Description

The invention relates to a household oven with an oven housing, an oven muffle and an oven door with a handle for handling this oven door, heated air and / or vapors escaping or being blown out of the oven housing in the area above the oven muffle,

Circulating cooling, which is usually caused by a fan or at least supported, serves, among other things, to cool the electronics of the cooker when the cooker is in operation and also not to excessively heat the side wall parts when the oven is in operation. Such modes of operation for cooling the electronics and for cooling the side walls of the cooker are known per se. In several embodiments of an oven, the vapors and the cooling air are released below the handle bar of the loading door; the result was that the handle could become very hot. Heating the handle of the loading door is disadvantageous and should be avoided.

For example, a furnace with an oven door has become known (US Pat. No. 3,939,817), in which vapors discharged from the interior of the furnace are blown out through a channel formed above the upper edge of the door in the housing such that the vapors emerging from this channel have a suction effect on flow openings and channels in the door and its handle. The requirement of a separate outlet channel is complex and requires additional height.

It is an object of the invention to provide favorable outlet conditions for the cooling air and / or the water and to design the handle bar of the loading door of the oven so that the vapors of the oven and / or the cooling air for cooling the side walls and the electronics above the oven muffle and so that usually can flow out below the control panel without heating the handle of the handle bar.

A domestic oven with a handle bar, which does this task to a high degree, is characterized according to the invention in that the handle bar extending over the width of the stove housing is arranged in front of the outlet openings for the cooling air and / or the vapors, that this handle bar in the central area has a handle design and that flow deflectors are arranged in the area of this handle design for deflecting the cooling air and / or the fumes from this area.

An oven door equipped with a handle strip according to these features of the invention opens up the possibility for a large-area arrangement of ventilation openings for cooling air and / or vapors above the oven muffle, specifically almost over the entire area behind the handle bar, without the actual handle area, which is designed in the middle of the handle bar, being influenced by heated air.

According to a further development, the oven door according to the invention with the handle strip is characterized in that a hump formation is arranged in the area above the handle configuration, which tapers the gap extending over the oven door between it and the oven housing. The Hökker is gently sloping towards the furnace housing and has a sloping edge towards the front. If air is blown over the hump, a negative pressure is created in the area of the falling edge. The vacuum is used to use cold air to cool the handle of the handle bar.

This development is preferably designed such that the hump formation is wedge-shaped - the gap between the oven door and the oven housing tapers outwards.

In the case of an oven door with a handle strip according to this development, it is provided that at least one partial stream of the cooling air and / or of the vapors emerging from the oven housing exits through a gap formed between the oven housing (control panel area) and the oven door or handle bar, this gap in the area of the Handle design is tapered, which in this area on the one hand reduces the air flow and on the other hand is slightly deflected upwards - rather accelerated. This leads on the one hand to the fact that the area of the handle configuration is essentially unaffected by this air flow and on the other hand to the fact that the warm exhaust air flow makes it cold Fresh air is entrained in the area of the handle, the fresh air contributing to cooling the handle.

According to another development, the oven door according to the invention with a handle strip is characterized in that flow-deflecting ribs are arranged in the side behind the handle configuration in the area opposite the front of the oven housing and flow-through openings in the area to the side of the handle configuration.

In the case of a handle strip designed in this way, at least a partial flow, in particular the main flow of the cooling air emerging or blown out of the hearth housing and / or of the fumes, is passed through the throughflow openings arranged laterally in the handle strip. In the area of the handle configuration, the flow deflection ribs arranged there deflect the air flow to the flow openings laterally, so that the handle configuration remains undisturbed by this air flow. The handle bar is continued horizontally on the side next to the handle configuration, so that the openings for the airflow outlet in the handle bar are thereby covered visually.

As can be seen from the inventive features, essentially two constructive measures are provided to avoid heating the handle of the handle bar, namely on the one hand the formation of a hump in the area of the handle of the handle bar and on the other hand the deflection of the heated cold air by the flow deflectors from the area of the handle . However, it is within the scope of the invention to avoid heating the handle using only one of the two constructive measures, for example using only one Work hump on the handle bar, which also achieves the goal.

A household stove 1 has an oven muffle 2, which an oven door 3 which can be swung open downwards is closed. The upper area of the oven door 3 is closed by a handle bar 6, which extends over the entire width of the oven door 3. The front wall 1 'of the household stove 1 has above the oven muffle 2 and behind the handle 6 openings 8 which extend across the width of the oven. The openings serve to allow cooling air A, which flows through the furnace housing - possibly supported by a blower - for cooling purposes, to escape to the front.

The handle bar 6 carries on its upper door edge 7 a strip-like elevation a hump 10. The hump 10 extends across the width of the handle configuration 9 on the handle bar 6. As a result, as shown in dashed lines, the vapors or the Xühlluft A from Handle design 9 kept away, such that the gap remaining in this area leads to a reduction and rather acceleration of the air flow occurring there. The wedge-shaped configuration of this hump 10 also directs the air flow somewhat upwards. The acceleration of the air flow also ensures that this air flow is passed on with a high degree of certainty and, in particular, that the handle configuration is not reached and is therefore not influenced.

It is particularly advantageous here that the warm cooling air emerging from the gap generates a negative pressure in the region of the strongly falling edge 10 ', as a result of which cold fresh air is sucked in from below via the door handle. This further cools the door handle, but also the warm cooling air emerging from the gap mixes with the fresh air and thus also cools down. Next to this above the handle formation 9 arranged hump 10, the gap between the oven door 3 (or handle bar 6) remains tapered, so that there the airflow portion can escape unhindered in this gap area.

In the rear part of the handle bar 6 9 throughflow openings 12 are arranged on both sides of the handle configuration, through which the main stream of air emerging from the openings 8 of the oven housing can pass. In the area of the handle configuration 9, flow deflection ribs 15 serve to discharge the air A emerging there from the oven housing laterally to the throughflow openings 12 of the handle bar 6.

In Fig. 2 the handle bar 6 is shown in the view according to arrow 11 of FIG. 3. The protruding hump 10 above the handle configuration 9 of the handle bar 6 is clearly visible. The back, i.e. the side of the handle bar 6 facing the openings 8 in Fig. 1 of the oven housing is in the central region, i.e. closed in the area of the handle configuration 9 and wedge-shaped - as can be seen in particular from FIG. 3 - designed. As can be seen, there are flow-through openings 12 in the rear section of the handle bar 6 in its rear section, through which the cooling air A can pass below the projecting area of the handle bar 6.

As can be seen from Fig. 3, the handle bar 6 is shown in the view from above. In the dashed line of illustration, ribs 15, which are angled in the shape of a roof, can be seen in the rear region of the handle bar 6 behind the handle configuration 9. Through this angled roof-shaped Ribs are prevented that heated cooling air can escape below the handle configuration 9. Rather, the heated cooling air obtained there is discharged laterally to the throughflow openings 12 provided there in the handle strip. A substantial part of the cooling air and vapors, however, flows outside via the hump 10, the above-mentioned effect, namely the suction effect of the cooling air flow, occurring.

In Fig. 3a, the handle bar 6 is also shown, here the handle configuration 9 is shell-shaped. As can be seen, the handle configuration has a slot 17; it serves to take advantage of the negative pressure which arises when the cooling air exits via the hump 10 of the handle bar 6 and to suck in cool fresh air under the handle shell 18. The handle shell is therefore always cool.

As can also be seen from FIG. 4, the handle bar 6 is shown here in a side view. The vapors and cooling air A emerging from the stove are, among other things, as can be seen, deflected upward from the handle configuration 9 by the hump 10.

As can be seen, no heated exhaust air can be removed in the area of the handle 9. 6 also shows the handle bar 6, however, in a part facing away from the handle on the left or right, in section VI-VI according to FIG. 3. The heated cooling air flows into the handle at 3 and leaves it laterally from the handle 9 as though represented the arrow A and at 13 through the throughflow opening 12.

As can be seen from FIG. 5a, the flow of the warm cooling air via the hump 10 of the handle bar and the flow of the fresh air 19 through the slot 17 are shown here in a section along the section line Va-Va of FIG. 3a through the shell-shaped handle 18. The fresh air acts on the handle shell 18 ', so that the handle 18 remains cool.

The handle bar 6 can be made of different materials. For reasons of injection molding, aluminum is suitable or, above all, plastic due to the good thermal insulation. It can be attached to the loading door 7 as desired. The fastening edges 16 shown in FIG. 2 can also be designed in a different way; they are shown here only as an example.
