Description

The invention relates to a method for the discontinuous wet treatment of a strand-like web according to the preamble of claim 1 and to a device for the discontinuous wet treatment of a strand-like web according to the preamble of claim 4.

In such a wet treatment, knitted and woven fabrics in strand form are transported in at least one circulation through a treatment compartment and, in the process, are especially dyed, bleached or washed.

In this state of the art, which is generally known from practice, the goods or web of goods are passed through the treatment compartment at least once in their entire length in order to come into contact with fresh liquor, chemicals or also necessary mechanical influences and in this way the required material - or bring about fleet exchange. The aim is to work at relatively high speeds.

High speeds of circulation allow a relatively low fleet ratio (the ratio of the quantity of goods to the amount of fleet), which means that treatment times, fleet consumption and energy consumption can be kept relatively low. However, high circulation speeds also have considerable disadvantages: there is often an unsafe web run (for example due to knots or the like); high accelerations of the web often lead to undesirably large longitudinal traction; fundamental transport problems also occur with extremely light and extremely heavy goods; Influences of foam and chemicals can lead to undesirable slippage during goods transport; furthermore, the surface of the web often experiences an undesirable mechanical roughening.

Attempts have also already been made to remedy some of the disadvantages mentioned above in that the transport of the material web for its circulation is supported by blowing in air or inert gas and at the same time feeding in the treatment liquor. This is done at particularly high speeds. However, the mechanical engineering effort is also particularly high.

The invention is therefore based on the object, while avoiding the disadvantages shown, to provide a method according to the preamble of claim 1 and a device according to the preamble of claim 4, by or through which a strand-like web of material with very reliable and relatively simple mechanical transport can be subjected to intensive and gentle wet treatment in a relatively short time.

This object is achieved by the method features in the characterizing part of claim 1 and by the device features in the characterizing part of claim 4.

Vorteilhafte Ausgestaltungen der Erfindung sind Gegenstand der Unteransprüche.Advantageous embodiments of the invention are the subject of the dependent claims.

According to the method of the invention, the discontinuous wet treatment of a strand-like web is carried out in such a way that two web sections running parallel to one another are treated simultaneously in one or each web circulation in two identical treatment zones of the treatment compartment which are adjacent and serve the same type of treatment. In other words, this means that, for example, an endlessly sewn to be treated web of material in the same treatment compartment is subjected to fresh liquor, chemicals or mechanical treatment agents at two points at the same time. If one compares this procedure with the known processes described above, then by the procedure according to the invention in the same cycle time as in known processes approximately twice the amount of goods can be wet-treated (dyeing, bleaching, or the like), or the same amount of web can be approximately half the time being treated; it is also possible, with the same quantities of goods and the same treatment times, to carry out a particularly gentle treatment of the respective web of material compared to the known designs.

In this method according to the invention, a web of material which is preferably sewn together endlessly can be treated to a certain extent in two partial circulation systems arranged parallel to one another. If one compares known methods with very short cycle times, which are achieved, for example, with a transport speed of 400 m / min, then transport speeds of, for example, 200 m / min are sufficient in the embodiment according to the invention, since two parallel web sections the two adjacent treatment zones one and the same Type of treatment or one and the same treatment compartment can run in parallel and simultaneously.

It is also advantageous here if the web of material is guided over transport rollers in the case of a plurality of treatment cycles and if at least some of the treatment liquor is squeezed out of the web in the transition from one treatment zone to the other, as a result of which a particularly rapid fleet exchange can be achieved.

The liquor ratio in this process according to the invention can be chosen freely in the range from 1: 2.5 to 1:10.

In the device according to the invention for the discontinuous wet treatment of a strand-like web, the treatment compartment is usefully divided into two adjacent treatment chambers for one and the same type of treatment which are passed through parallel and simultaneously by two web sections. The transport members are arranged in the connection between the two treatment chambers.

It is also particularly advantageous if the two treatment chambers are arranged in the associated treatment compartment in such a way that the inlet end of one treatment chamber is immediately adjacent to the outlet end of the other treatment chamber and the connection between each outlet end and the adjacent inlet end is formed by a transport roller is.

Furthermore, it is advantageous to form the two treatment chambers of a treatment compartment by two shopping baskets with perforated walls and to suspend these two shopping baskets as a unit in the manner of a pendulum scale. A potentiometer is assigned to this shopping cart unit in such a way that when the two shopping baskets of a pair are loaded differently, a rotary or pendulum movement of this shopping cart unit can be scanned by the potentiometer and a load compensation control for the two shopping baskets can be activated. In this way, an extremely safe and reliable circulation of the web of goods can be guaranteed by an even distribution of the two shopping baskets in one unit and thus also an extremely uniform aftertreatment.

As can be seen in Figure 1, each treatment chamber 4, 5 has an inlet end 4a and 5a and an opposite outlet end 4b and 5b, and these two treatment chambers 4, 5 are arranged in the associated treatment compartment 1 such that the inlet end one treatment chamber is located directly next to the outlet end of the other treatment chamber, ie the inlet end 4a of the treatment chamber 4 is located directly next to the outlet end 5b of the treatment chamber 5, while the outlet end 4b of the first chamber 4 lies directly adjacent to the inlet end 5a of the second chamber 5. The connection between each outlet end 4b or 5b and the adjacent inlet end 4a or 5a is then formed by the respectively associated transport roller 6 or 7, which with its axis of rotation 6a or 7a is preferably parallel to and at a corresponding distance above the one immediately adjacent Partitions 8 and 9 are between the two treatment chambers 4, 5.

The two treatment chambers of each treatment compartment 1 are preferably formed by two shopping baskets 4, 5 with perforated walls (cf. perforation indicated at 10 in FIG. 1). These two shopping baskets 4, 5 are preferably suspended as a unit (pair) in the manner of a pendulum scale, which is indicated in FIG. 1 by a type of balance beam 11 and a pendulum axis 12, around which the shopping cart unit 4, 5 in the direction of the goods load is unequal Double arrow 3 can rotate or oscillate.

This shopping cart unit 4, 5 is assigned a potentiometer 14 in such a way that when the two shopping baskets 4, 5 are loaded unevenly, a rotating or oscillating movement of the shopping cart unit occurs in the direction of the heavier or more filled shopping cart. This pendulum movement in one or the other direction of the double arrow 13 can be sensed by the potentiometer 14, as a result of which a corresponding measurement signal is forwarded to a control device 15, which is indicated only in a simplified manner and from which a corresponding control signal is forwarded to one of the two transport rollers 6 or 7 in the sense is that a load balancing control for the two shopping carts 4, 5 can be activated. The latter can be achieved in a simple manner by a corresponding change in the rotational speed of at least one of the two transport rollers 6 or 7. For this purpose, the two transport rollers 6, 7 are provided with separate drives, each with a separate drive motor 16 or 17 (FIG. 2), so that they can be driven at a separately controllable rotational speed in the direction of the arrows 6b or 7b. The potentiometer 14 is in control connection with these drive motors via the control device 15.

From FIGS. 1 and 2 it can also be seen that each transport roller 6, 7 is assigned an ejection roller 18 and 19, respectively. Each squeezing roller 18, 19 is - as can be seen in Fig.2 with the left squeezing roller 18 - mounted in swivel arms 20 freely rotatably, in such a way that each squeezing roller 18 or 19 optionally or if necessary against the associated transport roller 6 or 7 can be pressed, whereby a nip is formed between the two pairs of rollers 6 and 18 or 7 and 19 interacting here, through which the material web 2 to be treated can be transported, so that, if necessary, at least part of the treatment fleet carried out of the Material web 2 can be squeezed off, this squeezed liquor then being able to flow back into the outlet end 4b or 5b of the associated shopping cart 4 or 5 underneath.

As far as the design of the shopping baskets 4, 5 is concerned, they can be produced in any suitable form that is suitable for the treatment method according to the invention. However, it is particularly preferred to design the shopping baskets 4, 5 in the manner of the same size, U-shaped channels, as illustrated in FIGS. 1 and 2.

In addition, it is preferred to arrange the shopping basket unit with the baskets 4, 5 in a common treatment container 22 containing the treatment liquor 21. By means of a suitable type of perforation of the shopping cart walls already mentioned above, on the one hand enough treatment liquor 21 penetrates into each shopping cart 4, 5 immersed in the treatment liquor, on the other hand this perforation 10 of the shopping cart walls simultaneously ensures an extremely good mixing of the treatment liquor during the treatment process .

5 ausgebildet, wobei jeder Overflow-Trichter 23 an eine Flottenleitung 25 angeschlossen ist.1 and 2 also illustrate that in the area of the upper inlet end 4a or 5a of each treatment chamber or shopping cart 4 or 5 and below the associated transport roller 6 or 7 a nozzle-shaped web 2 passed through by the strand-like fabric web 2 Overflow funnel 23 is arranged. Below each overflow funnel 23 there is also preferably a baffle plate 24 receiving and conveying the web of material. Each overflow funnel is designed for a directional insertion of the web strand into the associated treatment chamber or the shopping basket 4 or 5 forming it, each overflow funnel 23 being connected to a liquor line 25.

The design and arrangement of each overflow funnel 23 and its arrangement with the associated baffle plate 24 ensure in an optimal manner that the section of the strand-like material web 2 coming from the associated transport roller 6 or 7 is clean and preferably with perfect pleat laying in the inlet end of the associated one Cart 4 or 5 is introduced. It is sufficient to arrange the overflow funnel 23 and the downstream baffle plate 24 in a suitable manner or to arrange them together. However, it can also be advantageous if the overflow funnel 23 and the baffle plate 24 are suitably adjustable so that a subsequent readjustment of these parts is possible if necessary.

On the basis of the simplified schematic representation in FIG. 3, it can also be seen that the continuous wet treatment device according to the invention, as previously explained with the aid of a single shopping cart unit with shopping baskets 4 and 5 (FIGS. 1 and 2), also with multiple shopping cart units 1 a , 1 b, 1 can be equipped in one and the same treatment container 22 ', in which case these shopping cart units 1 a, 1 b, 1 are arranged in a modular manner next to one another in the common treatment container 22' and, for the same treatment process, a plurality of parallel, in each case endlessly rotating webs of goods in the same liquor bath 21 'can be operated. This is mainly possible for larger systems or devices, in which case each shopping basket unit 1 a, 1 b, 1 can work with an optimal goods content (degree of goods filling). Here, too, each shopping cart unit again consists of two shopping baskets 4, 5 with perforated walls, as has been explained in detail above with reference to FIGS. 1 and 2.

Regardless of whether the device is designed with just a single shopping cart unit 4, 5 or more shopping cart units of the same design and modularly adjacent to one another, each of these shopping cart units operates according to the same procedure described above, according to which two web sections 2a, 2b in parallel run with each web circulation two identical treatments lying next to each other and serving the same type of treatment treatment zones (treatment chambers or shopping baskets 4, 5) of the treatment compartment 1 are treated simultaneously, preferably in an endlessly sewn strand form in any number of cycles. In these cycles, it could happen, for example, due to slippage on the transport rollers 6, 7, that different web fill quantities are contained in the two shopping carts 4, 5 of one unit. This can easily be compensated for by the pendulous suspension of each shopping cart unit and the associated control via the potentiometer 14, each shopping cart unit being held or suspended in the manner of a pendulum scale. If, for example, there is less goods in the left basket of a unit than in the right one, then this basket unit tilts in the direction of the right basket. This rotary or pendulum movement about the pendulum axis 12 is sensed with the aid of the potentiometer 14, so that the drive 15 for the pull-out speed of the right shopping cart upward and, if appropriate, the pull-out speed for the other transport roller on the left shopping cart downward is corrected via the control device 15 .

A numerical example is intended to illustrate the method according to the invention again, for example with reference to FIG. 1:
  • It is assumed that there is goods (a web) in a quantity of 150 kg in a shopping cart unit; the running meter weight is 200 g / m, with which 5 running meters of material weigh 1 kg, so that the 150 kg of goods mean a length of 750 m.

The target orbital period should be a maximum of 4 minutes. If the previously defined material web were to be wet-treated according to one of the known processes described at the outset, the transport speed for the material web circulation would have to be at least 187.5 m / min so that the entire material web length passes through the liquor bath once.

Since with the method according to the invention, two web sections running parallel to one another are simultaneously treated in two identical, adjacent treatment zones (shopping baskets 4, 5) of the same treatment compartment 1, the web only needs a transport speed of a maximum of 93.75 m / min to be transported, so that the entire length of the web can completely penetrate the bath in the above 4 minutes. On the other hand, if the process according to the invention is operated at the same circulation speed as in the known processes mentioned, that is to say at 187.5 m / min, then the circulation time for one circulation of the entire web (with treatment according to the invention) drops to 2 minutes, so that the wet treatment process then can take place in about half the time compared to the known methods.

If one compares the possibility of assembling several such shopping cart units in a single common treatment container in a modular manner, the wet treatment performance of the device expanded in this way is multiplied by the number of shopping cart units used.
