Description

  • La présente invention concerne une semelle intérieure de chaussure.
  • Le pied a, par sa conformation osseuse plus ou moins arquée, une surface inférieure qui ne s'appuie pas sur le sol de manière uniforme et dont les différentes parties sont inégalement sollicitées.
  • La voûte plantaire est suspendue à la manière d'un chapiteau et est soutenue musculairement, ce qui lui donne une relative flexibilité lui permettant d'absorber les différentes pressions appliquées par le poids du corps sur la surface inférieure du pied pendant la station debout, la marche, la course ou le port de charges lourdes, et de constituer un amortisseur de ce poids.
  • Le talon, les têtes métatarsiennes, et notamment la première et la cinquième, ainsi que le gros orteil sont les surfaces d'appui les plus sollicitées.
  • Pour soutenir le pied et répartir son appui sur le sol, il existe actuellement de nombreuses semelles offrant un profil anatomique, pouvant être regroupées en deux types principaux :
    • d'une part, celles réalisées industriellement, qui ont un profil correspondant à la forme générale de la surface inférieure du pied et qui peuvent comprendre des matières de rembourrage souples ou amortissantes sur tout ou partie de leur surface et en particulier au niveau des parties du pied soumises à des appuis importants voire à des chocs. Ces semelles présentent l'inconvénient de ne pas assurer un soutien efficace du pied puisqu'elles ne sont pas adaptées à la morphologie de la voûte plantaire de chaque utilisateur, qui est très variable suivant les individus; il en résulte une sollicitation douloureuse du muscle soutenant la voûte plantaire, pouvant entraîner des crampes ;
    • d'autre part, des semelles intérieures moulées à la forme de la surface inférieure du pied de l'utilisateur et qui l'épousent parfaitement. Ces semelles assurent un bon soutien de la voûte plantaire, mais ne peuvent être réalisées industriellement, et sont réservées à des emplois particuliers par des personnes ayant les compétences et le matériel nécessaires à leur réalisation, tel que des podologues ou des orthopédistes.
  • Le document EP-A-118 319 décrit une semelle adaptable à la forme du pied de l'utilisateur par chauffage à 140°C, mise en place dans la chaussure et appui immédiat du pied.
  • Les documents US-A-3 895 405 et US-A-3 896 516 décrivent des semelles adaptables à la forme du pied par chauffage, avec indication des moyens de chauffage dans l'un et l'autre cas.
  • Le document EP-A-0 154 170 concerne un procédé de mise en forme d'une semelle avec durcissement par micro-ondes après son adaptation.
  • Le but de l'invention est de fournir une semelle qui soit réalisée industriellement, et qui possède néanmoins des capacités d'adaptation immédiate à la forme du pied de l'utilisateur, sans nécessiter la mise en oeuvre de moyens complexes. Un autre but de l'invention est de fournir une semelle adaptée à la forme du pied de l'utilisateur, c'est-à-dire assurant un soutien anatomique précis, mais néanmoins élastique, pour remplir la fonction physiologique d'amortisseur et assurer un bon confort.
  • A cet effet, la semelle qu'elle concerne réalisée en un matériau thermoformable semi-rigide et obtenue par moulage de façon à présenter un profil correspondant à la forme générale de la surface inférieure d'un pied standard, dont le bord extérieur est destiné, dans sa partie centrale, à prendre appui contre la tige de la chaussure sensiblement perpendiculairement à la tige, et dont le bord intérieur, destiné à prendre appui contre la paroi interne de la zone centrale de la tige sensiblement tangentiellement à celle-ci, est surélevé par rapport à la partie basse de la semelle, de telle sorte que la zone qu'il délimite forme une zone suspendue s'élevant régulièrement à partir de la partie basse de la semelle, sensiblement depuis la ligne médiane de celle-ci jusqu'au bord intérieur surélevé, est caractérisée en ce que la zone suspendue de la semelle est agencée pour que, après mise de la semelle dans la chaussure, elle s'adapte automatiquement à la forme particulière du pied de l'utilisateur sous l'action du poids de celui-ci, par glissement le long de la tige de la zone de la semelle en appui tangentiel contre la tige.
  • Ainsi, cette semelle, quoique réalisée industriellement, peut acquérir la forme correspondant à l'anatomie exacte du pied de l'utilisateur, grâce au blocage du bord extérieur contre la tige, et à la possibilité de glissement du bord intérieur prenant appui tangentiellement contre la tige, accompagné d'une déformation de la zone suspendue en fonction de la forme du pied de l'utilisateur.
  • Le soutien de la voûte plantaire est parfaitement assuré, la semelle offrant, en permanence, une base portante à l'ensemble du pied, argumentant la stabilité de celui-ci et évitant les torsions des chevilles qu'impliquent certaines morphologies caractéristiques. De plus, la circulation du sang dans le pied est stimulée par "effet de pompe", dû à la zone suspendue qui fléchit élastiquement lors de l'appui du pied sur le sol.
  • Selon une première forme d'exécution de cette semelle, la zone suspendue est déformable mécaniquement.
  • A cet effet, la zone suspendue comporte des fentes, évidements ou encoches débouchant dans le bord intérieur délimitant la zone suspendue.
  • La semelle est ainsi auto-adaptable au pied tout en possédant des qualités d'élasticité nécessaires aux mouvements des pieds pendant certaines activités, notamment sportives.
  • La forme, l'orientation et le nombre de ces encoches, fentes ou évidements permettent d'adapter l'élasticité de la semelle et la progressivité de sa flexibilité en fonction du soutien désiré de la voûte plantaire et des performances recherchées.
  • Selon une autre caractéristique de l'invention, la zone suspendue est réalisée en un matériau thermoformable à une température inférieure à 100°C.
  • Il est ainsi possible de chauffer la semelle, à l'aide de moyens simples, tels qu'un sèche-cheveux pour ramollir la semelle et la rendre malléable avant de l'introduire dans une chaussure et la mettre en forme par appui d'un pied de l'utilisateur, ce qui permet une adaptation aux cas morphologiques de pieds extrêmement cambrés ou plats, et pour lesquels l'amplitude de déformation mécanique de la semelle n'est pas suffisante.
  • Avantageusement, le talon de la semelle est délimité par un bord relevé destiné à prendre un appui tangentiel contre la tige, et délimitant une zone suspendue.
  • Cette zone suspendue assure également une auto-adaptation de la partie arrière de la semelle à la forme du talon de l'utilisateur, et stabilise latéralement le talon lors de sa prise de contact avec le sol.
  • Suivant une première possibilité, la semelle est réalisée par thermoformage, sur une forme correspondante, d'au moins deux couches de matériaux assemblés entre elles dont au moins une est semi-rigide, ces couches pouvant être constituées, par exemple, par du polyéthylène réticulé ou non réticulé, un élastomère thermoformable, des supports enduits de polyisoprène ou de dérivés de polycaprolactone. Ces matériaux ont une certaine rigidité permettant une tenue et un soutien efficace pour le pied.
  • Suivant une deuxième possibilité, la semelle est réalisée par injection, les matériaux employés pouvant être de type polychlorure de vinyle, polyuréthane, ou ABS (Acrylonitrile- Butadiène- Styrène).
  • La forme, l'orientation et le nombre de ces encoches, fentes ou évidements permettent d'adapter l'élasticité de la semelle et la progressivité de sa flexibilité en fonction du soutien désiré de la voûte plantaire et des performances recherchées.
  • De préférence, dans les zones métatarsiennes, les couches en matériau thermomalléable semi-rigide comprennent des échancrures.
  • Ainsi, dans ces zones très sollicitées, la souplesse de la semelle est augmentée.
  • Pour un confort parfait, la semelle comprend des pièces amortissantes et des pièces de soutien disposées dans les zones d'impact.
  • Avantageusement, dans le cas où la semelle est réalisée par thermoformage de plusieurs couches de matériaux assemblées entre elles, les couches en matériau semi-rigide comportent des découpes recouvertes par les couches extérieures. Ainsi, des matelas amortissants sont réalisés, les cavités délimitées par les découpes pouvant contenir de l'air, un fluide ou un matériau amortissant.
  • De toute façon, l'invention sera bien comprise à l'aide de la description qui suit, en référence au dessin schématique annexé représentant, à titre d'exemples non limitatifs, plusieurs formes de réalisation d'une semelle intérieure selon l'invention.

  • La figure 1 représente une semelle 2 ayant un profil correspondant à la forme générale de la surface inférieure du pied et qui est moulée en un matériau thermoformable à basse température, c'est-à-dire entre 65 et 100°C.
  • Le bord 2a situé du côté intérieur du pied est surélevé de façon à ce que la zone 2c de la semelle 2 qu'il délimite forme une voûte suspendue 3 sensiblement à partir de la ligne médiane de la semelle 2, cette zone suspendue se raccordant tangentiellement avec le fond de la chaussure. La partie arrière de la semelle 2 comprend un bord relevé 2d délimitant une cuvette 4.
  • Comme le montre la figure 5, le bord 2b situé du côté extérieur du pied est destiné à prendre appui contre la tige 5 de la chaussure 6 sensiblement perpendiculairement à celle-ci, tandis que le bord 2a situé du côté intérieur du pied est destiné à prendre appui contre la paroi interne de la zone centrale 5a de la tige 5, sensiblement tangentiellement à celle-ci. Le bord 2d est également destiné à prendre appui sensiblement tangentiellement à la tige 5.
  • La semelle est stabilisée par l'appui de ses bords 2a et 2b contre la tige 5. Le pied est mis en appui sur elle afin de lui faire acquérir la forme correspondant à l'anatomie exacte de sa surface inférieure.
  • La voûte 3 délimite un vide 10 entre la semelle 2 et la première 7 au fond de la chaussure 6, permettant, lorsque la voûte plantaire est en appui contre la zone 2c de la semelle 2, de rendre cette zone 2c élastiquement déformable de manière à ce qu'elle puisse s'enfoncer lorsque le pied exerce une pression sur elle et reprendre sa forme initiale lorsque cette pression se relâche. Ainsi, l'auto-adaptation de la semelle 2 à la forme particulière de ce pied est réalisée, par glissement le long de la tige 5 sous l'action de la pression de celle-ci lorsque la chaussure 6 est fermée, des zones en appui tangentiel.
  • Les figures 2 à 4 représentent sous différents angles une forme de réalisation perfectionnée de cette semelle dans laquelle les mêmes éléments sont désignés par les mêmes références que précédemment.
  • La semelle 20 qu'elles représentent est réalisée par thermoformage sur une forme correspondante et assemblage entre elles de deux couches 21 et 22, la couche semi-rigide 21 étant constituée par du polyéthylène réticulé et la couche 22 par une mousse élastique de confort, telle que du polyuréthane.
  • La partie 20c formant la voûte 3 comprend des fentes 25 et des encoches 26 débouchant dans le bord 20a de la semelle 20, ménagées sensiblement transversalement par rapport à l'axe longitudinal de cette dernière, et permettant de moduler son élasticité et la progressivité de sa flexibilité. En outre, la semelle 20 comprend des zones 30 d'épaisseur moindre constituées par des découpes ménagées dans la couche 21 et qui permettent d'augmenter sa souplesse au niveau des surfaces d'appui du pied les plus sollicités, c'est-à-dire le gros orteil, les têtes métatarsiennes et le talon.
  • Les figures 6 à 8 représentent, vues de dessous, des semelles 201,202 et 203 comprenant une couche 221 de polyéthylène réticulé et une couche 222 de mousse de polyuréthane élastique de confort. La couche 221 comprend des échancrures 226 dans les zones métatarsiennes,augmentant sa souplesse à cet endroit.
  • La semelle 201 comprend en outre une pièce 223 en mousse de polyuréthane interposée entre les couches 221 et 222 augmentant l'amortissement de sa partie avant, et une pièce 224 de soutien du talon en mousse amortissante, telle que néoprène, mousse de polyuréthane ou de polychlorure de vinyle expansé.
  • Dans la semelle 202, la couche 221 comprend une découpe circulaire 230 au niveau du talon, comme cela est visible sur la figure 9. La couche 222 et la pièce 224 recouvrent cette découpe 230, ce qui permet de constituer un matelas d'air augmentant le confort et la souplesse de la semelle 202.
  • La semelle 203 comprend des fentes 225 augmentant la souplesse de sa partie surélevée 203c.
  • Grâce à la conformation des différentes couches ou pièces et à leur positionnement, la souplesse de la semelle selon l'invention peut être adaptée aux différentes morphologies.
  • L'invention n'est naturellement pas limitée aux différentes formes de réalisation décrites ci-dessus à titre d'exemples. Elle en embrasse au contraire toutes les variantes de réalisation et l'on ne s'éloignerait pas du cadre de l'invention en employant d'autres matériaux tels que de l'élastomère thermoformable, des supports enduits de polyisoprène ou de dérivés de polycaprolactone, ou en réalisant la semelle par injection de matériaux de type polychlorure de vinyle, polyuréthane ou ABS.

Claims (10)

  1. Semelle intérieure de chaussure, réalisée en un matériau thermoformable semi-rigide et obtenue par moulage de façon à présenter un profil correspondant à la forme générale de la surface inférieure d'un pied standard, dont le bord extérieur (2b) est destiné, dans sa partie centrale, à prendre appui contre la tige (5) de la chaussure (6) sensiblement perpendiculairement à celle-ci, et dont le bord intérieur (2a), destiné à prendre appui contre la paroi interne de la zone centrale (5a) de la tige (5) sensiblement tangentiellement à la tige, est surélevé par rapport à la partie basse de la semelle (2), de telle sorte que la zone (2c) qu'il délimite forme une zone suspendue s'élevant régulièrement à partir de la partie basse de la semelle, sensiblement depuis la ligne médiane de celle-ci jusqu'au bord intérieur (2a) surélevé, caractérisée en ce que la zone suspendue (2c) de la semelle (2) est agencée pour que, après mise de la semelle dans la chaussure, elle s'adapte automatiquement à la forme particulière du pied de l'utilisateur sous l'action du poids de celui-ci, par glissement le long de la tige (5) de la zone de la semelle en appui tangentiel contre la tige.
  2. Semelle selon la revendication 1, caractérisée en ce que la zone suspendue (2c) est déformable mécaniquement.
  3. Semelle selon la revendication 1, caractérisée en ce que la zone suspendue (2c) comporte des fentes (25, 225), évidements ou encoches (26) débouchant dans le bord intérieur (2a, 20a) délimitant la zone suspendue.
  4. Semelle selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 3, caractérisée en ce que la zone suspendue (2c) est réalisée en un matériau thermoformable à une température inférieure à 100°C, et est déformable mécaniquement après élévation de sa température.
  5. Semelle selon l'une quelconque 1 à 4, caractérisée en ce que son talon est délimité par un bord relevé (2d) destiné à prendre un appui tangentiel contre la tige, et délimitant une zone suspendue.
  6. Semelle selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 5, caractérisé en ce qu'elle comprend au moins deux couches de matériaux (21, 22), assemblées l'une à l'autre, dont au moins une (21) est semi-rigide.
  7. Semelle selon la revendication 6, caractérisée en ce que, dans les zones métatarsiennes, les couches (21, 221) en matériau thermoformable comportant des échancrures (226), recouvertes par la matière des couches extérieures (222, 224).
  8. Semelle selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 7, caractérisée en ce que la semelle (2) est obtenue par injection.
  9. Semelle selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 7, caractérisée en ce que la semelle (2) est obtenue par thermoformage sur une forme.
  10. Semelle selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 9, caractérisée en ce qu'elle comporte des pièces amortissantes (223) et des pièces de soutien (224) disposées dans les zones d'impact.
