Definitions

  • the invention relates to a trolley for transporting a variable in length by a lifting support column with a column head and a removable from this table top
  • a trolley for transporting a variable in length by a lifting support column with a column head and a removable from this table top comprising an operating table with a chassis and two support bars for supporting the table top, which are at a distance and parallel to each other on the chassis are arranged such that they can be brought into an engagement position with the table top on both sides of the support column.
  • Transport trolleys of this type are described, for example, in German patents DE-A-1 158 636 and DE-A-1 196 815.
  • the transport carriage In the system described there for transporting the table top of an operating table, the transport carriage is moved up to the operating table in such a way that the support column lies between the two support bars and the support bars reach under the table top. Then the support column of the operating table is lowered. As soon as the table top rests on the support bars of the transport carriage, it can no longer follow the downward movement of the support column, so that it differs from the Tabletop releases. The table top can then be continued on the trolley. The table top is transferred from the transport trolley to the support column in the opposite way.
  • the invention has for its object to provide a trolley of the type mentioned easy to operate means that make it possible to use the trolley only for lifting and transporting the table top and on the other hand for transporting the entire operating table.
  • At least one support element for supporting the support column of the operating table is arranged on the trolley on both sides of the space between the support bars such that it is in each case between a support position in which it projects into the space between the support bars to reach under a column head-fixed part, and a release position is adjustable, and that two support elements located on either side of the space are connected to one another such that when the one support element is adjusted, the associated other support element in the same position is adjusted.
  • the table top can be lifted off the support column in the manner described above and transported without a support column. If, on the other hand, the support elements are adjusted in their support position, in which they engage under a part fixed to the support column, the entire operating table can be transported on the trolley without special locking means being provided between the table top and the support column of the operating table, which are then designed to be so strong should be able to support the weight of the support column.
  • the functional connection of the two support elements described above ensures that only one of the elements has to be adjusted, while the further support element coupled to it, which is located on the other side of the transport carriage and thus also on the other side of the operating table, is thereby automatically adjusted as well becomes. This makes operation easier, particularly in cases where there is only a single operator.
  • the two support elements can be mechanically coupled to one another in a simple and inexpensive manner in that the support elements are connected to one another by a Bowden cable, the core of which is connected at one end to a support element and at the other end to the trolley and the casing of which is at one end the dolly and his other End is connected to the other support element. If the support element connected to the movable end of the soul is adjusted, the soul bends out because its other end is fixed. This means that the jacket must also follow this deflection. Since its one end is also fixed, it adjusts the other support element connected to its movable end against the direction of adjustment of the first support element. So you get in a very simple way an opposing coupled adjustment of the two support elements.
  • the Bowden cable preferably runs through a crossbar connecting the support bars to one another, so that it is neither externally visible nor in any other way disturbing and is itself secured against possible damage.
  • the support elements are each designed in the form of a folding lever, which is each pivotably mounted on a stand of the transport carriage which supports a support bar, the soul and the jacket of the Bowden cable with their respective movable ends being at a distance from the pivot axis of the respective folding lever attack on this.
  • the transport carriage shown in FIGS. 1 and 2 comprises a chassis, generally designated 10, with longitudinal bars 12 which are connected to one another by at least one transverse bar 14 in the region of one of their longitudinal ends and on which wheels 16 are mounted. It can be seen in FIG. 1 that the chassis is open on one side, so that the transport carriage can be approached to a support column of an operating table 20 (FIG. 2) in such a way that the two longitudinal spars 12 lie on both sides of the support column 18.
  • a horizontal support beam 24 is arranged on the longitudinal beams 12 via a vertical stand 22, which runs essentially parallel to the respective longitudinal spar 12.
  • the construction is selected so that in the position of the transport carriage shown in FIG. 1 relative to the support column 18 of the operating table 20, the support bars 24 can reach under the table top 26 of the operating table. It should be emphasized, however, that the support bars do not really have to reach under the table top, but that there must only be the possibility that the support bars can engage with mounting elements fastened to the table top.
  • a folding lever 28 is pivotally mounted near the support beam 24 in such a way that it can be pivoted between a release position which can be seen in FIG. 3 and a support position which can be seen in FIGS. 2 and 4, in which it has a support element 30 in the intermediate space protrudes between the support bars 24 and can reach under the column head 32 of the support column 18.
  • the support column 18 is lowered by its built-in lifting device, the table top is taken over by the transport carriage.
  • the support column 18 detaches from the table top.
  • the transport trolley can be moved away with the table top.
  • the folding levers 28 are pivoted into the position shown in FIG. 4, in which they reach under the column head 32. If, starting from the position shown in FIG. 2, the lifting device of the support column 18 is actuated in the sense of lowering the support column, then instead of lowering the column head and the Table top now the column base is raised because the column head rests on the support elements 30 which are rigid in height. Now the entire operating table can be moved.
  • FIG. 5 shows how the two support elements 30 can be adjusted in a convenient manner with the folding levers 28, it being sufficient to actuate one of the folding levers 28 in each case.
  • the other folding lever then performs the opposite movement.
  • the two folding levers are connected by a Bowden cable, generally designated 34.
  • the core 36 of the Bowden cable is fastened to an element 38 fixed to the trolley.
  • the associated end of the jacket 40 of the Bowden cable 34 is connected to the folding lever 28 at a point 44 remote from the pivot axis 42 of the folding lever 28.
  • the core 36 of the Bowden cable 34 is connected to the folding lever 28 at a point 46 remote from the pivot axis 42, while the associated end of the jacket 40 of the Bowden cable is fastened to a point 48 fixed to the trolley.
  • the folding lever is designed as a fork-shaped part with two legs 52 and 54, in which the bearing bores 56 for receiving the pivot shaft 52 are located.
  • the two legs 52, 54 are connected to one another by a central web 58, which strikes the stand 22 when the folding lever 28 is pivoted into its resting position and thus simultaneously limits the pivoting path of the respective folding lever and defines the resting position of the folding lever.
  • an inclined surface 60 formed at the free end of the support element 30 is directed horizontally, so that a solid support for the support column is obtained.
