Definitions

  • the invention relates to a training device according to the preamble of claim 1.
  • a generic exercise device is known from US-A 4 705 493.
  • US-A 4 705 493 With this arrangement, when retensioning a belt running between a large and a small pulley by deflecting a deflection roller due to the spring force of a spring, the working strand and the empty strand of the belt move towards one another and there is a risk of them touching. Therefore, the smaller pulley cannot be made with an arbitrarily small diameter.
  • FR-A 927 986 discloses a flat belt with a tread profile serrated in cross section for an arrangement with a large and small pulley formed with a corresponding circumferential profile.
  • the toothed tread pattern of the flat belt according to the invention not only results in extremely low-noise operation, but at the same time also ensures reliable transferability of high performance.
  • the tread pattern also results in a reliable Belt guide so that it cannot run even under heavy use.
  • the flat belt according to the invention enables the use of a comparatively small diameter of the brakeable pulley, with which a large, one-stage transmission ratio can be achieved with a compact design.
  • the deflection roller can be accommodated on a swivel lever of great length, the swivel axis parallel to the axes of the pulley, together with the axis of the deflection roller in the tensioned position, lying in a plane that is approximately perpendicular with respect to the working strand of the belt.
  • the circular movement curve of the pulley affects a parallel to the belt's working run. Due to the large length of the swivel lever, similar conditions can be achieved as in the case of a straight guide, despite the oscillating suspension of the deflection roller.
  • the wrap angle that can be achieved is also approximately 180 ° here.
  • the length of the pivot lever can expediently be at least 5 times, preferably 6 times, the radius of the deflection roller.
  • the curvature of the movement curve of the deflection roller is practically no longer noticeable.
  • the long swivel lever is advantageously mounted on a standing spar of the device frame, which enables a large swivel lever length even when the swivel lever is suspended.
  • tension spring which is preferably designed as a tension spring, is arranged approximately at right angles to the pivoting lever, which results in clear force relationships.
  • the training device on which FIG. 1 is based in the form of a bicycle ergonomometer, contains a frame designed here as a tube construction with a lower support beam 1 which laterally protrudes to ensure sufficient stability and a structure 2 fastened thereon, which carries a seat 3 and a holding bracket 4.
  • the structure 2 is provided with a bottom bracket 5 arranged below the seat 3 for a pedal arrangement 6 which can be actuated by a person taking a seat on the seat 3.
  • a braking device 7 arranged on the frame, here in the form of a generator placed on the support beam 1 in front of the structure 2, can be driven, by means of which the power that is exercised by the training person is destroyed.
  • the so destructible performance is in the field of view the training person arranged, here attached to the bracket 4 adjusting and display 8 adjustable and displayable.
  • the setting and display device 8, which is connected to the braking device 7 by means of a signal line 9, is provided with a manually operable setting member 10, here in the form of an adjusting button cooperating with a scale, and a display 11.
  • the setting and display device 8 can also be provided with an integrated program control device which specifies a desired course of the power which can be destroyed by the braking device 7, as a result of which, for example, natural conditions in the form of ascent and descent and the like can be simulated .
  • a single-stage belt drive 12 which is designed such that, despite its single-stage design, a high gear ratio of 1:15 to 1:25, preferably 1:20 to 1:22 , results.
  • a relatively large diameter pulley 14 is wedged onto the shaft 13 of the pedal arrangement 6.
  • the input shaft stub of the generator forming the braking device 7 is designed as a further pulley 15 of comparatively small diameter.
  • the pulley 14 of large diameter which can be driven by the pedal arrangement 6 and the pulley 15 of small diameter which can be braked by the braking device 7 are connected to one another by an endless belt 16 connected.
  • the diameter of the smaller pulley 15 can be 20mm.
  • the belt 16 is, as can best be seen from FIG. 2, in the form of a flat belt which has a tread profile 17 which is toothed in cross section in a roof shape. Accordingly, there are triangular webs or grooves in cross section. At least one of the two pulleys 14, 15 is provided with a circumferential profile 18 which is adapted to the tread profile 17 of the belt 16 and has corresponding grooves and webs. As a rule, it is sufficient if at least the smaller pulley 15 has the circumferential profile 18 mentioned.
  • the larger pulley 14 can have a cylindrical tread.
  • the mentioned profiling of the belt 16 and at least the smaller pulley 15 ensures reliable belt guidance and reliable power transmission with little slippage. Nevertheless, even with a small pulley diameter of the order of 20mm, there is a gentle belt circulation.
  • the belt 16 according to the invention thus combines the advantages of flat and V-belts and avoids the mutual disadvantages.
  • the smaller pulley 15 is assigned a device 19 for increasing the wrap angle of the belt 16.
  • This consists of a in and out of the driving, larger pulley 14 freely rotatably mounted deflection roller 20 which engages on the braked, smaller pulley 15 and runs freely on the belt 16.
  • This can be provided with lateral guide flanges.
  • the deflection roller 20 is acted upon by an associated tension spring 21 in such a way that the empty run of the belt 16 is deflected inward in relation to the tangential course indicated by a dashed line.
  • the deflection roller 20 is arranged such that the portion of the belt run that runs onto the smaller pulley 15 runs approximately parallel to the section of the belt working run that runs from the pulley 15 and the belt 16 the smaller pulley 15 accordingly at an angle of 180 ° wraps around.
  • the deflection roller 20 can be slidably mounted on a longitudinal guide running approximately parallel to the working run of the belt 16.
  • the deflection roller 20 is received on a pivot lever 22 which is suspended in a pendulum manner on a standing spar of the structure 2.
  • the pivot lever 22, ie the distance between its pivot axis and the axis of the deflection roller 20, has a length of at least 5 times, preferably 7-, which is comparatively large with respect to the size of the deflection roller 20. up to 9 times the effective deflection roller radius.
  • the diameter of the deflection roller 20 can be 40-50mm.
  • the pivot bearing 23 of the pivot lever 22 is placed so that the pivot axis of the pivot lever 22 and the axis of the deflection roller 20 are in a common plane which is perpendicular to the working strand of the belt 16.
  • the length of the belt 16 is accordingly dimensioned so that in the tensioning position on which FIG.
  • This is designed as a spring with a comparatively soft spring characteristic, that is to say a low spring constant, so that the spring force exerted thereby is practically constant within a small spring travel.
  • the tension spring 21 is arranged here so that the spring axis extends approximately perpendicular to the pivot lever axis, whereby the fluctuation in the spring length is minimized.
  • the tension spring 21 engages on the one hand on the axis 24 of the deflection roller 20 and on the other hand on a retaining bolt 25 fastened to the support beam 1.
  • the ends of the tension spring 21 are designed as suspension claws.
