Abstract

In a locking mechanism for doors and gates, especially garage doors for one or two passenger cars, with a lock (6), especially with a rotary handle, a lock bolt which is movable by the latter out of a closing position into an opening position and which can engage into the floor or into the door frame, and force-transmission elements which are located between the lock bolt and each closing bolt and which can move the closing bolts back out of the closing position into a release position, in the closing position of the lock bolt the closing bolts being capable of being forced back into their opening position counter to spring force, provision is made, in order to avoid the known advantages and disadvantages of push rods and pull ropes with deflecting rollers or Bowden pulls and to make production and assembly easier, for designing the connecting elements as largely rectilinear steel wires (9, 10, 11) with a thickness of approximately 1.5 to 2.5 mm and for guiding them between the lock bolt (13) and each closing bolt, but only so far that, when the closing bolts are forced back out of their closing position, the connecting elements can shift aside resiliently and exert a return force on the closing bolts.

Description

The invention relates to a locking mechanism for doors and gates, in particular for garage doors for one or two cars, with a lock, in particular with a turning handle, a lock bolt which can be moved therefrom from a closed position into an open position, at least one lock bolt which extends into the floor and / or can intervene in the door frame, and wire-shaped connecting elements between the lock bolt and each lock bolt, which are able to move the lock bolts back from the closed position into a release position, the lock bolts being able to be pushed back into their open position against spring force in the closed position of the lock bolt.

There are known special locks for gates, especially up-and-over doors and overhead sectional doors, which have a one-piece or multi-part lock bolt (slide and lifting bolt, rotating or swivel bolt) with which a linkage, cables or Bowden cables are connected as connecting elements to the locking bolts can be used to confirm known bolt locks such as lifting or rotating bolts or snaps with sliding or rotating elements.

The advantages and disadvantages of locking mechanisms with push rods, pull ropes with pulleys or Bowden cables are known. Push rods require special shapes, are difficult to deflect and are complex to manufacture and assemble. The latter also applies to steel cables.

The known constructions have in common that springs or resilient devices between the handle of the lock and the Locking bolts in the lock or on the locking bolt, which are designed, for example, as snaps with their own spring, are provided.

The invention has for its object to provide a locking mechanism that is less complex to manufacture and assemble, which is also characterized by particular operational reliability.

To achieve this object, the invention provides in the locking mechanism mentioned at the outset that the connecting elements are at least partially formed as largely straight steel wires with a thickness of 1.5 to 2.5 mm, and are guided between the lock bolt and each lock bolt, but only so far that they spring out laterally when pushing back the locking bar from the closed position and are able to apply a restoring force to the locking bar.

Instead of a rod, conventional ropes or Bowden cables, a largely straight spring steel wire (- in contrast to the slightly plastic or permanent deformable iron wire -) with a thickness of 1.5 to 2.5 mm serves as the new connecting or power transmission element. The steel wire can also be somewhat hardened or made of spring steel in order to be laterally elastically deflectable. Its thickness should be chosen so that the locking system can be easily operated by hand without too much difficulty.

At least one of the locking bolts can have several locking bolts, which are each individually connected to the lock bolt of the lock by means of a steel wire. The steel wires of these locking bolts can be guided in a wide tube or hose, in which the two, three or four steel wires are guided so that they can move freely to the side. This design increases the likelihood of locking bolts latching into the locking plate or opening into which the bolts are contaminated should penetrate, or when clamping in the sliding guide in the locking bolt housing that receives the multiple locking bolts.

By using the steel wire as a lifting and pulling element for the locking bolt and each locking bolt, the necessary spring element is placed in the locking mechanism in the steel wire, which can be deflected elastically to the side, which then preferably extends to the locking or locking bolt, so that there is no spring on the locking bolt or the like can be provided. A return spring for the lock bolt can also be omitted in the lock.

Dadurch ist die nötige Betätigungsenergie sehr gering.1 to 8 steel wires can be adjusted by means of a small punched fastening element on the lifting and pulling bolt of the lock, e.g. Can be hooked in at several places or, if eyelets are provided at the end of the steel wires, can be attached. Each of the steel wires can operate a locking latch. In this way, an eight-fold gate lock, i.e. in eight places, without the operation being too stiff, as when using Bowden cables. Since the steel wires themselves act as springs, it is also expedient to dispense with the usual spring in the lock and in the locking bolt against which the spring is opened. As a result, the required actuation energy is very low.

The straight steel wire can easily be steered around 2 to 3 corners into corresponding bends without additional elements, such as roller or angle levers, to the locking bar, the wire or wires only describing an arc to change the direction and then continue to run straight. This makes production and assembly easier.

The steel wires are easily able to pull the movements of the lock bolt forward to the locking or locking bolts because they are stretched in the closed position of the door or gate. The movement of the lock or

The locking bolt at the connection point to the steel wire is usually about 1 to 3 cm. This is enough for a safe actuation of the locking latch in the open position.

The wires are preferably accommodated, at least partially, in a hollow profile of the gate wing. It is advisable to hold together in a thin metal or plastic tube in the case of several wires to different locking latches or snaps, from the lock to the insertion into a hollow profile of the door, where they run parallel to one another.

In this way, the steel wires are forced to follow a straight path in the guide tube until they take a different direction of movement, as a result of which the spring-back force of the wires is limited to the part of their longitudinal extent which lies immediately in front of the locking latches. In this way and through the guides provided for the rest, e.g. Eyelets, the lateral elastic deflection is essentially limited to the area in front of the locking bars. This can typically be 30 to 50 cm long.

When the gate is unlocked, in particular by rotating the lock handle, the steel wires are retracted by the lock bolt and the locking bolts are unlocked or moved into the release position, thereby eliminating any lateral deflection of the steel wires.

With electrical gate actuation, e.g. when the door is opened by a door drive, the lock bolt to which the steel wires are attached is also raised and the steel wires are retracted. The locking bolts release the gate.

When the gate closes, each locking or closing bolt is pushed back or pivoted back in a known manner by means of an inclined ramp surface. As a result of this pushing back or swiveling back, the steel wire is curved by shortening the path to the lock or to the first guide. Because of This forced lateral deflection of the steel wire produces an elastic spring tension, which ensures that the locking latch and / or locking latch or latches into the locking latch when the door closes due to the spring tension of the steel wire (s) and remains there under low tension until starting from Lock a new opening movement is initiated. No element of the lock is moved during this time.

The steel wire forms from the lock bolt or a rigid (push) rod or the like attached to it up to the closure or. Lockbolt is a one-piece connection that is able to be routed around a corner or two without problems, similar to a Bowden cable, but which not only describes this route, but, unlike Bowden cables, push rods or cables, assumes a spring effect for the lock and the locking bolts .

Due to the at least partial use of the steel wire instead of a push rod, a Bowden cable or a rope, neither elongated holes, e.g. in the case of push rods, additional springs in the push or swivel lock latch (snap) or deflection elements or rope pulleys, which produce a horizontal movement from a vertical, are necessary.

Another advantage of using steel wires for power transmission is that e.g. in the case of a sectional gate, the elastic steel wire can easily lead to locking bolts at any point via the movable section edges. The same applies to known sliding folding gates.

It is also advantageous that the steel wire can be accommodated in a hollow profile, in particular a hollow profile open to one side, of a gate element into which the steel wire can be inserted through a small hole. in the Profiles or the intermediate supports required for trouble-free operation can be accommodated.

The setting of a single locking bolt or snap is done, for example, by inserting the steel wire with a hook-shaped bend in a hole or with an eyelet via a pin on the bolt or the rod of the lock. Through several offset bores there is a fine adjustment, which is only in the range of a few millimeters. Such fine adjustments are possible without any problems, since each individual steel wire of a locking bolt can be fastened individually to the lock bolt or its rod in a known manner. It can also be clamped. Due to the spring action of the steel wire, it is held in place during adjustment without an additional holder, even when the lock spring is removed.

Finally, it is advantageous that the straightened steel wire does not require any nipples, threads, bores, elongated holes, screws, pins, bolts, protective spirals or hoses for fastening and guiding. The steel wires only need to be cranked by 90 ° at one end approx. 5 to 7 mm long. These offsets at right angles extend into a hole in the swivel, slide and lifting bolts of the lock and serve as a movable, swiveling connection between steel wire and bolt. Conveniently, they are held in place with a cover.

The same mechanism can be applied to a slide bolt of a common room door lock.

  • Fig. 2 einen Verschlußriegel mit drei Schließriegeln.
An embodiment of the invention is explained in more detail with reference to a drawing, in which shows
  • Fig. 1 is a swing gate with a conventional lock with a rotating handle and with snap locks, and
  • Fig. 2 shows a locking bolt with three locking bolts.

A gate wing has a conventional swing gate lock 6 with a lock bolt 13 designed as a lifting and sliding bolt, on which 5 directional steel wires 9, 10 and 11 of 1.5 to 2.5 mm in diameter are hooked or optionally clamped. The middle straightened and hardened steel wire 11 extends perpendicular to a locking bar into an opening of a floor profile at 5. Two further steel wires 10 actuate a locking bar near the floor at 3 and 4 on the left and right. The two further steel wires 9 lead to the upper lintel profile of the door leaf frame 12 in order to actuate two further locking bolts at 1 and 2.

The steel wires are supported at intervals of several decimeters by guides 7 on the inside of the gate frame. From the tension and lifting bolts of the lock to the floor profile, all 5 steel wires are combined in a short tube 8, which moves up and down when actuated with the steel wires. You therefore do not have to make any movement in the short tube 8, since they are moved with the tube at most 20, with certain locks up to 30 mm.

Of course, other locks can also be used, the drawbars and lifting bolts to the side, e.g. to the left or right, or upwards. Locks with attached swivel levers or turntables can also be used.

In Fig. 2, a locking bolt 20 is shown, the three locking bolts 21.1, 21.2 and 21.3 side by side in a cubic housing 22 from a front closed position to a rear Open position against stop pins 23 are retractably mounted. Each locking bolt is individually connected to a steel wire 24.1, 24.2 or 24.3, which is loosely guided in a wide plastic tube 25 and ends in fastening eyes 26. The locking bolts are pulled back together via the steel wires to unlock the door, but can lock independently when closed. Even if one locking bolt cannot snap into place for any reason, e.g. due to dirt, ice or excessive friction in the housing, the other locking bolts (or tongues) that are not disabled can snap into place. Overcoming by unauthorized persons is further complicated by several locking bolts per locking bolt. Also locking pins, not shown, the locking bolt, for. B. in the event of a long absence, secured against pushing back.

The eyelets can be attached directly to pins on the lock bolt or - if a push rod is connected to the lock bolt - to pins at the end. The steel wires 24 should have a length of at least about 10-30 cm and should extend to the locking bolts 21 so that they can be sufficiently deflected sideways to generate a sufficient restoring force without plastically deforming, e.g. B. to kink.

In the front end or closed position, the locking bolts 21 rest with a rear pin 27 on a transverse wall 28 of the housing 22, which guides them as well as a front wall 29 of the housing 22.
