Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a device for the transport and / or storage of piece goods, with a collapsible sheet of film or fabric material which is folded together to form at least one essentially U-shaped pocket in which the piece goods can be received, and with a hanging device at the upper end of the bags, which can be hung on at least one hanging device attached to a basic structure, the hanging device being connectable to the upper end of the bag, preferably via a loop, and extending in the transverse direction across the width of the bag, the carrying rod of which End can be hung at opposite suspension points.
  • the present invention also relates to a method for loading and unloading an appropriately designed device.
  • Piece goods are sealing washers, bearing shells and many other parts which have sensitive surfaces which would be scratched or otherwise damaged when the articles were stacked or poured onto one another as desired. It is currently becoming sensitive to shock and touch Packaged goods for transport over long distances and also for storage mostly very elaborately packaged. Transport boxes or cartons are given a specially shaped insert, generally made of polystyrene, which is adapted to the shape of the piece goods and keeps its sensitive parts or surfaces at a safe distance from other objects. Occasionally, instead of one or more specially shaped polystyrene blocks, a bed of smaller polystyrene chips is used, but usually only for the packaging of a single part in a larger container.
  • Corresponding boxes and / or boxes are then loaded and transported, for example, in trucks or iron wagons, then have to be unloaded and the piece goods are then removed from the individual packaging containers if required.
  • This is a relatively complex and expensive procedure.
  • the space required for transportation is many times higher than the total volume of the piece goods transported, because the packaging of the piece goods is very voluminous.
  • the packaging is often damaged when unloading and unpacking the piece goods and is then unsuitable for reuse.
  • the empty packaging must be transported back to the place of origin of the piece goods in a further transport trip, which is equivalent to an empty trip of a corresponding truck or railroad car.
  • the packaging process and also the unpacking of the items is relatively time-consuming, personnel-intensive and accordingly expensive.
  • the present invention has for its object to provide a device for the transport and storage of piece goods, as well as a corresponding method for loading and unloading this device, which is a quick, easy and space-saving loading and unloading enable with general cargo.
  • a device having the features mentioned at the outset, which is additionally characterized in that it has a loading frame which is pivotably and optionally detachably articulated either at the lower end or at the upper end of the basic structure, and of the devices for receiving the carrying rods having.
  • a method solving the problem is defined by claim 24.
  • the piece goods are simply placed in the U-shaped pocket formed by the film or fabric web, which in turn is then hung on the upper ends of the U-legs.
  • the film or fabric web wraps around and against the piece goods, so that the suspended pocket does not take up much more space than the inserted piece goods themselves.
  • the film or fabric sheets can of course also be fed or be padded, with the filled pocket still requiring relatively little volume.
  • the loading frame enables a very simple and quick loading and unloading of the corresponding transport device without the piece goods having to be removed from the individual pockets.
  • the carrying bars are taken directly into the loading frame and can then either be opened and emptied better and more easily in the loading frame, or the entire loading frame can be transported further with several pockets of this type, or the bags can be transferred from a transport device using the loading frame, e.g. mobile and intended for truck transportation, passed into a stationary receiving device.
  • loops are provided at the upper ends of the U-legs, which facilitate hanging the bags.
  • An embodiment of the invention is preferred in which the loop is formed by the connection of the U-legs of adjacent pockets. The best way to do this is to simply use a continuous fabric web that is zigzag-folded in a row of successive U-shaped pockets, the transition from one U-leg of a pocket to the U-leg of the next adjacent pocket facing it forming the loop mentioned. If desired, this loop can be fixed with a so-called darts.
  • the loops do not need to be continuous in the transverse direction of the pockets, but several loops can expediently be arranged in the transverse direction across the width of the pocket, the loops on the opposite U-legs a bag are expediently offset from one another, so that when the two legs of the bag are folded at their upper ends, the loops on one side lie between those on the other side and can be aligned one behind the other in the transverse direction.
  • the suspension device according to the invention is expediently a rod which can be connected to the ends of the loop and extends in the transverse direction across the width of the web or the pocket, the ends of which can be suspended at opposite suspension points.
  • the suspension points for the pockets or for the ends of the rod are expediently arranged on two parallel rails which can be fastened to the basic structure. It is understood that the length of the support rods then corresponds approximately to the clear distance between the rails, so that the ends of the rod at the arranged hanging points along the rails can be suspended.
  • the rails expediently have a number of locking points as suspension points.
  • the rails are C-shaped in profile, in such a way that the free ends of the "C” are drawn around so far that they converge. They then form a profile with a longitudinal slot, which widens inside behind the slot.
  • the support rods can have, for example, a thickened end or a constriction at a short distance from their ends, or else end-mounted rollers with axes essentially parallel to the longitudinal direction of the rod, with either the thickened ends or the end faces into the C Profile are introduced, the constriction or the shaft of the roller extending through the slot formed in the C profile to the support rod
  • a truck body can expediently be used as the basic structure for attaching the suspension device or the last-mentioned rails.
  • the basic structure can also be a frame which essentially spans a cuboid and has two parallel hanging devices, in particular the rails just mentioned, on two opposite upper edges or in the vicinity thereof.
  • the outer dimensions of the clamped frame should correspond to a standard dimension, so that one or more such frames can be accommodated in space-saving manner in correspondingly standardized larger containers.
  • the suspension device can also be arranged directly in an interchangeable container, which is used both on trucks and on railway wagons or ships can be transported.
  • the frame mentioned should be open at least on one end so that the U-shaped pockets can be easily inserted into the frame from this side. Apart from any reinforcing struts, the frame can also be open on its upper side.
  • the profile of the C-rails should have locks at least at one end, preferably at both ends or in the vicinity of the ends, which at least partially close the free C cross section of the rails. If the thickened ends of the handrails or correspondingly suitable rollers are inserted into the C-profile, they can be secured in the profile by closing the locks so that they do not slip out of the end faces of the C-rails during transport.
  • further interlocks can be provided along the C-rails or similar suspension devices in order to secure the suspended pockets individually or in groups against slipping.
  • the frame structure is expediently chosen as a collapsible scissor-lattice or truss construction. In this way, one can save the return transport of the empty pockets and the corresponding frame, and save space that is available for the transport of other objects.
  • a pocket or a row of pockets made from a continuous web expediently has a web end protruding a piece at one of the outermost pocket ends, which end can be folded back over the filled pockets and thus covers the top thereof
  • an embodiment of the invention is preferred, in which the individual pockets of a continuous web are only defined in that the web is placed over support bars extending transversely to the web and the section of the web resting on a support bar with a cross section that is essentially U-shaped. shaped bracket is fixed on the support rod.
  • the size of the bag is then defined in each case by the length of the web section which extends between two adjacent carrying bars.
  • the side openings of the U-shaped pockets can be closed by preferably removable folding sheets.
  • the shape of such bags is known in principle from hanging files, some of which also have so-called "linen frogs" which close the side openings of the bags of hanging files.
  • the folding sheets should be similar close side openings of the pockets according to the present invention. These folding sheets should preferably be removable, for example, they can be attached to the pockets laterally with snap fasteners or the like.
  • smaller additional pockets are provided on the walls of the pockets.
  • the bags can then be used either for the transport of larger piece goods in the U-shaped bags formed by the train and for the transport of smaller piece goods in the additional smaller bags.
  • the loading and unloading device consists of a substantially rectangular loading frame, which is pivotally articulated at its lower end to the lower end of the end face of the basic structure or frame.
