    characterized in that the lock (8) is designed to be fitted on the outside of the profiled part (1) and to be attached to a first wall (9) of the profiled part; in that the apparatus includes a casing (4) designed to be fitted on the inside of the profiled part and containing a second actuating means (7, 19); in that the first actuating means (17, 18) is designed to be supported by the lock (8) on the outside of the profiled part (1) and to traverse the said first wall (9) of the profiled part to cooperate with a corresponding shape of a said second actuating means (7 or 19) ; in that this said second actuating means (7 or 19) is kinematically linked to the blocking element (5, 6) through a second wall (3) of the profiled part to produce a translatory movement (T, C) or a rotative movement of the blocking element or elements (5 or 6), and in that the kinematic link between a said second actuating means (7 or 19) on the inside of the profiled part and a said blocking element (5, 6) is achieved by means of actuating plates which can slide over the side wall (3) of the profiled part.
  2. An apparatus as claimed in claim 1, characterized in that the locking element (11) blocks or allows movement of a manual control (20, 21) for the first actuating means (18).
  3. An apparatus as claimed in either of claims 1 or 2, characterized in that it presents an edge plate (1) with a U-shaped form surrounding the actuating plate of a blocking element (6), such that the said actuating plate slides inside the said U-shaped form.
  4. An apparatus as claimed in either of claims 1 or 2, characterized in that the coasting edge plate (1) presents a set shape in order to enable the actuating plates to slide freely between the side wall of the profiled part and the edge plate.
