Abstract

Das Substrat, das als Gewebe, Gewirk, insbesondere Schussraschel oder auch Malimo ausgebildet sein kann, besteht aus 45 bis 65 Gew.-% natürlicher Fasern, davon mindestens 40 Gew.-% Wolle und 5 bis 25 Gew.-% Ramie. Zu 35 bis 55 Gew.-% besteht es aus synthetischen Fasern wie Polypropylen, Polyamid, Polyacryl, Aramid und insbesondere Polyester. Bei Ausbildung als Gewebe oder Gewirk kann etwa die Kette aus synthetischen Fasern und der Schuss aus Wolle - Ramie - Mischgarn bestehen oder umgekehrt oder auch in Kette wie Schuss sowohl Wolle - Ramie - Mischgarn als auch Garn aus synthetischer Faser verwendet sein.

Description

  • Die Erfindung betrifft ein textiles Substrat gemäss dem Oberbegriff des Anspruchs 1.
  • Es ist ein gattungsgemässes textiles Substrat bekannt (EP-0 0356 708 A1), bei welchem der Anteil an natürlichen Fasern zwischen 65 und 85 Gew.-% liegt. Derartige Substrate zeichnen sich durch hervorragende Fähigkeit zur Aufnahme und Ableitung von Wasserdampf und Wasser aus, was sie besonders geeignet für Sitzbezüge, insbesondere Bezüge auf lange ohne Unterbrechung benützten Sitzgelegenheiten wie Auto- und Flugzeugsitzen, Rollstühlen, Bürostühlen etc. macht, da durch die gute Feuchtigkeitsableitung von der Gewebeoberfläche verhindert wird, dass sich der Sitzbezug feucht anfühlt und der Sitzkomfort leidet.
  • Da sich bei früheren Untersuchungen gezeigt hatte, dass die Wasseraufnahmefähigkeit der natürlichen Fasern, insbesondere von Wolle einen beträchtlichen Beitrag zu den erwähnten günstigen Eigenschaften liefert, war davon ausgegangen worden, dass der Anteil an solchen Fasern verhältnismässig hoch sein, eben mindestens 65 Gew.-% betragen müsse und bei geringeren Anteilen Saugfähigkeit und Speicherfähigkeit für Wasser nicht ausreichen würden. Obwohl ein hoher Anteil an Fasern aus synthetischem Material wegen der damit verbundenen besseren Gestaltungsmöglichkeiten wünschenswert ist, hatte man sich damit abgefunden, dass besagter Anteil nicht höher als 35 Gew.-% sein darf. Ueberraschenderweise hat es sich jedoch bei weiteren Versuchen gezeigt, dass Anteile von natürlichen Fasern, die zwischen 45 und 65 Gew.-% liegen, zur Gewährleistung der eingangs geschilderten günstigen Eigenschaften bei gattungsgemässen Geweben durchaus ausreichen.
  • Es hat sich dabei herausgestellt, dass der Anteil der Ramie zwischen 5 und 25 Gew.-% liegen und derjenige der Wolle 40% nicht unterschreiten sollte.
  • Die Erfindung erlaubt also die Herstellung von textilen Substraten, welche die gewünschten Eigenschaften bezüglich Feuchtigkeitsableitung haben, jedoch zugleich einen verhältnismässig hohen, gute Gestaltungsmöglichkeiten eröffnenden Anteil an synthetischen Fasern aufweisen.
  • Erfindungsgemässe textile Substrate können in verschiedenen Ausführungen hergestellt werden. Besonders bewährt haben sich Substrate, bei denen Wolle enthaltenden Garnen stets auch Ramie beigemischt ist.
  • Als sehr günstig hat es sich auch erwiesen, bei Geweben oder Gewirken Kettfäden aus synthetischem Material zu verwenden, während die Schussfäden aus einem Gemisch von Wolle und Ramie bestehen oder umgekehrt Schussfäden aus synthetischen Fasern und Kettfäden aus Wolle und Ramie zu verwenden.
  • Es sind jedoch auch Substrate möglich, die in Kette wie Schuss sowohl Wolle - Ramie - Mischgarn als auch Garn aus synthetischer Faser enthalten.
  • Unter den synthetischen Materialien eignen sich vor allem Polyester, Polypropylen, Polyamid, Polyacryl und Aramid. Besonders bewährt hat sich Polyester.
  • Das erfindungsgemässe textile Substrat kann auf verschiedene Weisen realisiert werden, neben Geweben und Gewirken, insbesondere Schussraschel kommt auch Malimo in Frage.
  • Als Beispiel sei noch ein erfindungsgemässes Substrat beschrieben, das zu besonders günstigen Resultaten führte:
  • Es handelt sich um ein Gewebe aus 42 Gew.-% Wolle, 10 Gew.-% Ramie und 48 Gew.-% Polyester, dabei bestehen die Kettfäden ausschliesslich aus Polyester, die Schussfäden sind Wolle - Ramie - Mischgarn.
  • Die Bestimmung der Sauggeschwindigkeit ergab folgende, die Werte von Substraten mit wesentlich tieferem Polyesteranteil sogar übertreffende Resultate:

Claims (9)

  1. Textiles Substrat für Sitzbezüge, welches mindestens 40 Gew.-% Wolle, mindestens 5 Gew.-% Ramie und Fasern aus synthetischem Material enthält, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Anteil natürlicher Fasern zwischen 45 und 65 Gew.-% liegt.
  2. Textiles Substrat nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass jedes Wolle enthaltende Garn auch Ramie enthält.
  3. Textiles Substrat nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass es als Gewebe oder Gewirk ausgebildet ist.
  4. Textiles Substrat nach Anspruch 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Kettfäden oder die Schussfäden aus synthetischen Fasern und die Schussfäden bzw. die Kettfäden aus natürlichen Fasern bestehen.
  5. Textiles Substrat nach Anspruch 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Kette wie Schuss sowohl Garn aus natürlichen Fasern als auch Garn aus synthetischen Fasern enthalten.
  6. Textiles Substrat nach Anspruch 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass es als Schussraschel ausgebildet ist.
  7. Textiles Substrat nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass es als Malimo ausgebildet ist.
  8. Textiles Substrat nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 7, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die synthetischen Fasern im wesentlichen aus einem oder mehreren der folgenden Materialien bestehen: Polyester, Polypropylen, Polyamid, Polyacryl, Aramid.
  9. Textiles Substrat nach Anspruch 8, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die synthetischen Fasern aus Polyester bestehen.
