Definitions
- the present invention relates to a gear pump according to the preamble of claim 1. It is known in the case of gear pumps of the type mentioned to seal rotor shafts guided outwards from the housing by means of labyrinth seals.
- a gear pump according to the invention is characterized by the characterizing features of claim 1.
- the bearing of the shaft is arranged in a separate bearing section in the housing axially on the inside and the labyrinth seal connects axially to the bearing section, a clear separation of functions between shaft bearing and sealing function is achieved so that the bearing shells can be designed without being affected by a groove profile and on the other hand the labyrinth seal can only correspond to its inherent functions, namely the sealing function.
- the aim is to manufacture the labyrinth sealing shells from a different material, for example from ceramic or special steel, and not from the same material as the housing cover, for example for reasons of wear, then it is proposed according to claim 3, by pressing, welding into the shaft receiving opening on the housing cover or glue to provide a sleeve with the labyrinth seal. Otherwise, a particularly simple solution is achieved in that the labyrinth seal is incorporated directly into the wall of the shaft receiving opening on the housing cover.
- the effect of the labyrinth seal can be adapted to the medium being conveyed.
- Another preferred embodiment is characterized by the wording of claim 6.
- the housing closure as a plate, in which both the labyrinth seal and the bearing section are accommodated, the number of surfaces to be sealed is further reduced and the flexibility e.g. revisions increased.
- the gear pump which is not shown in its details, has a central housing part 9 to which a lateral housing part 91 is attached at the end face by means of screw bolts 25.
- the rotors 3, which are designed as meshing gears, run around inside the housing, one of which is driven by the shaft 5.
- the lateral housing part 91 is provided with an opening 27 for the passage of the shaft 5 of the rotor 3, which forms a bearing section with bearing shells 29 for the shaft 5.
- the housing cover 7 is fastened axially on the lateral housing part 91 by means of screw bolts 11, which defines a corresponding bore 31 for the shaft 5 with a sealing section. A bushing 33 is let into the bore 31 for the shaft 5.
- the sleeve 33 made of a material that differs from the material of the housing cover 7, for example ceramic, has on its inside the labyrinth seal 21, as shown in dashed lines, preferably in the form of a threaded shaft seal.
- the bushing 33 is anchored in the bore 31 of the housing cover 7 in a non-detachable manner, for example fixed in a material or non-positive manner.
- the bearing section 27, 29 and the sealing section 21, 31 are structurally and functionally separate compared to previously known designs. This enables the use of materials that are optimally matched to the respective function (bearings or seals). A surface seal only has to be ensured between the housing cover 7 and the housing part 91. The problem of such sealing surfaces between the sleeve 33 and the housing cover 7 is eliminated.
- FIG. 2 shows a further preferred and simplified shaft bushing, in which, based on the embodiment according to FIG. 1, the labyrinth seal 21 is worked directly into the housing cover 7 or its bore.
- the housing cover 7 advantageously has a channel system 35 for a cooling medium, which, as shown, is preferably closed with an end plate 35a.
- the effect of the labyrinth seal can thus be optimally adapted to the material being conveyed.
- FIG. 3 shows: In a one-piece end plate 7a, which is anchored to the housing part 9 by means of screw bolts 11a , Both labyrinth seal 21 and the bearing shells 29 of the bearing section are arranged.

Abstract
Description
- Fig. 1 schematisch einen Längsteilschnitt einer ersten Ausführungsform mit der Zahnradpumpe im Bereich der Wellendurchführung;
