Description

Gummituchzylinders gemäß dem Oberbegriff des Patentanspruches 1.The invention relates to support devices in a cylinder pit of a plate or blanket cylinder according to the preamble of claim 1.

Cylinder pits in printing unit cylinders allow a respective counter-pressure cylinder to bend due to pressure relief in the area of the cylinder pits and are therefore the main reason for the build-up of bending vibrations that lead to streaking on a printed product.

Die CH-PS 643 780 gibt keinerlei Hinweis, wie eine schmale Leiste in einer engen Zylindergrube zu befestigen ist.CH-PS 643 780 shows a support device for a doctor blade on a cylinder of a sheet-fed rotary printing press. The support device arched across a wide cylinder pit. The CH-PS 643 780 gives no indication of how to fix a narrow strip in a narrow cylinder pit.

Die vorgeschlagene Abdeckung ist nicht geeignet, in schmalen Gruben eingesetzt zu werden.DE-PS 701 996 shows a device which is suitable for covering a wide cylinder pit on a printing plate cylinder for a sheet-fed rotary gravure printing machine in such a way that contamination of the actuating means by printing ink is avoided. The proposed cover is not suitable for use in narrow pits.

Locking bars with wedge-shaped projections are known from DE-PS 24 37 758. The Locking strips can be moved in horizontal recesses in the two side walls of a pit of a printing press cylinder. Their wedge-shaped projections can be brought into engagement with wedge-shaped locking counterparts of a wide insert. As a result, the insert is held in a pit. With the proposed device, it is not possible to attach a narrow bar in a narrow pit.

The invention has for its object to provide a releasable support device in a narrow pit of a plate or blanket cylinder, by its type of attachment ensures that the support device is always supported directly on the bottom of the pit or a component firmly connected to the bottom of the pit.

The object is achieved by the characterizing parts of claims 1, 2, 3.

The advantages that can be achieved with the invention are, in particular, that the effectiveness of the reduction of the cylinder bumps during the passage through a long pit is increased further, the support strip can be easily removed from the pit or lowered into it when a printing plate or rubber blanket is inserted into the tensioning device should be threaded.

In addition, the support can be used in a narrow pit of a plate or blanket cylinder will. The effectiveness of reducing cylinder bumps when passing a long pit is further increased, and it is possible to use blankets or blankets, the ends of which need not be specially designed. The insertion of the printing plate or blanket ends into the plate or blanket tensioning device by the support device is not hindered. In addition, the support device can be long.

A plate or rubber cylinder 1 has an axially parallel pit 2. In the pit 2 are clamping elements 3; 4 arranged. The clamping elements 3; 4 are, for example, as a clamping spindle 3; 4 executed and each have a device (not shown) for receiving a printing plate or blanket end 8; 9 on. Between the clamping spindles 3; 4, a profile rail 53 is screwed to the base 13 of the groove 12 in the middle of the pit 2 in a pit-long groove 12 by means of a plurality of fastening screws 52. In the inserted position, the support bar 46 is wedged with a profile rail 53 by means of a tensioning element designed as a truncated cone 27. The truncated cone 27 is arranged at a left end of the pit 2 in a vertical bore 29 in the plate or rubber cylinder 1. The bore 29 intersects the pit 2 at its left end, so that there is a vertical gap through which a left end 32 of the support bar 46, which is bevelled in accordance with the angle of inclination of the truncated cone 27, projects into the bore 29. The truncated cone 27 has a bore 34 in the middle for receiving a pressure screw 33. The pressure screw 33 protrudes through the bore 34 and ends in a threaded hole 36 in the plate or rubber cylinder 1 in the extension of the bore 29. When the pressure screw 33 is tightened, the truncated cone 27 is moved vertically downward and acts with its conical surface 37 from above on the slope 32 of the support bar 46, so that this horizontally to the right pushed and held there. Below the truncated cone 27 and above the threaded hole 36, the pressure screw 33 has a collar 38 which, when the pressure screw 33 is unscrewed, presses against the truncated cone 27 from below and pushes it vertically upward from a wedge position. In order to be able to remove the support bar 46 from the cylinder pit 2, it must be shifted horizontally to the left. For this purpose, a gap 42 is provided at a right end of the cylinder pit 2 between a cylinder wall 41 and a right end of the support bar 46, into which a lever tool 43 can be inserted in order to reach an engagement point 44 in the support bar 46. When the lever tool 43 is actuated, it is supported on the cylinder wall 41 and displaces the support bar 46 to the left, so that the projections 21 come out of engagement with the spaces 28. The support bar 46 can now be removed from the cylinder pit 2. After removal of the support bar 46, there is enough space in the cylinder pit 2 around the printing plate or blanket ends 8; 9 to be able to thread freely into the clamping devices 3, 4. After threading, the support bar 46 is reinstalled. The support bar 46 projects so far out of the pit 2 that the diameter of the cylinder 1 at this point is then equal to the diameter of the cylinder body 1 with the pressure plate 8 or rubber blanket 9. When used in blanket cylinders, the support bar 46 naturally projects out of the pit 2 in a correspondingly adapted manner. An end face 39 of the support bar 46 made of steel or hard plastic can be coated with a tough elastic material. The narrow pit gap between the two printing plate or blanket ends 8; 9 is completely filled and covered by the support bar 46.

In a first exemplary embodiment (FIG. 1), a support bar 46 is provided, which has two parallel, z. B. rectangular, grooves 48, 49. The support bar 46 is inserted from a cylinder end face into an upwardly tapering groove 56, 57 on the groove base 13. You can e.g. B. are formed from a longitudinally slotted profile rail 53 fastened by means of fastening screws 52 to the groove base 13. The support bar 46 is fixed or released by means of the previously described clamping and releasing device 27, 43. The rail 53 has z. B. the shape of a longitudinally slotted rectangular tube, so that a, the two grooves 48, 49 separating web 54 comes to rest exactly in the slot 56, 57 of the rail 53.

In a second exemplary embodiment (FIGS. 3 to 6), a support bar 71 is provided which consists of individual links 73 which are connected to one another by means of coupling 72. The links 73 each have a projection 74 on the right and a slot 76 of the same size on the left at the same height, so that two links 73 arranged one behind the other fit exactly into one another. Each link 73 has a hollow body 75 at a lower end, into which the coupling 72 engages so as to be displaceable. So it is possible that the links 72 are complete can be pushed into one another and thus form a continuous end face 39.

The chain consisting of links 73 and couplers 72 can be threaded laterally from a cylinder face or from above at a cylinder pit end between a bearer ring 77 and a pressure surface 78 into a guide groove which is directly or indirectly fastened to the cylinder 1 and runs parallel to the cylinder axis.

Of course, it is also possible to insert the links 73 individually into the guide groove without coupling 72.

In a third exemplary embodiment (FIGS. 7 to 9), a support bar 79 is provided, which is arranged in the cylinder pit 2 so as to be able to be lowered vertically downward, but not displaceable horizontally. The support bar 79 has a comb-like distribution over its entire length of a plurality of vertical inclined projections 81, with which they lie flat on a number of inclined projections 82 corresponding to the number of the projections 81 of a horizontally displaceable support rail 83 and are held by means of several slide guides 84. The slide guides 84 each consist of an upwardly open circular groove 80 in a respective projection 82 of the support rail 83 and a cylindrical lower part 90 of the projections 81 of the support rail 79 which is respectively adapted to the circular groove 80. The support rail 83 is in a longitudinal groove 86 in the bottom 85 of the pit 2 horizontally, but not vertically stored. The support rail 83 is formed at one end as a rack 87 and is in meshing engagement with a spur gear 88. The spur gear 88 is rotatably mounted in the pit 2 in the cylinder body 1 and has a receptacle on an upwardly directed side surface 89 arranged parallel to the groove base 85 91 for a tool 92.

When the spur gear 88 rotates clockwise, the support rail 83 is shifted horizontally to the right. The vertically guided support bar 79 slides down, forcibly guided by the guide 84, so that the projections 81 in spaces 94 between two projections 82 and the projections 82 in spaces 93 come to lie between two projections 81. In this way, depending on the displacement of the support rail 83, the support bar 79 can be lowered more or less deeply, so that the threading of the printing plate or rubber blanket ends 8; 9 is not hindered.
