Un dispositif pour l'ébarbage de noyaux de fonderie (3) et de pièces similaires, comportant un dispositif vibrant, une infrastructure (10) fixe supportant le dispositif vibrant et un gabarit d'ébarbage (4), est constitué, pour assurer un ébarbage efficace avec un moindre risque d'endommagement de la pièce et une moindre usure de l'outil, de telle manière que le mouvement de vibration du dispositif vibrant s'effectue uniquement dans le sens vertical et qu'il n'existe aucun jeu entre les contours du noyau (3) à ébarber et ceux du gabarit d'ébarbage (4), de sorte que les bavures sont coupées lorsqu'on fait passer le noyau (3) à travers le gabarit d'ébarbage (4).
