7 of the door leaf 6 is also produced. The support device 19 fastened to the supports 4 is designed as a hollow, preferably cylindrical part, which in the example has a plurality of cylindrical jacket sections 20, whereby it is conceivable to design certain parts adjacent to the support device 19 somewhat differently in the sense of expert knowledge is that the support device 19th is only equipped with a single, but longer cylindrical jacket section 20. In the support device 19, a bearing element 14 is used, which is provided as the lower bearing for the drive shaft 26. A second upper bearing for the drive shaft 26 is formed by a second bearing element 14 which is inserted in the centrally arranged opening 13 of a plate 12 which is inserted flat at the lower end of the upper housing section 11 and welded to it. The plate 12 and thus the upper housing section 11 are placed on the support device 19 and screwed to it. The plate 12 has an at least semicircular opening 15, viewed from above, through which the pin 28 of the swivel arm 27 is guided and which is then claimed by the pin 28 when the door leaf 6 is pivoted. The bearing plate 8 is penetrated centrally by the support device 19, a bearing element 16, for example in the form of a deep groove ball bearing, being guided on an upper cylindrical casing section 20 and being inserted in a form-fitting manner in a corresponding recess 10 in the bearing plate 8. In the lower region of the carrying device 19, a further bearing element 16, designed as a grooved ball agar, is guided on a further cylindrical jacket section 20 and is supported with its upper ring 17 on the inner wall of the swivel part 7. The bearing element 16 is screwed together with the support device 19 to the supports 4. The door leaf 6 can be pivoted with the aid of the bearing elements 16, 16 ′ guided on the cylindrical lateral surfaces 20. The cylindrical jacket sections 20, and thus also the bearing elements 16, 16 ', are arranged concentrically to the pivot axis 33 of the door leaf 6 and concentrically to the drive shaft 26. Accordingly, the bearing plate 8 and the plate 12, the bearing elements 14, also the drive shaft 26, the bearing elements 16, 16 ', the support device 19 and the pivot part 7 are optionally on the pivot axis 33 of the door leaf 6 the clutch 24 and preferably the electric motor 22. Together with the swivel arm 27 and a braking device 29 in the form of a two-part magnetic brake, which is also penetrated centrally by the support device 19 and whose upper part 30 is stationary with the bearing plate 8 and its lower part 31 against rotation is securely connected to the support device 19, these components form the drive mechanism 32, which is designed as a columnar structural unit and is located within the space formed by the lower and upper housing sections 2, 11 and by the pivoting part 7. The housing 34 formed from the lower and upper housing sections 2, 11 and the carrying device 19 accordingly carry the drive mechanism 32 and the bow-shaped door leaf 6.

The swing door 1, also shown schematically in section in FIG. 2, has a fixed lower housing section 2 that can be set up on the floor and a fixed upper housing section 11, a door leaf 6 being pivotable about a vertical axis 33 being arranged between the two housing sections 2, 11. The housing sections 2, 11 can have known fastening points, which are therefore not shown in more detail, and which are intended for screwing on guide rails, not shown, which belong to a fencing, as shown in FIG. 1. By deliberately omitting the attachment points for guide rails, the drawing should only refer to the fact that the pivoting doors 1 described in FIGS. 1 and 2 are of course also functional without the attachment points mentioned. It is also known to make the lower and upper housing sections 2, 11 and the pivoting part 7 of the door leaf 6 tubular, as shown in the exemplary embodiment. The lower housing section 2 is equipped with a base plate 3, which allows the lower housing section 2 to be screwed onto the floor. At the The upper end of the lower housing section 2 is provided on its inner wall with supports 4 to which a support device 19 striving upwards is screwed. On the underside of one of the supports 4, a holder 5 is screwed, which leads downward within the lower housing section 2 and carries an electric motor 22, the output shaft 23 of which is directed upwards. The output shaft 23 engages on the input side in a clutch 24, which is arranged above the electric motor 22, while on the output side of the clutch 24, for example, a hollow shaft-like stub 25 projects upwards, to which the lower end of an upward drive shaft 26 is connected in a rotationally locking manner. The clutch 24 need not necessarily be present. Rather, the output shaft 23 of the electric motor 22 can also be directly and rotationally connected to the drive shaft 26, as also described in FIG. 1. The support device 19 fastened to the supports 4 is designed as a hollow, preferably cylindrical part, which in the example has a plurality of cylindrical jacket sections 20, whereby it is conceivable to design certain parts adjacent to the support device 19 somewhat differently in the sense of expert knowledge is that the support device 19 is only equipped with a single, but larger cylindrical jacket section 20. The lower end of the support device is closed by a circular plate 21, but centrally Breakthrough 13 is provided, in which a plain bearing bush 14 is inserted. The slide bearing bush 14 serves as a bearing and as a lower guide for the rotatable drive shaft 26. An upper guide for the drive shaft 26 is also formed by a slide bearing bush 14 which is inserted in the centrally arranged opening 13 of a plate 12 which is at the lower end of the upper housing section 11 inserted in this plan and welded to it. The plate 12 has an at least semicircular opening 15 through which the pin 28 of the swivel arm 27 is guided and which is then claimed by the pin 28 when the door leaf 6 is pivoted. In the lower region of the carrying device 19, a further bearing element 16, which is designed as a deep groove ball bearing, is guided on a further cylindrical jacket section 20, which is supported with its outer ring 17 via a support ring 18 or also via an O-ring 18 on the inner wall of the pivot part 7. Accordingly, on the pivot axis 33 of the door leaf 6 are the bearing plate 8 and the plates 12 and 21 together with the plain bearing bushes 14, further the drive shaft 26, the bearing elements 16, 16 ', the support device 19 and the pivot part 7, the coupling 24 and preferably the Electric motor 22. Together with the swivel part 27 and a braking device 29 in the preferred form of a two-part magnetic brake, which is also provided by the carrying device 19 is penetrated centrically and whose upper part 30 is fixedly connected to the bearing plate 8 and whose lower part 31 is secured against rotation with the support device 19, these components form the drive mechanism 32, which is designed as a columnar structural unit and is located within the lower and upper housing sections 2, 11 and the space formed by the swivel part 7. The housing 34 formed from the lower and upper housing sections 2, 11 and the carrying device 19 accordingly carry the drive mechanism 32 and the bow-shaped door leaf 6.

The swing doors 1 described in Figures 1 and 2 are controlled in a known manner by control means, not shown, such as non-contact sensors, limit switches and the like, the braking device 29 being in the locking function whenever the door leaf 6 is in its initial position, in which the pedestrian passage is closed, or is in its position that enables the passage of people. The braking device 29 is also set so that the door leaf 6 can be opened in an emergency against the intended pivoting direction and by exerting a certain force. It should be mentioned that the functions of the swing door 1 just described are not the subject of the invention. It should also be noted that the support device 19 can also be designed as a part which can be screwed onto the floor and is equipped with corresponding flanges, in which case the two housing sections 2, 11, forming components of the housing 34, can be designed as claddings.

Usually, in a known manner, there is a light barrier in the fence connected to the swing door 1, the light beam of which shines transversely to the direction of the passage of people. If the light beam is interrupted by a person walking through, the control means are used the electric motor 22 is activated. This drives either via the clutch 24 or directly the drive shaft 26, which causes the door leaf 6 to pivot by preferably 90 °, at most by about 180 °. The door leaf 6 pivots from a position that closes the passage to a position that keeps the passage open. After reaching the open position, the electric motor 22 switches off and the braking device 29 locks the door leaf 6. After a short dwell time, the locking function of the braking device 29 is released, the electric motor 22 is activated in the opposite direction and the door leaf 6 swivels back into its starting position. in which it is locked again by the braking device 29, while at the same time the electric motor 22 switches off. As already mentioned, the locking of the door leaf 6 in the position in which it closes the passage of people is chosen so that the door leaf 6 can be pressed into a position releasing the passage of people by exerting a certain force. This is an advantage in emergency situations. Acoustic and / or optical warning elements can be provided in the upper housing section 11, which can come into operation, for example, when someone tries to walk through the passage in the opposite direction.
